I was going to say the same ... typical Rajasthani ghaghras are shorter, they are ankle length. Only ladies who spend the bulk of their time indoors, can wear the full length ghaghras that Mohini and Maithili do. They are too impractical for women who work and spend time outdoors.

I have just come bck from a small vacation in Rajasthan and observed that the rural ladies actually wear short lehangas abt 2-3 inches above the ankle. This is because it is easier for them to walk and also they wear beautiful thick silver anklets .. They are so thick that if you hit them on someone's head they will get a bump 😆

Rajasthani girls have to walk long distances to get water on sand. That's why their lehengas are quite short - just to make it comfortable

My favourite look for Sanaya is a sari and its sad she wont get to wear one in this show.

Anyways she looks SO beautiful in those lehengas <3 and her hair <3
