Hello people! Happy V day & happy Teri Meri AsYa First Dance Anniversary to everyone. It's just that today I am missing AsYa and KaBhi so so much & hence I sat and wrote this drabble, the best way to assure myself these days.😆 This story is mostly from Asad's POV. Okay, here you go!

She wore a black dress, the same black dress she wore on their first date. It was the same restaurant they had had their first date six months back. She was looking gorgeous sitting across him, but he was disturbed because of her tears. He told her that he really loved her and that she was his life, but he got no response from her. She sat staring at the cup of coffee in her hands & shedding tears silently. Asad couldn't take it any more and he bent forward to wipe away her tears. But before he could do so, she stood up & walked away from him as he sat down staring at her retreating back. He wiped away a tear drop from his eye.

Zoya's Place
Zoya entered her dark empty room and Asad followed her. She stormed into her room & came out in a while. As she drank water in the kitchen, he tried to talk sense into her. He told her that he needed him every moment in his life. But instead of saying anything, she looked in his direction with a blank look & ran out to the streets. Asad was now worried for her and he ran after her. As he saw a rushing car about to collide her, he ran to her frantically calling out "ZOYAAA!!!" and managed to pull her back to the safety of his arms at the last moment. He took her in a bone crushing hug putting his face into her hair, but she stood completely shell-shocked. Suddenly, she broke down on the road and cried into the empty night as he slowly let go of her. He looked at her helplessly as she cried and cried and cried. tears rolled down his eyes as he helplessly watched the love of his life break down before him. He watched as she ran back into her home & collapsed on the sofa with a newspaper dated two days back in her trembling hands. Even though the ink on the newspaper was not clear because of the constant tears falling on it, still the headlines stood out to make him realise & to remind her of the harsh reality of their lives:
BIZ TYCOON ASAD AHMED KHAN KILLED IN AN ACCIDENT AFTER NIKAH!
Fate had played such a cruel game with them.

Suddenly she woke with a start, sweating profusely. Asad was watching her with a smug adorning his lips.
Zoya(relieved that it was only a dream): What Mr. Khan..
Asad: Aaj hamari suhaag raat hai, aur aapko so gayin, sapne bhi dekh liya, aure sapne mein paseena paseena bhi ho gayi. Aur maine kuch kiya bhi nahin.
Zoya snuggles into Asad's strong arms "Woh Actually..."
