to be honest it is not that hte writers are fools...its that they think their audiences are stupid and will fall for whatever is shown or heard.

Great points. Makes it so aggravating as a viewer when you can see these things and the writers who are paid completely ignore them.

I agree with Pallavi25. As much as this show is about entertainment, within this context Ekta and Zee could use their wealth and power for the betterment of the country and women. It is sad that instead they are focused on making a mockery out of a serious issue and show such insensitivity.

I could right better dialogue and show more character in writing Ahana/Anitika. Just the fact that she lets Naren treat her with so much disrespect is disappointing.

I completely agree.. even if EK went with the track of a woman being too scared to admit rape, therefore foregoing the rape (please.. if anyone ever does get raped... do not forego going to the hospital and getting a rape kit done... my comment is only regarding the show), there is SO MUCH EVIDENCE that can still prove Raunak is the rapist. Everyone believes that Mansi has been raped, but now we need to prove that it was Raunak.

Going along with the evidence listed in the quote above, what about the outfit that Mansi wore? There should be DNA on that. I know they test for DNA in India, because they do it on CID. what about fingerprints on the bracelet that was on the roof. If that isn't Raunak's bracelet... then how would his fingerprints be on it???

So many different things that EK can do to prove this rape... but she does not just to drag the story along. And that's probably not a good idea.. this was the worst storyline she cold have chosen.
