Star Plus' Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, produced by Director's Kut is presently dealing with Akshara's (Hina Khan) efforts to convince her father-in-law (Sandeep Mehta) and her family for his re-marriage. She has also zeroed in on Devyani (Kshitee Jog) as the ideal bride-to-be for her father-in-law.
In the episodes to come, Akshara will get to know of Devyani having two grown-up kids and about being a single mother after her husband had left her.
Informs a source, "Akshara will talk about the matter with the family and everyone will be fine with the match. But soon Akshara's plans of getting her father-in-law married to Devyani will hit a roadblock with her own son Naksh (Shivansh Kotia) disliking the match."
Yes, Naksh who has been very close to Gayatri will not be comfortable having someone else take her place. He will go on to tell his mother that he does not want a new dadi. This will again be an uphill task for Akshara to convince the young boy.
