The decision is finally made, and it is none other than fashionista Sonam Kapoor opposite Salman Khan in the much hyped Sooraj Barjatya film. Since Salman Khan was finalized for the role, there have been many a speculation doing the rounds about the female lead of the film. Apparently, two actresses were zeroed in towards the end. However, between Deepika and Sonam, it was Sonam who finally got this plum offer as Deepika's dates were tied up.
A source from Rajshree productions told PTI, "We are working on the dates... 99 per cent we will decide about the leading lady in a day or two. Most likely, it is Sonam who is going to act in the film."

All that bhai fawning over DP in SGA was finally useless.

I am very happy with this decision for:

*the original Prem finally returning to Sooraj's family after so many years 😊

*Sonam finally getting a movie with a huge banner and with a director that can very well use her Indian looks and mold her in a way that we yet have to see and that hopefully can be a turning point in her not so impressive career graph till date.

Oh how I wish it was Deepika opposite Salman, oh well better luck next time. 😭
