Katrina looks so good.

Why do people constantly complain about Kabir Khan making the same kind of movies while at the same time hail Suraj Barjatya, who also makes the same kind of family drama in each of his films, and Farah Khan, who makes the same kind of OTT masala potboilers? Most directors have niche areas they work in.

How?

Kabul Express revolved around a terrorist trying to go home. It took place in Afghanistan did not have any of the usual Bollywood things.

In New York the movie dealt with 3 American students and how their lives were turned upside down due to 9/11, a tragedy they had no part in. It dealt trauma and personal struggles. The situations shown in the movie were so serious and also real.

ETT on the other hand was a pure action, romance, commercial flick that revolved around an Indian and Pakistani agent.

So how do the movies all look the same. Is it because he likes dealing with things like terrorism? Some directors only make romantic comedies, some directors like to blow up cars in every movie, and Kabir Khan likes to make movies on a issue that is very serious in today's time from a different perspective.
