CV is suffering from Alzheimer's, since they only recall a long forgotten plot when they need to create some drama. They had introduced many wonderful plots and abandoned them midway in favour of some really idiotic tracks
1) Zoya's family...whatever happened to that guy from the Embassy Mr Dhurinder Bhatawdekar?Wasn't he supposed to deport Zoya? I think CVs has forgotten that Zoya is an American citizen and that she has family and friends in New York...she's getting married now so where is everybody? Where is Aapi and Jeeju? Zoya's getting married and Dilshad and Asad did not even think to tell them?
2)The truth about Zoya's father...when we discovered that Siddiqui was Zoya's dad I expected them to build on that revelation but instead they made us sit through the search for the doll with the recorded confession, Jaanu and senseless Badi Bi vs Razia smackdown...now that Siddiqui knows who is daughter is they introduced Tanveer as his bride...CVs seems to have forgotten Siddiqui's hatred for Asad, because if I was Tanveer instead of marrying a man old enough to be my dad I'd partner up with Siddiqui to break up AsYa...so that agreement between them was a waste of a good plot...
3) Humaira's heart condition track was eclipsed by the ZoYaan fiasco...I actually thought that once they introduced Humzie's condition Zoya would save the day and become some sort of donor match for Humaira and the two sisters get closer...but now since CVs forgot about this track, my guess is that this will happen much later when Gul needs to end the sister clash.
4) Ayaan disappeared, the whole 3 month before ZoYaan divorce was completely forgotten...The three month till ZoYaan track had potential, I expected that once Siddiqui found out that his daughter is Zoya he'd use her marriage to Ayaan to keep her in Siddiqui mansion but this track is also over shadowed by the whole Rashid is ill and the Gaffoor- Tanveer marriage track. Now I think Ayaan will rock up during the AsYa wedding and they'll have a 'sweet home Alabama moment' where one of them forgot to sign the divorce papers or he'd come and ask for his share in the inheritance...either way, bring Ayaan back!
5) Ayaan and Humaira... they were soo cute. I really like Humaira and Haider so I hope they bring Ayaan back so we can see an amazing love triangle. but looks like the love story of Humaira and Ayaan is forgotten since it is overshadowed by Rashid's illness...
6) Haider blackmailing Razia, Haider is a nice change in the story and he had Razia on the ropes but then he had to go get lost in the jungle with humaira and even though he's still got a vendetta his character is placed in situations that deter him from his true goal. on another note...since Zoya's mother is Haider's aunt, then shouldn't Haider know Aapi? Aapi and Jeeju know the truth about Zoya's past...it would be soo awesome if they teamed up with Haider to take down the Siddiquis...
This is just my opinion... Qubool hai had soo much potential as a show but they gave their villains importance over their leads
