great post -- and lovely addition of the first scene - it really was lovable. You are right on about her parsimony. No need to scream and shout, one simple firm sentence will do it. skid ho gaye Major-sa -- so used to having the upper hand -- this chit of a girl (in his eyes) has reduced him to dooing the unthinkable -- asking for a needle and thread -- blue thread at that! sunehri is appropriately perplexed!!!! sweeet :)
And yes, she does call the shots, as of now...or at least now. how will be handle the big unraveling that's coming faster than he can say gaddar!

just caught the episode.. wow today was a laughterfest.
enjoyed it immensely.
both masala dialogues and the post-asthmatic shouts were fantastic.
now this is a pair with cracking chemistry!!
and the timing was great. even enjoyed the lightning thunder sound effects.
and again, have to love chachaji. he remained quiet on her identity and shut up chachi at prime moments.. with perfect conviction. 👏
sunehri was better today. she being the baby of the family and the parent's smiling acceptance of her pagalpan helped a lot in her gaining my acceptance. also the better natural tone of voice.
why was sumair wearing such pretty silver jewelry? do boys in rajasthan do that too?
diya, your later edit takes the cake.. how adorable are they!!!😳 i just wish the first half of the scene was also in this episode instead of the last one.
Hehe ... Jaya, you and me both 😆 I enjoyed the episode a lot. I think the biggest difference as compared to other soaps is that here Dilsher stood up for Paro, and didn't let Mohini go on taunting and insulting ... and what Mohini said, was actually justified to quite an extent ... anyone who did not know the circumstances of Paro being there, could read the situation similarly. Fortunately both Dilsher and Kaaka-sa knew who Paro was ... so Dilsher retrieved the situation before it could get out of hand ... calling Paro Rudra's fiance was a way of buying time till Rudra could get back and handle things. An engagement is easier to break than a marriage.I like the way the cv's are tying up the loops here ... the introductory scene of Kaaka was not just to introduce him, but had a bearing on this scene when Paro is finally revealed to the family. He also knows that her identity is probably to be kept secret ... so he goes along with Dilsher's story. I do expect him to question Rudra more closely about why a BSD captive should be kept hidden at home ... unless he also knows that she is supposed to be dead. Am sure they will bring that out too ... so far they have been pretty good at closing the loops they open up.I think Dilsher did not say anything for some time, because he really wasn't sure what to say or do. The situation looked bad for Paro, Mohini's words were correct in their place ... But he obviously feels that Paro is a good girl, he already wanted Rudra to marry her, he seems to like her ... I think the moment Sumer started towards her to throw her out, Dilsher had had enough. Like I said in an earlier post, both Rudra and Dilsher, and Danveer too, are all gentlemen under that rough facade, and have a strong protective instinct ... which is now coming to the fore, for Paro.I am loving the story telling so far.And I LOVED the first tiny PaRud scene ... missed it the first time round .. and when I saw it, I was surprised there were not more posts on it. it was so cute!!! 😳
