I completely agree! I didn't watch Qubool Hai during ZoYaan. All my hatred for that tracks comes from SBS/SBB segments and forum posts which told me what was going on. Maybe that's why I can still root for AsYa. I will never understand when I (as a viewer) can have so much love for characters, then how can the people that created them disrespect their own creation and destroy their own characters. Zoya's character was completely destroyed to make that pointless track work. Everyone described Zoya as a chirpy, opinionated, and lost girl with a heart of gold. Gul totally took out the opinionated part and made Zoya lose her mind. 😡
The female portrayal of this show is atrocious even more so when they depict men as never being wrong. Imran, Rashid and Gaffur are all either made to look like victims or are going to be made to look like victims. Men on QH have no consequences for their actions and the women are made to be as b🤬,t, wh🤬res or just weak and dimwitted.

Like seriously if gul's aim of Qubool Hai was to butcher the self respect of a women, well then I think she just won the grammy for that, like W*F, shes a women herself and most if not all the women characters have been butchered in the show

1. Zoya - going back to Asad instead of fighting for herself + ignoring the whole ZoYaan fiasco as if it never even happened

2. Nikhat - do I even need to say anything + killing herself because no one will make her their daughter in law, PFFFTTT, honey your gonna need a better excuse then that

3. Humeira - the once sweet and innocent girl transforming into her mother + blaming a man for raping her when he did no such FREAKIN thing

4. Razia - not even gonna go there

5. Tanveer - not gonna bother

6. Dilshad(not that much) - leaving her kids who have been there for her through all her life, her son who had given up his childhood so that his mother can have a bright future for her husband who is, was a coward

7. Shireen - full of herself + thinks that all bad things happen to her + curses others fate + emotionally blackmails people but when it comes to her turns a blind eye

8. Haseena bi - list is way too long

9. Chand bi - please refer to number 8

10. Najma - we are getting there

I swear the only women who hasnt been butchered is Nuzhat and only because she hardly had a screen role anyways

Shireen. It was her up bringing and her emphasis all the time about her getting married. Nikhat unfortunately was taught from the beginning that she can only be valued if she is married. She doesn't want to be come a burden to her family so the only solution is to get married. It was clearly shown when the engagement broke with Imran even Rashid didn't step in and say its okay finish your schooling and build a life for yourself. Nikhat was completely blackmailed by her mother's words to say yes to Farhan.

The other person I blame is Razia. She is the one who brought Haseena Bi's family. We've seen how even Razia is so no surprise her bestie is just as bad. I always thought there was something off about Farhan. But the CVs then tried showing he was all good but in reality it was all part of the plan. So, the big twist for me wasn't too much of a twist. I just though oh, the CVs decided to make him evil finally and show it fully to the audience.

Third person is Nikhat. She had enough maturity the first time to give blessings to Imran and Najma when her engagement broke. At that point in time I felt she was the sister of Asad. But then things just went down hill from there. Unfortunately, Nikhat has never had anyone's support. Shireen and Rashid treat her as a burden to the family. Shireen has also disappeared...maybe she got lost on her way to the pharmacy? 😆 Even she would think her daughter is going mad...only because she is the second wife for Farhan 🤔 and Dilshaad's black magic not anything else. Rashid is now stuck in a wheelchair and cannot speak. Najma abandoned her because Haseena has been able to convince her that she is going mad. Imran also thinks she is mad. Ayaan ran off to London. Asad is too busy with SM that he has no time for his other siblings. Humeria has her own love life troubles with Haider. Nuzrat is like a non-existent little sister that only shows up when the production house needs some background person. Zoya doesn't share any real relationship with Nikhat other than a bartering item for the whole Zoyaan mess that lead to Nikhat and Farhan's wedding. So, Nikhat isn't even on her radar.

Truthfully, Dilshad's characterization pisses me off the most. She is such a strong woman and she is shown to have grace, intelligence and she raised kids like Asad and Najma YET SHE IS SO BLINDLY IN LOVE WITH RASHID? Even if she loves him, she can't see his faults? She expects her son and everyone to forgive him? Razia, Shireen, Tanveer, Haseena and Chandi are all characterized to be intolerable. But Dilshad and Zoya are suppose to be positive characters intended to be role models or at least have admirable qualities. Depicting them as lovestruck fools, who cannot see their men's faults is just unacceptable. Due to all this I turn off my brain when I watch QH and when it gets too much (ex. ZoYaan) I stop watching it. When Asad slapped Zoya and I saw the lack of an aftermath (a stupid dance sequence), I got mad and didn't watch QH for at least two weeks.
