You misunderstood me.

Intelligence doesn't mean you'll ALWAYS be a good actor.

But in order to be a GOOD actor, you cannot be dumb. You need some for of intelligence.

You get me? Like it's not a vice a versa situation. Amisha and Lara are intelligent women, but not in terms of acting.

Maybe Amisha is a great with numbers. Maybe Lara is very articulate. Both are forms of intelligence.

But my point is, you cannot be stupid and be good at any craft. You may be ignorant and ill informed, but dumb/stupid/low IQ...I don't think so.

My point is, the fact that Kareena excels at her characters requires some form of intelligence. It's like Reema Kagti and various other directors said, she doenst even look like she's trying or paying attention. She just reads the scene, takes your cues and direction in once, and then nails the emotions down.

And mind you, I'm not talking about her overacting days/K3G. That didn't require too much intelligence and it showed in her craft coz people couldn't connect to her acting. She just overacted.

Now she understands it and uses her head to get into the depth of a scene/character. And IMO that shows.

It's not like acting takes an inborn talent like singing, im not saying acting is easy
all im saying is for star kids like sonam and kareena acting is EASY then it will be for me

acting requires a lot of skill, but after the huge crew , the countless retakes how much credit do they really deserve?

if acting was easy for star kids then whatever happened to Fardeen Khan, Esha Deol, Zayed Khan, Imran Khan, Twinkle Khanna. Last time I checked acting is a talent, its got nothing to do with whether or not one is surrounded by actors throughout their lives. Its a talent like any other, you either have it or you don't.
