PROLOGUE :-
The two protagonist of the story MAYANK SHARMA and NUPUR BHUSHAN belong to a very rich family who are one of the successful business families in their own field.Both went to US to complete their management studies,in order to join their family business.They got admission in the same college.Nupur was very sweet by nature and so she used to make friends very easily and on the other hand,Mayank was very famous in ladies section of course,but he never comes to anyones' hand.Though belonging to the same college but different branch,they didn't know each other until the fresher's party,where they met,for the first time.That one meeting marked the beginning of their friendship and paved the path of thir love.Eventually by spending time with each other,they fall in love and found out their true soulmates in each other.Before returning to their respective homes,they decided that after they reached home,whenever they will get the opportunity,they will tell their family about their relationship.After returning home,they kept their promise and eventually disclosed about their affair.Since both of them belonged to well known families so everyone were very happy thinking the alliance to be well suited for both of them alongwith their families and they accepted the alliance.Soon they were socially engaged and their marriage was fixed.But the day before the marriage,Nupur suddenly declared that he could not marry Mayank.All her family was tensed,even Mayank's family alongwith him reached Nupur's home to enquire about everything,but in front of everyone,she again repeated her words of not marrying Mayank without disclosing the actual reason behind it.Her family asked and asked and continuously enquired about it,but Nupur didn't open her lips.Even Mayank thought of meeting with her alone but still he couldn't figure out the reason behind Nupur's rejection.
Mayank could not tolerate Nupur's sudden unknown rejection and went into depression and his condition gradually worsened.He was mentally so much retarded that he was bound to be kept under the treatment of psychiatrist.His condition slowly started improving but with the same pace,his heart filled up with hatred and anger.Nupur's rejection and Mayank and his family's humiliation made him an animal.He started hating Nupur like anything and his only motto in life became Nupur's destruction.This one aim made him heartless and the most cruel businessman of the city.On the other side,Nupur too was not happy on rejecting Mayank.She too went into trauma and talked as much as she had no other option left.At first,her family almost treated her as a stranger in her house due to the humiliation the family had to face,but later on her pitiful condition made everyone in her family accept her again.After forgiving her,they again tried to know about the reason behind her denial,but still she maintained silence,so they planned to make her life normal and decided to marry her off.
