its a sikh festival...used to be the beginning of a new year till last year...

this was the day the khalsa panth was created...do some research on it 😊

baishakhi is suppose to be the Bengali New Year.... 😊

& the sikhs also celebrate it as their New Year tooo I guess.... 😊

well me being as a sikh jst 2 mke shure dat itz a national holiday in india now..bt itz sikh festival...in 1699 SRI GURU GOBIND SINGH JI founded KHALSA PANTH. & that day is known as vaisakhi...frm that day every sikh man has a SINGH after their name & Woman has a KAUR after their name.

& Kaur meanz Princess

I am going to add just a little to that. Guru Gobind Singh Ji gave sikh same last names because he wanted to make them equal.
