If I take it as light hearted post and do not get into too much detailed analysis of whether each of the below are suicide attempts or not, there is one more attempt from Jodha which can be qualified as suicidal:
Remember the time when she confesses to Jalal that she was the one who gave dhature ka ark to Ruqu so that she can kill Ruqu's baby. That also can be considered as an attempt at suicide, because she was sure that after hearing this Jalal will do her "Sar Kalam" and she was so tired of all the difficulties that herself and her family was subjected to. She thought death would be a welcome change 😉

A thought just occurred to me. This is possibly Jodha's third attempt at suicide.

1. When she came to know she was getting married to Jalal, she took out a ring that presumably contained poison to kill herself.

2. When Jalal wanted her to leave Agra and her mother didn't want her to return home.

3. I believe Jodha is such a high-strung person, she would have attempted suicide just on hearing Jalal's words of "ghrina" even if she didn't need to save his life.

Jalal will probably assign a special person to just keep tabs on her in future, esp every time they have a fight/MU. 😉

PS: Considering Jodha (and all her fans) feels so bad on hearing about Jalal's ghrina and rejection of her, she should ponder on how hurt Jalal should feel for her long period of ghrina and rejection (and not just on that night).

Well, she uses these heavy words "Kartavya", "Mitra", "PatniDharma" for her convenience, call it her ego or call it her fear of admitting to herself or to anyone else. Kartavya is such a hollow word when it comes to Jodha, if she is so much concerned about fulfilling her kartavya then why she din't forgive her father who as per her has betrayed her for the "very first time" wasn't it her kartavya to give him one more chance?, why she din't obey her husband when he came to claim his conjugal rights whom she does not ghrins anymore, wasn't it part of her PatniDharma ?. here she conveniently modified the definition of Kartavya but this time seeing no option to save him from the clutches of VishKanya she prefers to swallow the poison when she sees death ready to swallow him, freeing herself and her feelings for him from the shackles of Kartavya. I feel it is her love for him which forced her to unmask the falsehood of kartavya. Now, post this drama, it totally depends upon how she frees herself completely from the grip of Kartavya. If she fails then this sacrifice means nothing!.

i agree
jodha will seriously consider ruqu before expressing her feelings

ruqu is a very important part of jodha jalal love story
she will remain till the end and will be given huge importance by both jalal and jodha

So where does the story go from here? Till yesterday people were bashing CVs for ruining Ruq's character. But yesterday the same folks were angry she had sidelined Jodha's sacrifice and Jalal was more worried for her.

If Jo continues to respect Ruq and keep silent behind a veil of duty, how will she ever confess to Jalal? How will Jalal learn her true feelings? Till then he will also not reveal his feelings. Again stalemate???

Maybe we have to go thru Ruq's insecurity track first at the end of which the three will form a cosy threesome. Only then love can be confessed 😕

Anyone willing to risk stretched imagination?

Would she snatch it and drink it anyway as she always wishes to establish the truth? Or would she just snatch the bowl and throw it away? So is it jalal's words that hurt her after all and push her to drink the poison?

Hi Sandhya

She won't drink poison for anyone else. Only for Jalal, not because he said those words or for her duty but because she has strong feelings for him and can't bear to see him die.

Arrey, Happy, Kabhi toh serious ho jao. 😉

Jodha has been and will always be The Heroine. I love her. But my heart goes to Jalal. Poor guy, whatever he does, he is criticised. Reminds me of that story of a man and his son and their donkey. U can't please all the people all the time
😭

Once Ruq had remarked to Jalal "ek mayan mein do talwarein nahin reh sakti". If she herself feels so, how do people expect Jalal to love and respect both equally, without appearing to favour one over the other?

Radhika I still feel Jodha will sacrifice and will not express her love thinking Ruqu loves Jalaal & she can't divide them... IF CVS have that sense they can handle the track very well, they don't need to make Ruqu negetive, she is a gray character and she loves Jalaal in her own way... To Jalaal Ruku will be his BF while Jodha is his lover + soulmate...

i am sure in this love traingle jalaal will be bashed.. 😆 Poor guy has to bear their wrath , once side JO sacrificing & other side Ruku bashing his . He had to make balance and to make them cool down, if he is confused Tho gaya .😆.. Poor jalal kaha phas gaya 😉
