He says, "Duryodhan is a very important character in Mahabharat which has interesting shades. He is the only one who wanted to fight and hence Mahabharat was a war. The show is turning out nicely. The best part is I can very well relate to Duryodhan as nature wise I am very similar in beliefs and behaviour. He is very human and emotional."

On being asked how is your experience of working with Siddharth Kumar Tewary, he says, "He is just too perfect with his work, he is actually eating, sleeping, working and living Mahabharat. This series comes 24 years after the legendary first rendition of the epic and has made its own unique space in the minds of the viewers. I feel blessed to be part of Mahabharat. Where ever I go people say look Duryodhan is there. In my hometown Jaipur also I have become known. A good show makes a hell lot of difference in one's career."

I always find it odd that Arpit Ranka says he is like Dhuryodhan in real life WITH PRIDE.

Maybe the CVs have told him Dhuryodhan is someone to aspire to be. You never know with CVs of Starbharat 🤪

Duryodhana has imperfections yet that doesn't mean he was outright evil, Arpit would be referring to the glory-worthy qualities in Duryodhana that earned him a place in heaven.

He earnt a place in heaven because he died fighting.

He will still have to be reborn again and again to repay his bad karma!

He had fully repaid all his Karma deeds in that life through suffering in war and death, which is why heaven was open to him.
