After thinking harder than I like to, I think I know why Jodha said 'Kartavya' before losing consciousness.
Kartavya = Being duty bound to do what needs to be done. ( as I understand it)
And this was exactly the need of the hour. This word was what snapped Jalal back from shock-land and made him focus on the fact that his rule and reign had been challenged and Jodha had done what needed to be done. Oh I do like this pragmatic Jodha.
To her, a wife's first duty is to protect her husband. Her second duty is to protect his honour. By unmasking Benazir, she also managed to stop Jalal's household from looking completely incompetent. I know, I know, ...no pedestal big enough for Jodha now. But such deeds do attract admiration. It wasn't entirely self-less. Protecting Jalal's honour was equal to honouring her own code of conduct. Jodha lives and dies by this. So that's why...
