No chemistry, no sparks! BORED!!

See, I kinda got bored last week with all the "I will make your life hell" because it's such a used and tried formula that it's getting stale now... No matter how much people try to convince themselves that this show is really different from others, it still follows the same concept of hate marriage and love-hate relationship... the girl is being tortured and isolated while people are scheming and plotting against her...

Hehe...U are not supposed to get chemistry right now...

I do like this show and I guess this was expected because you can't really have a love track so quickly in a serial and Aaliya doesn't really "hate" Zain yet since she still feels that she is somewhere responsible for this marriage (as she said on the wedding day to Ayat)... So, to actually get the ball rolling and the fire started, we need her to hate Zain too and understand tat nobody is supporting her apart from Chand Bi... Even though Usman loves her and all, he is just as easliy manipulated as Zain is... So he isn't really coming into any use... And Chand Bi doesn't hold any power in the house .. So Aaliya is basically on her own.. I think she needs to understand that first...

yes i know i understand... the only ray of hope that is keeping me hooked up is truth in front of Aliya... and after effects...

well i watch this show on and off...mainly 'off' relying on WUs mostly.This show was recommended to me after a friend caught the initial epis and thought that the leads not only looked good but had a 'spark' between them...however I'm yet to witness it.The female lead had spunk too but seems to have mellowed down quite a bit after reaching her sasural...so that's not helping matters either. if they show too much negativity from all quarters...as in all in laws and zain then what's left to cheer for in such a dreary atmosphere?? saas bahu dramas do fetch TRPs(unfortunately) so the makers here are serving a combination of kitchen politics and love/hate marriage right now in order to cater to both youth and middle age audience...but the TRPs don't look promising despite!!
