Veera tried to move backwards,as much as possible,but the wall behind her was not letting her budge..

Fear was choking at her throat,as she tried to push Karan off herself..

"Karan I'm warning you,let me go..Or else.."She turned her head away as fresh alcohol odour reached her nostrils,as Karan pushed closer.

"Or else..?What will you do or else..?"He sneered and laughed crazily,making Veera gasp out in shock.

This was not the Karan she knew,and she needed to..

Suddenly Veera stepped on his feet forcefully,which made him gasp out in pain,and instantly Veera started running away..

Breathless she had almost reached the terrace door,when Karan pulled her and locked her in his embrace forcefully..

"You'll have to pay a high price for this Veera!"He sneered,as his mouth came down on hers,and squirming Veera closed her eyes,trying to kick him off herself all at the same time..

His mouth never came on hers,and suddenly cold air hit her face making her gasp out and open her eyes in astonishment..

She opened her eyes wide,and found Karan lying on the floor with blood oozing from his nose..

Slowly she turned to face the person,who had caused it..He stood like a statue,his eyes two dark abyss of fire,his jaw clenched tightly,as he breathed heavily and stared down at Karan..

Veera inhaled a shuddering breath..She could see all the hatred in those deep dark eyes..The same eyes that only sometime ago had a different expression in them for her..She never knew..

A soft gasp escaped her lip,as suddenly he moved and strode towards Karan,who was still reeling from the blow he had been hit with..

Shocked Veera watched as he grabbed hold of Karan's collar,and dragged him up..

Karan tried to set himself free..

But before he could try harder,Baldev hit him a hard punch on his jaw,almost overturning his head..And then another one,that made a nasty sound of something cracking..And as he stood reeling,Baldev hit him hard on his stomach,making all his breath leave his body in a whoosh..

Then he again grabbed him by the collar,and glared into Karan's bleeding face..Rage emanated from every part of his body,and his nostrils flared,he stared at Karan with all the loathing in the world..

Karan tried to pacify him..

"Look Baldev,we are friends..It's between me and Veera..And anyways you hate her too,so why destroy our relation for a loose charactered person like Vee-.."

"EK AUR BAAR AGAR TU MERI VEERA KI NAAM APNI ISS GANDI ZABAN SE LEE NA!!!TO RAB JI KI KASAM ABHI KE ABHI TERA ZABAN KHICH LUNGA!!!

[IF ONE MORE TIME YOU TAKE MY VEERA'S NAME WITH YOUR DIRTY MOUTH!!SWEAR BY GOD I'LL TEAR YOUR TONGUE OUT RIGHT NOW!!!]"He snarled out surprising both Karan and Veera at the same time..

"AUR DOST?!!TUJH JAISE KAMINE SE ISS BALDEV SINGH KABHI DUSHMANI BHI NA NIBHAE!!!

[AND FRIEND?!!BALDEV SINGH DOESN'T EVEN KEEP ENMITY WITH SCOUNDRELS LIKE YOU!!!] "He snarled out,shaking Karan at the same time..

Veera could feel that Baldev was losing his temper fast,and tried to calm him..

"Baldev.."She called out hesitantly.

"Oye chup oye!!!Tujhse to mainu baad mein nipatna hai!Chupchap khari reh uththe!

[Keep quiet!!!I'll take care of you later!Now quietly stand over there!]"He snarled out at Veera without taking his eyes off Karan,completely surprising her into stillness..

Baldev suddenly raised his fist again letting out a large scream of rage,and Veera was scared he would seriously murder Karan at that moment..

Just when his hand was about the place the lethal blow,he stopped..Breathing heavily..

Baldev suddenly moved his hand,and twisted Karan's arm with a loud snap instead..

Karan shouted out in pain,as Baldev looked close at his face,with clenched jaw,and seethed out..

"If you ever dare to touch her or come near her,even once for a second, I'll bury you alive then and there,that very second..!!!"

With these words he threw the now broken and injured Karan at a corner,with another large scream,and turned to leave..

As he slowly turned,his eyes now raked Veera from top to bottom with extreme rage,making Veera take an involuntary step backwards in fear..

She had never seen him this angry in her entire life..

Slowly he strolled upto her,and Veera moved backwards,suddenly uneasy at the rage on his face..

He got really close to her,his nostrils flared,and his jaw clenched tight,and his eyes almost burning her alive with the rage in them..

Just when Veera thought he was going to hurt her too,he suddenly grabbed her hand tightly,and strode out of the terrace,and down to where his jeep was parked,pulling Veera roughly along with him..

"Baldev tu kya-.."He turned and covered her mouth with his hand instantly..

"CHUP!!!EKDUM CHUP!!EK AWAAZ BHI NAHI NIKALNA CHAHIYE!!!

[SHUT UP!!!JUST SHUT UP!!I DON'T WANT YO HEAR A SINGLE SOUND!!!]"He glared down at her,making Veera gulp down a knot of fear.

They had almost reached the car when Veera slipped suddenly,not able to keep up with him in her heavy lehenga.

Cursing loudly he turned and picked her up in his arms,and strode towards the car with her in his arms..Veera's gasp of surprise was completely unnoticed him,as he seethed with burning fury..

Finally he dumped Veera into the passenger seat of his jeep,and strode to the driving seat..

Veera looked at his dark angry profile,and gulped down another knot of uneasy fear,as he turned the ignition,changed gear and got the jeep moving with a loud screech..

Rabji Mainu bacha lena please!

[God please protect me!]She prayed in fear as the jeep sped at an uncomfortable high speed making her hold on to the dashboard in extreme fear..

"BALDEV!SLOW DOWN PLEASE!"She screamed out finally,when he took another huge turning at high speed,the car almost falling off the road..

He screeched to a halt by the road suddenly,in the middle of nowhere,and sat breathing heavily..

His whole body still emanating extreme fury..

Then slowly he turned to face her,and as Veera's wide eyes met his angry ones,she inhaled a long staggering breath..A knot of tension rose in her throat,as she became sure this was surely not one of her lucky days..
