For once it would be nice to see a strong independent women like Indira from Hitler Didi. Who isn't afraid of anything and is willing to go her way to help people. Seriously Ekta come on 😡

Why are they showing women as weak ones in most dramas? Like seriously can't Ms Ekta kapoor have one show that shows women being independent, strong, fearless women. This is just telling people oh it's okay, this happens to majority of women. NO ITS NOT OKAY. Cause of men like Raunak, women are scared and constantly abused. Like who seriously smiles saying "oh meine to apni suhan raat Mansi ke saath kiya. I raped her" I really hope kinnari does something to help Mansi out. It seems like kinnari and Mansi will send Raunak to the police and get him kicked out of the house.

Thanks TM. Great post.
Yes, many shows have weak women as central characters. And rona-dhona is their chief characteristic. But in the end in some ways they are also passive aggressive, getting things done by others with the force of their rona-dhona.I do not know if we are allowed to mention other shows here, but recently I have found three shows with strong women characters on another channel who stand up for their dignity and rights. It is about time other Indian TV shows take that direction and portray strong women as in fact, many women in India are found in reality now.

Which shows you saw strong female leads? :)
I am not sure I can mention their names. I do not know all the thread rules. They are in early stage. I hope they don't ruin them later.
