yes even she is not saint too...but she cared for him always and trusted him many times...never let others insult him, nor bad mouthed about of him, nor discussed about her personnel equation with jalla to anyone...

3rd option defiantly he needs punishment and jodha must teach him a lesson and not forgive him easily according to my opinion he should face the same insult and same pain which he give 2 jodha.

I think Ruqs will release him from his word. Either Jalal will be carrying Jo to his room and Ruqs will tell him it is okay to step into Jo's hojra or Ruqs will see Jalal pining for a glimpse of Jo pacing outside the hojra but not going in and Ruqs will be forced to release him from his promise.

As for Jodha, she should certainly cover her face in front of Jalal and tell him why so the salt is rubbed in deep into his wound of guilt and he never dares as a husband to insult her in public (DEK) or speak rudely in front of Ruqs and MA. Befitting would be (forget that he is Shehenshah) that he admit in DEK that he has a heart and it belongs to his Jodha Begum. If he can announce the private goings on in the bedroom between husband and wife in an open court, least he could do is admit he is head over heels in love with his wife!! Who cares for logic? There was no logic in him publicizing what was between him and Jo in the first place. Also, announce that he is building her a separate palace as reward for saving his life and as precaution that she will never be belittled in the harem anymore.
Will think of some more stuff he has to do before she forgives him. Forgive him she will as they did go on to have Salim but I hope she leads Jalal a merry dance before giving in to him.
