Where Jodha moved towards the bed, Ruqaiya went and closed the door.
Jodha was about to sit down on bed, when Ruqaiya came and pushed her. Jodha straight fell on the bed with a thud.
Jodha was EXTREMELY SHOCKED.. What happened suddenly? Her mind was not even ready to comprehend the things..
Jodha gave a little cry and got up again.. SHe looked at Ruqaiya whose eyes were red with anger..
Jodha with a furious tone - Ye kya badtameezi hai Ruqaiya Begum..
Ruqaiya gave out a psychotic laughter and took out the sharp dagger from her dress.. Jodha was dumbstruck and numbed to see the dagger in her hands..
She could not believe, that Ruqaiya was doing all this.. A tear of shock rolled down Jodha's eyes..
Ruqaiya looked at Jodha with killer eyes..whereas Jodha looked furious yet helpless..
Part 46 --
Ruqaiya pointed the dagger at Jodha and warned her in a really wicked and angry tone - Agar zara bhi awaaz kari na Jodha Begum, to ye khanjar (dagger) seedha aapke andar hoga..
aur aapka ye paap..jo aapki kokh mei hai, vo aapke saath saath allah ko pyara ho jayega.. (She again burst out into a psychotic laughter).
Jodha was numbed to her core after witnessing this sudden change in Ruqaiya. She just could not believe, that Ruqaiya who had been so friendly with her from so many days, could turn so devil within seconds..But her wits had not left her yet.. She could not tolerate what Ruqaiya just said.
She moved forward towards Ruqaiya and slapped her tight and due to slap, Ruqaiya was pushed quite back.
Jodha (with tears of anger) roared - Aapki himmat kaise hui humare aur Shahenshah ke bache ko paap kehne ki.. Aur ye kya naya roop hai aapka..Agar dobara humare bache ke khilaaf ek
shabd bhi bola, to aapke liye acha nahi hoga..
Ruqaiya was flabbergasted with the slap. She could not believe that Jodha could slap her even at this point of time. After the slap, she completely lost the little bit calm that was remaining in her.
She came forward towards Jodha, raised the dagger and gave a deep cut on her hand. Jodha winced in pain and tears were out of her eyes in no seconds..Jodha was furious..
Jodha shouted for help - Humein bachaiye...Koi hai..(Her voice was very stammering one..Her hand was paining beyond words..and blood was oozing out continuously).
Jodha got up tried to push Ruqaiya using her warrior skills but Ruqaiya was clever enough to shut her up with the sharp dagger.. Jodha was helpless. She would have risked her life and she was not at all afraid of death..But She could not undertake any risk at this point of time, for she was going to be a mother..
Ruqaiya - Aap humara kuch nahi bigaad sakti..kitna bhi chilla lijiye.. koi nahi aayega.. aur aaj to hum aapko aur aapke is paap ko is duniya se ruqsati (farewell) dilwa kar hi rahenge.
The Guards outside the room heard Jodha's scream and they were alarmed.. But what could they do.. There was no stranger inside.. Only the two begums..
They were in big dilemma... One of the guards went to call Hameeda Bano.. As the guard proceeded for Hameeda's room, He saw Shahenshah returning back with his group of ministers..
He was extremely relieved to see the King back at night itself.. He immediately went to Jalal and narrated the whole thing, from Ruqaiya entering into the room to Jodha's scream..
Jalal was SHOCKED and his fist clenched in anger..

Jodha stumbled back on bed for she could not bear the pain of her hand..
Jodha asked her with disgust - Ye aap ko kya ho gaya hai Ruqaiya Begum..Kyon itni ghrinit baatein kar rahi hain.. Aapko andaza bhi hai kya? Ke jab Shahenshah ko pata chalega ki aapne
humein aur humare bache ko chot pahuchane ki koshish ki..tab vo aapka kya haal karenge.. (Jodha looked at her with immense disgust and anger..)
Ruqaiya could not control but laughed out loud.. SHe had an evil smile on her face, which suddenly turned into that of extreme anger..
Ruqaiya - Hun! Ek waqt aisa tha Jodha Begum , jab Shahenshah sirf humare the..sirf humare.. Hum unke dimaag par huqumat karte the.. Vo sirf aur sirf humare saath waqt bitate the.. Lekin..
Lekin jab se aap unki zindagi mein aayin hain..tabse humari to jaise koi keemat hi nahi reh gayi hai.. Aapki himmat kaise hui Shahenshah ko humse door karne ki,..
Aapki himmat kaise hui unke itne kareeb aane ki, ke aap unke bache ki maa bane wali hain.. (With each word Ruqaiya spoke, her voice was roaring higher..and Jodha was shocked to her core..)
Ruqaiya continued with angry tone - Aapki wajah se Shahenshah humare saath waqt nahi bitate.. Jo Auhda humein milna chahiye tha..vo aapko mil gaya.. Hum sirf Begum-e-Khaas bankar reh gaye..
Aur aap Mallika-e-Hind ban gayin.. Kya aapko zara bhi andaaza hai ke aapke wajah se humein kitni ruswaayi(insult) jhelni padi.. Jalal ne aapke liye humein waqt waqt par daata.. Ab humari aukaat ek baandhi jaisi ho gayi hai..
Jalal ka jo sapna hum pura karna chahte the, aapne vo haq bhi humse cheen liya.. Mariam-uz-Zamani bana chahte the hum..(and then she paused a bit and continued)..Aur vo banke hi rahenge...
Kyonki aap aur aapka bacha aaj is duniya se humesha humesha ke liye rawaana ho jayenge...
Jodha's hand was bleeding, but more than that, her heart was bleeding after hearing these words from Ruqaiya..She could not believe that THIS WAS ACTUAL RUQAIYA BEGUM..
Jodha said with a digusting and sarcastic tone - Humein yakeen nahi hota ke jo hum dekh rahe hain..kya wahi sach hai.. Kitni nirlaj (shameless) aurat hain aap.. To ye hai aapki asliyat..
Hum is duniya se jaayein na jaayein..Shahenshah zaroor aapko aisi saza denge ki aapki rooh kaanp jayegi.. Aur aapke jaisi aurat kabhi kisi se pyaar nahi kar sakti..na hi kisi ka pyaar paa sakti hai..
Kyonki aapko sirf auhde aur taaqat ki bhookh hai..Aapke paas dil to hai hi nahi.. Sharm aati hai humein aapko dekhne mei..Hasi aati hai aapki dasha par.. Pehle humein bhi bura lagta tha ki
Shahenshah dusri begumon ke saath zyada waqt nahi bitate the..aur ab bhi lagta hai..Lekin is baat ki khushi hai..ke vo aapke paas nahi gaye.. Kyonki aapka asli chehra dekhne ke baad Hum
Shahenshah ko kabhi aapke paas nahi jaane dete..aur na jaane denge..
Ruqaiya's anger reached its peak. She slapped Jodha and said - Chup reh naamurad.. Abhi ke abhi ye khanjhar ghop dungi.. (I'll stab you right away if you don't keep quiet)..
Ab bahut hua.. Jaane se pehle ek baat batadein hum..Ki jab hum sab Ajmer shareef jaa rahe the..to raaste mein humnein keval naatak kiya tha..Humein kisi saanp ne nahi dasa tha..
Sab keval dhong tha.. Shahenshah ko apne paas bulane ka..Aur dekho na..Shahenshah humare saath soye bhi..Ye bhi suno Ki Ajmer Shareef ke Dargaah ki seedhiyon se dhakka..humnein hi tumhe diya tha..
Tum mar kyon nahi gayin usi waqt.. Agar tab mar jaatin to aaj ye sab nahi karna padta humein...
Jodha was dumbstruck and speechless after listening to this.. Her heart skipped a bit.. "This Woman is beyond shamelessness and humanity"..She could only conclude.. She had had enough of Ruqaiya..
Jodha got up from the bed and started walking towards the door. It was extremely painful for her to witness such a cruel and heartless woman in front of her..
Ruqaiya grabbed her bleeding hand, pinched it and pushed her back to the wall.. SHe said - Kahan chaldin Jodha Begum..Tumhe kya lagta hai..ke ye sab batane ke baad hum tumhe yu hin
jaane denge.. Hahahaa...Abhi to tumhe tadpa tapda ke maarenge hum..
Jodha could not bear the jerk.. Her hand was paining.. She didn't have any energy left to shout or to scream..
Ruqaiya raised the dagger to finally stab the woman whom she hated the most..Jodha closed her eyes in anticipation...when the DOOR OF THE ROOM BANGED OPEN!!!!!!!
Both Ruqaiya and Jodha were shocked.. Both looked at the door and there HE STOOD.. His Shamsheer in his hand and his eyes RED HOT and TEARY!
Time stood still for all three of them.. Jalal was shocked and angry beyond description. As soon as the guard had informed him about Jodha's scream, he immediately ran to the room and found it locked form inside.. As he leaned closer, he could hear the talks between two of his Begums..
He could make out that Ruqaiya was torturing his beloved wife and he was flabbergasted to his very core.. He had heard every truth from that so called childhood friend of his..
How she was jealous of Jodha and what all she had done to harm her till date.. He could not gulp this down immediatelty..
As he realised that it was the time to save Jodha, he banged open the door and the sight he witnessed sent shivers down his spine and gave him goosebumps..
Ruqaiya held a dagger, from which the blood dripped dropwise.. And in no time, he knew it was Jodha's blood. His anger would burst out his head, he thought!
He saw a weak crying Jodha leaning against a wall at the mercy of this cruel witch who held the dagger.. He knew that his beloved was a fierce Rajput warrior, but her condition at present could not help her much..
Jodha's face lit-up with a smile.. with stumbling feet, She ran to him and hugged him... She was crying profusely and she dug her head deep in his chest.. She felt so so relieved to see her Shahenshah in front of herself..
She was so happy to see him all safe and sound.. She had been so worried for him.. She hugged him very tight..
Jalal's red hot eyes were continuously on Ruqaiya.. He clenched his Shamsheer.. Ruqaiya was scared to hell..She now knew, that her end was near..She could see the hell burning in Jalal's eyes.
She wanted to run away as soon as possible.. She also knew that she would be caught anyway..So why not kill the person whom she had come to kill..
Jalal embraced Jodha with his other hand and kissed her on her forehead.. He tightly hugged her and comforted her..Her tears fell down on Jalal's hand..
Both Jodha and Jalal were shocked.. Jodha dropped down on ground in astonishment...
Jalal shouted at his might, his voice roaring in the whole palace.. - Jaldi Hakim Sahiba ko bulao..
In no time, Hakims were in the room and half the palace stood out of the room. Hameeda Bano also came inside and was alarmed to see the scene there..
Jalal was in same position till now..His one hand had the Shamsheer and the other, the dagger. Ruqaiya stood in front of him, all cold and freezed..
Jalal asked the Hakims to start treating Jodha begum.. Due to the deep wound in her hand, Jodha slowly passed out.
Hakims were worried, So was Hameeda..
Jodha was made to lay on the bed and her wound was treated with utmost care and perfection.. Hameeda was worried to her core.. again, she had left Jodha alone and this was a deadly consequence.. "What would have happened if Jalal didn't come on time".. She thought!
She could not believe that Ruqaiya stooped to such low level so as to kill Jodha.. She leaped towards Ruqaiya and raised her hand to slap her, when Jalal asked her to stop..
"Nahi Ammi-jaan.. Is gustakh ko haath mat lagaiye.." he roared.. his voice made Ruqaiya shiver with fear.. "Aap..aap sirf Jodha ka khayal rakhiye"...his voice being teary.
Jalal had had enough of this woman.. Once she had tried to defame Jodha by putting allegations on her..but today she had crossed all his limits.. He didn't even want to ask anything to her..for She deserved nothing..not even his hatred..
He threw his Shamsheer and the dagger on the ground.. He clutched Ruqaiya's one hand, and slapped her tight on her cheek.. Ruqaiya would have been pushed far away with this slap,
but Jalal's grip on her hand was strong enough to let her stand straight..
The sound of slap was the loudest ever, anyone had heard.. A big silence followed the slap.. Ruqaiya's eyes were downcasted and Jalal frowned at her..
He pulled out of the room and pushed her with all his might.. Ruqaiya stumbled and fell on the ground, outside the room..
Jalal came outside and asked Hameeda to close the door..and take care of Jodha..
"Today, this wicked Ruqaiya needed her treatment " he determined..!!
