Thank you all for your encouraging feedback! It's such an effort I know, to have to download the songs of all participants, then listen to them one and by one and also put in your feedback. Hats off to you guys! 👏

And now comes the regional round, where I guess my mentor and I will have another struggle to get me the right song AND have me sing 'propahhly' 😕

I wanted to sing in a language, I grew up on. But my mentor would rather have me sing in my native language Ab kar lo baat Sahana-ji, mujhe woh 'lingo-age' likhna, padhna nahin aataa, ab gaaoon bhi to kaise? 😭 😭 😭 Wish someone could do the dubbing for me

Ore baba go! Nrityotsava?😕 She-ta aabaar ki? Is it some dance festival? Adi 'ole chap' - oops I mean 'Oh Knowledge Giver', my dance is worse than my song! Besides, this is a singing contest? Or isn't it? Again am totally 'kaanfused'! 😕

Not too sure if my mentor would call this a 'jugalbandi'. More like 'ladaai-dandi'! 😛

Oh my god! Ha ha ha ha!!!!! 😆 Sorry, sorry Adi... but couldn't stop myself, 'coz I couldn't understand anything from those words - except when my head went 'ping-ding-dong', when I read that last but one word. I think I know that word. And me-thinks it is some sort of a gaali 😆 😆 Boy, I'd LOVE to hear this song NOW!! 😆 In fact >>> 🤣 🤣

Hmmm... seems Champa in Bengali means raw chillies 😛 [Didn't know that till I read Adi's post....Will surprises ever cease! ] In which case this song is for a raw mirchi and how it was taken away from its mother, who sat and cried. Again 'kaanfused'! Thought this 'Champa' had 7 brothers. Why didn't these 7 come out and fight a really, really 'chilly hot' battle against the cannibals?😕 Arre haan! Remembered, these 7 were always sleeping and always had to be 'jagaao-ed'. No wonder they didn't protest 😛

I guess I don't make any sense to most people here Bhai kya kare, kuch Bangaali gaane hain hi aisi 😉

But am really, really curious to know what Kannada song Adi had in mind. It seemed more Latin than Kannada to me 😆 Adi bhaai aapne gaane to sirf 'going right' karke chod diya tha 😆
