Ther r 3 cases of women bringing up children with absentee fathers in PR .
Archana . Here the father did not sire the child or even abandon it , unlike Arjun , he actually took his kids with him . Neither was Purvi herself adopted by him and then left behind . Yet Archana told her Manav was her father and to her credit , did not malign Manav as Purvi grew up thinking he was wonderful and thirsting to be with him .Ovi did the same thing . Here Arjun was really the biological father and fully knew about Pia's existence . Yet he made no efforts to ever be with her . But Ovi kept her personal expectations aside and told the child that her father was a wondrful man and loved her .Purvi , oddly , had been raised by Archana who had told her fairy tales of an absentee dad , but told Pari that Arjun was a morally debauched man . Each time Pari asked Purvi , u know na what he did with us ? U know na how bad he is ? So bad was her opinion of Arjun that even Archana failed to rectify it with her explanations . It was not mere anger at never being sought out by him , it stemmed from what she believed he had done to her mother . And that she had heard only and only from her mother , who did not really stop and think that her equation with Arjun the lover was different than the equation Pari would have with her biological dad , that betrayed or not it had NOTHING to do with Pari Arjun relation , that it was independent of all this . She dragged Pari in this muck and made her an unhappy child filled with hate .Ovi Teju had hated Archana but Archana had REALLY done a false case on their father . She had truly lost their little brother by pampering her loony sister . Arjun had done no such thing , he had not betrayed Purvi nor had he stopped loving Pari .
