Here an FF on the leap. It's inspired by all the forum members. Hope you like it. I wished the story will take this way.
Part 1
"One accident took Meera away from them." That was what Rashi said. "No, Rashi. It happened because of Gopi's carelessness." You were right, Maaji. I shouldn't have brought Meera near the cliff. Tears roll down from her eyes.
"Maa.." "Ma Ma.." a 5 years old girl...Rathika is her name. Rathika Shah, a daughter of Gopi Shah. Yes, you heard it right. There is no Gopi Modi anymore. "Ji, baby." Gopi snapped from her thought. "Maa, are you listening?...I just paint this Kanaji picture. Is it beautiful?" The little girl was smiling while showing the picture to her mother. Gopi smiled "My Rathika is so clever. Of course, it's beautiful, dear." Mother and daughter hug each others for a long time. In her mom embrace, she feels safe. Her mom is the only person that love her the most in this world. Rathika is the only hope she has in her life, the only one that made her satisfied. She is her cherished one. If they know her...they will love her just as much as i do...She looks just like Ahemji...If only Meera were...She couldn't control it but she has to be strong for her daughter...
"Papa, when are you coming home? i am waiting for you." "yeah, Meera...papa will go home soon. Don't be stubborn...okay? Have lunch with your brothers first." "Tolu..Molu...what are you doing? It's a picture of Maa and Papa...Don't..." "Hey, Tolu, an airplane paper..ok?" "Bingo...haha" "Don't fold it..." Ahem hung the phone since Meera was not talking to him anymore. She was with her brothers.
Ahem heard everything. He brought a picture of him, Meera and Gopi. If only Gopi were here, they would be a perfect family. He was so wrong to blame her for everything.
====Flashback====
2 weeks after the accident.
"Mr Modi, we have found your daughter. An old couple brought her to the police station when they heard about the announcement on Radio. The couple had seen her..."
Ahem fell on his knee..."Mom..They found Meera. She is alive." Everyone was smiling but Radha eyes were full of anger. They all were going to the police station to get Meera. Alone in her room "Why? Why did she survive? My plan was perfect. That kid Meera has to die. Gopi, you deserve more than this..."
Koki was in shocked. She came to ask Radha to go with them to get Meera. She couldn't believe what Radha said...My Gopi vau..Why did i blame her?...
====End of Flashback=====
After the truth came out, Radha was thrown out of the house. Even after 6 years has passed, Mom is still in sorrow. But i am the one who to be blamed for Gopi left Modi Bhavan. I should have comfort her...I should have stood by her. Gopi, Where are you? I need you to see our Meera and to take care of our Meera. He hugged the picture of them to his heart.
Someone wearing a white suit tap him on his shoulders.
"Bhai...You are hugging this picture again." He sighed "I hope Bhabi knows that we are so sorry for what happened. Do you have any news about her?"
"No, Jigar. I tried many times. But no use." Ahem replied.
"Bhai...we should go home now. I think they are waiting for us."
====Modi Bhavan====
Today is Pappu's birthday. Kinjal and Dhawal decided to celebrate their son's birthday in Modi's house. Modi Bhavan has been too quiet since that accident. There is no sound of Aarti singing by Gopi. Tolu-Molu and Meera are the ones who brought hope to the Modi. Dhaval and Kinjal's business is a success. Though they are not rich but they have enough to live without worry. Urmi and Jithu are still living with them. There are always show down between Urmi and Kinjal but these two always made up at the end. Madhu and her husband also live with Kinjal. They cut all tie with Radha. They are living for Meera only and the hope that Gopi will return to her rightful place one day.
"Tolu-Molu...stop running and come here. You have to be ready for your brother's birthday." Rashi shouted to her twins. They ran and hide behind Koki dadi. Kakiji is not Kakiji that she knew. She never scold her even once since Gopi left. She has never seen her smiled for a long time. Though she is happy that she will take care of Modi Bhavan but she also miss Gopi. The house is not the same without her. Every time, see saw Meera's face, she reminds her of Gopi. Meera looks really like Gopi but her personality is just like Ahem jiju, stubborn, smart, but considerate. Though she is too stubborn sometimes but Rashi couldn't bring her hand to hit the little girl. She is the only girl in the house and Meera is the one who could make Rashi dance to her tune just like when she made Rashi danced in the past to pacify her.
Ahem jiju and Jigarji will be going to Bhopal for the school construction this Saturday. I should ask Jigarji to stay here and let Ahemjiju go alone. He needs some space and one more thing, i need to go shopping with jigarji that day. It's been a long time since she went for shopping. Rashi thought and smiled to herself...
====In Bhopal====
Rathika is painting picture with the rest of the kids with Gopi. Gopi secretly left Modi Bhavan and started a new life in Bhopal. She worked in a restaurant and rent a room living until she gave birth to her daughter. She was a cook but later she got a scholarship and learnt to become a kindergarten teacher. She has been working in this school 2 years already. Every kids love her.
The bell rings and parents came to pick up their kids one by one. The mother daughter duo walk hand in hand on the pavement from school to their house. Rathika saw a puppy running across the street and she ran after him. She picked up the puppy. Gopi screamed "Rathika!" when she saw a car passing by and almost hit her daughter. Rathika was too scared..All she said was "Maa" and she fainted on the street.
Gopi rushed to her daughter and hug her while crying. The crowd surrounding her. A man came out of the car and rushed to the kid and the mother. "Is she okay?" the man said in shock.
"Gopi!" Ahem froze. He doesn't believe that he found his Gopi at this situation. Who is this little girl?
"Ahemji!" Gopi can't believe her eyes. She wanted to rush out of the scene, out of Ahem's sight but she was scared about her kid's safety.
"You should bring your daughter to the hospital...though she didn't get hit but she was too shocked i think.." said an old lady who witnessed the incident.
"Gopi...Take her to my car. We should bring her to the hospital.." said Ahem. Gopi didn't think of anything. Ahem carries the little girl on his arm and brought her to the car. Gopi followed him. She kept crying and holding her Rathika. "Please be okay, Rathika. Maa is here." Ahem doesn't dare to ask her a question. He kept looking at his Gopi and the kid.
He thought to himself " Is she Gopi's daughter? Did Gopi get married again?" But why her name is Rathika?"
====Flashback====
"Gopi...i really want to have another daughter. i want Meera to have sibling..."' Ahem said happily while Gopi was arranging the clothes in the cupboard. She smiled...Ahem continued "This time i will name her myself... Rathika...How about this name, Gopi?...It's a beautiful name.." Ahem keep repeating this name again and again to Gopi while Gopi smiled and thought to herself. "Of course Ahemji, if we have a daughter this time, we will name her as you wish."
====End of Flashback====
"Is she my kid?" Ahem thought. He wants to hug them immediately and said sorry to them but he doesn't dare. He has to make sure that he will win their hearts back...
