I have heard that they are making another Amar Akbar Anthony - now that if well made shouldnt be bad.

the new Don ( I am with u Maya and QT) i rpeferd to the old one. The SRK Devdas was too glossy and the essence of pain and love got buried somehwere in the larger than life sets and Paro and Chandramukhi dancing together was taking it a bit too far...

I definiltely aint looking forward to Ramu's Sholay and motehr India and Mughle Azam , i agree, are too sacred to be touched!

Someone should do a Ram aur Shayam ( Dillip Kumar in the original) with SRK ! 😛

i think remakes work where the story is good enough and doesnt require a lot of directional brilliance... Moment direction takes over it becomes tough.. take for eg... Chalbaaz was as good or even better than Seeta&Geeta.....

Somebody mentioned Mother india from some other movie aurat but if both are by the same director thats not a remake.. He felt better actors could do better justice....

Don had good story line and good direction... Farhan akhtar made a messy clone...Don needs a veri good actor...to act in totally opposite roles, SRK doesnt come close... People liked Devdas because the story was quite good which the actor and director were messing pretty bad......sholay has story, direction and performance i still think RGV is going to show off his directional brilliance against all odds... except for amitabh he scares me with his casting i hope its not total miscasting... Amitabh is universally good actor in any role.... he is like the superlative....of course including Dilip kumar who acting abilties were as superior... take for eg.. Ganga jamuna of Dilip kumar and Deewar are at teh same level....in terms of performance.... Great actors have great leagues...... we dont have anyone who can fall even close to that today.. Hrithik is a good actor so is Ajay devgan, abhishek......rani... its like there is more body no soul in their acting so remakes flop more beacause of substandrd actorss.... still have good directors like SLB, RGV, AC, PJ.......
