Arti gets out of bed and comes upto yash to wish him a good mornign and also thanks him for the beautiful surprise of decorating their room.He sys he wants her first diwali,then corrects saying their first diwali to be special.When she is still not satisfied,he adds that in the comign years,he would put in more effort than the previous year in making diwali special for her. They then go on to talk about bursting firecrackers.while arti is enthusiatically talking about them faer is written all over yash's face.When arti asks him about it,he denies and acts all brave that he is not scared despite arti saying its showing on his face.But he keeps defending himself saying he would prove his fearlessness in the evening.He scurries off from there leaving arti in splits of laughter.
Shobha, making rangoli, is interrupted by dubeyji who gives her the phone with yash on the other side.He wishes her on diwali and invites them over for dinner at their house.she tries to wriggle out of it but yash forces them saying that he would be angry at them otherwise,saying he learnt that trick of emotional blackmail from arti.shobha agrees.Yash says they would be waiting for them.
Dubeyji denies to go with her and asks her to go alone to arti's place,since after years of spendign diwali alone in the darkness of the absence of his son,this year prashant's presence alone would brighten up his heart.but prashant who is overhearing them,asks them to go since arti has doen a lot for them and especially him therefore for her happiness they should go.And as it is,he makes an excuse that he would be going out with his friends who he hasnt met for a long time to catch up on old times.They agree to go.
The scindia mansion is lit with lights for diwali.They are doing the lashmi puja in the middle of which the dubeys too arrive.they do the arti one by one,wherein buaji gets a little miffed when dubeys do the arti when she progressed for it but doesnt say anything and does it after them.After the puja,gayatri shows everybody the HOLY LIGHT and blesses them.After it,Yash takes arti out despite her protests of lots of work to be done to the door to the courtyard.Yash opens the door to reveal,HAPPY DIWALI,written in lit diyas.arti is thrilled to watch this.yash wishes her a happy diwali.She too wishes him and thanks him for the beautiful surprise.Just then,yash is taken aback by the sound of the firecrackers.Arti tells him that he cant back out now as he had promised earlier and takes him to the place where the kids are bursting crackers with prateik and pari.arti coaxes yash to light a SUTLI bomb.With great courage,he takes it and examines it in his hand.Motivated by ansh too asking him to do it for him and to prove his point,he takes an incense stick and tries to light the bomb with it,much to everybody's amusement.Arti sensing his fear,after he mentions thaat this bomb is probably wet and wouldnt go off,scares him by saying that she sees a spark sparking him instaed to run miles away from there with his ears covered with his hand making a fool of himself in front of the family.yash is embarassed.While ansh is looking around despeartely for his ANAAR firecracker along with arti helping himsearch,yash senses this oppurtunity to escape,before anybody cn stop him,he leaves from there on the pretext of getting ansh more firecrackers again to the amusement of arti.
Prashant who watching families celebrating diwali,wishes that he could be spending diwali with ansh,collides in to yash who asks him the reason for him being alone today and then deduces that his wife has still not come back to him.prashant comments that not everybody's luck is as good as his.yash recommends sharing their luck for the day and to consider his family as prashant's own,he invites him over for to his house to celebrate diwali with them.Prashant is shocked to hear this.Teh screen freezes on his face.
