Neha Bamb who plays the character of Mahi in Maayka …Saath Zindagi Bhar Ka is getting married to her college friend, Rishi Zaveri. Last week the couple had a traditional roka to symbolize their union.
"Last week my roka took place at my place. They gave me gifts which we call as shagun. As a part of the shagun, they gave me two sarees - one is baby pink and the other peacock blue in colour as well as a necklace and other jewellery. They also gave me some cosmetics in shagun thali," says the actress.
Neha told us that she met Rishi during her college days at Poddar in Mumbai. "Rishi has completed his Bachelor in Management Studies from London as well as a Jewellery Assortment course. Now he is working in a jewellery company. But I don't want to reveal too many things about him," says Neha.
She adds that although their marriage is fixed her groom hasn't yet proposed to her. She explains, "We fell in love when I was in the first year at college and he was in the last year. But neither of us proposed to each other. Even now after fixing our marriage I'm hoping that he will do it. I guess he is hunting for the right ring and maybe then he will propose. The marriage and engagement will be in December. The date of the marriage will be after the 10 December while the engagement will be few days before that."
Neha debuted in television with Balaji's show Kaisa Yeh Pyar Hai as Kripa. Although she gained popularity in it, the show went off air last year and after six months she is now back on television in Maayka.
