Read and replied to all of you...before updating the next chapter would like to clearout one thing..

This story is not about the story between Sameer and Ayesha...
They do share a relation,might be an intimate one at times,but its not a regualar love story,😉
so please dont expect any type of cheesy romance between them...😛

So,those who think its not worth reading without the couple romancing..you can stop reading,i wont mind,

Just Do Inform Me so that i dont pm and bother you...

For the rest who wanna read here is the update..

CHAPTER 20

Chotu recieved a call from his informer that Anurag will be leaving for dubai in two days.

Arjun and rathore planned to capture Anurag before he left but Dixit called to inform that Vinod's garage is ablaze and vinod's half burnt dead body is found inside.

Arjun and Rathore visited Vinod's garage.Vinod was taken to the hospital.Vinod was in a critical situation and was being treated in the ICU.Two constables were kept gaurding outside the ICU and some police-officers-incharge were checking onto the security from outside the hospital.

Dixit met Arjun outside the garage and informed them about the status.The Firemen had done their work and smoke was misting the whole area,even some burnt ashes were sparkling fire at times.Arjun,Rathore and Dixit went in leaving Shree and Chotu to check outside.

'the owner of the grocery shop at the other end of the road suddenly noticed some dense smoke coming out and came here to check.Thats when he found the area ablaze.He called the fire brigade and informed us.We came her instantly and found the firemen had rescued Vinod who was badly burnt but breathing,'Dixit informed them,

'Aag kaise lagi kuch pata chala?'Rathore asked him,

'shayad short circuit.'

'Nehi.Aag lagayi gayi hai Rathore,'

Arjun was looking around for clues.He was looking into the burnt piece of wood on the ground and got the smell of petrol.He showed it to Rathore and they looked around the things.It seemed petrol was sprinked all over the place and then it was set into fire.

'how did Vinod not know about anything?'Dixit asked,

'May be he was unconcious by then or he was not present here at all,'Arjun replied back,

They looked around for more clues but the place was very smoky and everything was almost burnt.The broken,now burnt cars were kept at one end.Rathore checked and found the engines missing from the cars.The cars might have been stolen long back and the spare parts were sold at high price.

There was a broken chair leg found at a corner which was the only unburnt material in the whole area.Rathore took a look at the wooden block intently and found some blood traces on it.Vinod might have been hit with this.

They walked out of the garage leaving the others to collect all evidences.They walked over to shree who had found a broken mobile at the back end of the garage.The mobile was smashed and was not working.Shree took it with him.

Chotu brought with him the man at the grocery shop who had first witnessed the fire.He informed that not many people came to this garage.Sometimes one or two came but they never came for any car repair and looking at them seemed some member of a local gang.According to him Vinod was an ambitious person and wanted to buy this garage.

'ye garage uska nehi hai?'Rathore asked him,

'nehi rent pe hai.usne kharid ne ke liye paisa udhar bhi liya tha kuch logo se,per kharcha kar diya hoga.Wo log ate rehete hai paisa mangne,aur jhagra marpit bhi hota hai,'

'aj koi aya tha kiya?'

'nehi aj to nehi,'

'tum yahi the pura din?'

'haan,nehi mera bhatija aya tha,aj wapas gaya,mein use station chorne gaya the kuch der ke liye dukan band karke,'

'hmm,'Rathore hummed knowing someone had come in this time for sure.

'teen char din mein koi aya tha Vinod se milne?'Arjun asked,

'haan sir,wo ek aadmi aya tha,mere dukan se cigerette kharida tha,bohot der ruka tha yaha,'

'kaisa tha,kab aya tha?kuch yaad hai?'

'haan, char din pehele,sham ko,kala chasma pehene tha,aur ek brown color ka jacket,chehera thik se nehi dikha, cigerette liya aur chala gaya,'

'kiya yahi tha?'Chotu asked showing the sketch they had from the accident site,

'haan yahi tha,apko ye kaha mila?'

'thik hai jao,agar zaroorat pari to firse puchtach karne bulaya jayga,sheher chorke maat jana,'Arjun glared,

'jee sab.kuch hua hai kiya?'

'nehi,tum jao,'

'sab wo us din na,ye aadmi kisi se phone pe baat kar raha tha,english mein bol raha tha,thik se samaj nehi aya,per shayad kisi aadmi se baat kar raha tha,'

'kab?kuch yaad hai kiya bol raha tha?'Arjun looked back at him again,

'nehi yaad to nehi,per kuch dhamki de raha tha,aur ek gari ki baat ho rahi thi,'

'konsa gari?kuch yaad hai kiya bol raha tha?'

'nehi saab'

'thik hai,jao'

The man went away.Arjun asked shree to check the rent details of the garage.

Rathore asked chotu to show the sketch to his informer and try to trace him.Shree and chotu went away to their respective work.Dixit ordered his men to seal the area and accompanied Arjun and Rathore to the hospital to check on Vinod.

By the time they reached hospital Vinod was taking his last breath.All three went in to talk with him.He was breathing heavy and his eyes were popping out.He was trying to say something.Dixit went to him started asking.Vinod tried hard but his voice gave up.He was brutally burnt and couldnt even move.He kept on mumbling with lost efforts and finally they could only manage to understand 'Anurag'.

Arjun asked him to speak but he had already taken his last breath.Rathore closed his eyes with his palm and looked away.
Dixit ordered the body to be taken for post mortem.

It was late night by the time Arjun and Rathore went back to the hotel where shree was already working in his room while Chotu was looking into some papers.Rathore entered the room,

'Shree kuch pata chala?'

'sir mein calls details nikalne ki koshish kar raha hu,the server is a bit slow.'

'okay,aur chotu,tum kiya dekh rahe ho?'

'Sir wo Vinod ke garage ke papers.Maine check kiya hai,'

Chotu has checked on the rent details of the garage from the local office and found that recently the owner had sold this garage to Vinod for a huge amount of money and left for another state.Vinod brought it 3 days before Ayesha was attacked.

'Vinod ke pas achanak itne paise kaha se aye?'Arjun asked,

'shayad wo accident ke liye paise,'Chotu claimed

'shayad,'Arjun said thoughtful,

'Thik hai,raat ho gayi hai,guys rest,kal subah milte hai,'Rathore said and turned towards the door,

'Sir,wo ayesha hospital mein akeli hai,'Shree asked hesitating,

'Dixit has arranged for a special security for her there,we need not worry,kal subah chalte hai'

Shree nodded and got busy wrapping up his work.Chotu left for his room.Arjun and Rathore too left.

It was almost morning,3.45am,Arjun was sitting on the sofa in his room,holding onto the chain close to his chest,eyes closed when he heard a knock on the door.It could also be called as a bang.He opened the door to find a fuming Rathore,with shree and chotu,both looking quite nervous.

'Arjun,Ayesha is attacked,we need to go now,'he said and turned,

Arjun was to shocked to react at first,but he composed quickly and went out with him.They reached the hospital and ran to the ICU.The guard in the corridor was unconcious,he had smelt choloform.

They went in to find doctors attending Ayesha.Her bandage on the head was bleeding and she was breathing heavily.The doctors saw them come in and nudged them to go out.A reluctant Rathore pulled out a furious Rawte who jerked himself and banged his fist on the wall.They waited for the doctors to come out.

After what seemed ages the doctors finally came.They rushed at them.The doctors informed that a man had come inside and tried to chock Ayesha.When she tried to struggle she was hit on the head with the drinking glass kept beside,breaking the glass in the process.The ward boy heard the saline stand falling on the floor and rushed in.The man pushed him and ran away.

Arjun was fuming and would kill the man any moment of time now and so was rathore.They peeped in from the glass opening.Ayesha had finally calmed down and was sleeping.Shree and Chotu remained at the corridor,while Arjun rushed to the guards at the gate and held his collor.

'Rawte,'Rathore tried to stop him,

'kaha the tum log?wo aadmi bhag gaya tum log so rahe the?is liye rakha
gaya hai tum logo ko yaha?'

'sir wo aadmi doctor ki uniform mein tha,to humne use jane diya,hume laga koi emergency hai,kuch der baad daurte huye aya aur hame dhakka deke chala gaya,fir sab aye use pakarne, tab samaj yaa ki wo koi aur tha,'

'tum logo ko itni akal nehi ki ID cards check karo?kisne duty pe rakha tumhe?'rathore shouted at them,

'saab check karte hai per abhi itni raat ko koi aise,'

'dekha tum log ki laparwahi ki wajah se kiya ho raha tha..dammit'rathore was impatient now.

Rathore and Arjun went back to the corridor.Ayesha was sleeping peacefully.None of them wanted to get back home.Dixit came after sometime and checked on Ayesha.Rathore forced all of them back and decided to stay alone.Arjun forced himself and stayed with rathore while

Shree and Chotu went back. Arjun and Rathore sat at two different benches trying to calm themselves while the morning Sun rose.

'Sam aise ajeeb awaze maat nikalo kutte daar jayenge,aur sidha raho mujhe bandage bhi karna hai,'

'mujhe dard ho raha hai,tum ahista karo na,'

'isi liye kaha tha hospital chalo,tum dono ne mujhe part time nurse bana diya hai,'

'mujhe hospital se allergy hai,chakkar ate hai,tumhe pata hai na?ahhh roshni mar dalogi kiya?'

'haan mar jao,warna kisi din mein khud tumhe mar dungi,'

'thik hai,mar do,is torture se to acha hai,'

'chalo ab tetanus lena hai,'

'nehi fir hospital,'

'mein hoon na tumhare sath,chalo ab,'

'roshni,please mujhe'

'sam,mujhe kuch nehi sunna,aur tum yahi mere pas rukoge aj samjhe?mein tumhe akele nehi chor sakti,'

'Roshni agar kabhi tum nehi rahi mere pass to mein kiya karunga?'Rathore asked smiling,a drop of tear escaping his eyes,

'mein tumhe chor ke kahi nehi ja rahi hu samjhe Mr,Rathore,ab chalo hospital,'

'Sir,Sir..'Rathore came back to his senses when Shree called him loudly.He looked around surprised and blinked his eyes several times to get himself out of the dream,or 'the harsh reality'.
