was sameer trying to kill manav too?

i dont understand...i thot sameer will try to kill shikha for the baby...then how come he was about to set fire to the room without removing manav first...

i am totally confused now...y did he get married to shikha if not for the baby...

Agree with Sri.. he would have taken Manav out of the room once he sets it on fire.. and plus he never poured petrol over manav.. it was only in the room and on shikha

Manav is in the cot next to the bed but the question is: would he have remembered manav, the way he was hell bent on pouring petrol/kerosene.

after setting fire on a room which is scattered with petrol...wud he hv time to save manav...it was a very lame scene...fire spreads so fast on petrol...and picking up a baby takes at least a couple of seconds...and y wud he take the risk of putting fire in the room wen the baby is there...if baby is so important that he planned for 2.5 years to kill shikha...then how come he is so careless with the baby...

i think the baby was not in the plan...so he was hving no trouble killing the baby...but once shikha escaped that time he pushed her off the cliff after taking the baby because he just wants to kill shikha and if there is no risk in saving the baby then y not save him...

No I think he just forgotten Manav for a couple of seconds since his target was Shika. He would have taken Manav with him if he had the chance to lite the room

I think its just a mistake from CV's side since they wanted Shika to be brave and leave the room with the baby

Woh galat dikhaya tha. But sameer manav ko to room se nikal hi leta. Seial walon ne jaise dikhaya hai ki sameer ko bachcha hi chayiye the to uske bahut se tareeke the, uske liye usko itna lamba planning ka koi zaroorat nahi tha.Kher serial walon ne different story ke liye aisa kiya.

Agreeing with everyone out here.. Me too thinks Sameer didn't wanna kill Maanav coz:

1) He called Maanav a "gift" which Shikha has given him as they sipped champagne today: therefore he wants the baby!
2) He called Maanav his "2.5 years ki mehhnat" when he was talking to his fake mom not so long ago: so he won't kill his 'mehnat'!
3) He wrote MADHURIMA on his birth certificate as Maanav's mother!! Now would this "Madhurima" want the baby to be killed: NOPE!
4) Almost everyone out here (including me) believes Sameer played this entire drama for acquiring that baby by ruling out other choices such as revenge, money, mental illness etc.. He's after Maanav!
