Ayaan Calling Paakhi 'Mom'?

I'm getting the impression that Ayaan will find out that Paakhi's the only one who doesn't want to send him to the hostel and he might even find out about the challenge. I'm starting to think that the only reason he'll call her mom is so he doesn't have to go to boarding school.

But honestly, I do think that he already has accepted her as his mother deep down. He just isn't going to believe it yet. Father and son are both in denial. 😆

As far as track unfolding Ayaan does not know about the 15 days challenge between Anshuman..Pakhi..otherwise he would have used this as a medium to not go hostel..faking in calling Pakhi mom..

Ayaan is a smart child and in this showdown coming up he will see who really cares for him and its Pakhi..

I'm sure Tanya will add fuel to this situation and influence Anshuman ..He might be angry and decides to send him to the hostel and in the process get rid of pakhi also..

Thats where Pakhi will be the saviour of Ayaan and he too will make Pakhi win the 15 days challenge by calling her mother...

He doesn't know yet, but he might find out. And he might make another plan that in order to stay at home, he has to get on Paakhi's good side and she must stay back too. He'll call her mom, but won't mean it, even though he feels it deep inside. At least, that's what I think. It's practical and fits perfectly with his character as well.

Honestly, I didn't like this turn in Tanya. But, it seems like she won't be in the story for very much longer. Ayaan will probably get annoyed by her and when everything gets revealed to Paakhi, Ayaan might hear too. He won't want Tanya as his mother either, so it would be another reason to call Paakhi mom.

At this point Ayaan has lost what little ability he had to trust anyone because everyone seems to be giving him conflicting views. It was interesting to me that for the first time he didn't totally fall for a finger pointing at Pakhi, that is, when Tanya told him it was Pakhi who had asked her to entice him into boarding school. Somewhere deep down his instinct toward Pakhi has changed from assuming wrong of her to being unable to do so without serious doubts in his mind. Something inside him has sensed Pakhi's goodness because of her constant, unchanging attention and efforts vs. the ever-confusing and random explanations of his dad and Tanya.

But Ayaan is a very intelligent and logical kid. He is not one to trust his instincts without cold, hard facts to back them up. That is the only piece missing in his acceptance of Pakhi, the facts. By manipulating the facts and making his instincts seem wrong every time, Anshuman and Tanya have been keeping him from trusting Pakhi completely. Once he finds out the truth about Pakhi's intentions, his gut feelings and his knowledge will finally align and he will see Pakhi for what she really is. I don't think it is too farfetched for him to accept her as a mother then. In fact he will probably cling to her for dear life for being the only person who won't play with his feelings for their own gain.

My prediction is that, knowing how angry Anshuman is going to get and to defend Ayaan's honor in front of Tanya, Pakhi will take the fall for Ayaan tomorrow and say she told him to fake the fracture so that he wouldn't go to boarding school.Anshuman will get angrier with her for being selfish but Ayaan will finally be curious and thankful enough to give her a chance.

That's an interesting prediction. I think you may be right. I won't agree with Paakhi if she does this, but if Paakhi does take the blame for Ayaan, then he will definitely respect her more. Ayaan's a smart kid, so he'll probably realize if Paakhi's leaving, then Anshuman will bring in Tanya. And he will be able to easily tell the difference between them, being the smart boy he is. He won't let Paakhi leave because it will be a gain for him too. He won't go to boarding school, and it's simply going to be a win for him.

The only thing that's hard to believe is Ayaan calling her "mom". It's hard to imagine that she'll go from being DNW to mom so quickly unless he has some ulterior motive (which I think he will have, in not wanting to go to boarding school). So if Ayaan does say mom to Paakhi, I think he would do it for the sole reason of staying away from boarding school.

I can see where you are coming from about the suddenness of Ayaan's acceptance, but in my POV the transition has been coming on gradually all along. More and more, this DNW thing has become a defense mechanism for Ayaan to push Pakhi away because all the conflicting messages are making him too scared to trust her. I say this because at the picnic he was already hesitating to call her DNW and called her "woh" instead when he made her the den. In his heart, the transition had started even then when Pakhi proved Mahaji and Anshuman's predictions wrong by giving him a "big picnic" instead of a "big punishment." Anshuman's manipulation with the boarding school letter made Ayaan feel betrayed and hurt by someone he thought for a second was on his side, someone he had opened up to for a moment.

What is significant to me here is that he did not regress to the degree of cold malevolence that he had when he sent Pakhi to jail. His pranks were more like a normal, petulant kid who was craving attention and asking to be consoled. And Pakhi has been doing just that unconsciously. Whatever mood he is in and whatever plan she has going on in her mind, she gives him constant attention. On a subconscious level I think Ayaan is responding to this though he is not able to trust her completely because he is always being told that she doesn't want him. Once the facts and his feelings tally, I think rather than suddenly calling her "mom" and accepting her, he will allow himself to do what he has been holding back for a while now in accepting her.

My prediction came from two things. 1. Ayaan's concern (expressed to Mahaji) about his honor if he admits that he doesn't want to go to boarding school. He is a proud little man and I think he is most afraid of compromising that in front of his dad. He wants Anshuman to respect him as an equal. 2. Pakhi's quip to Tanya about how they won't let a third party into the concerns of their household. I think she will reprimand Ayaan in private, telling him that he doesn't have to go through all this to avoid boarding school, but save his face in front of Tanya Of course this is just my prediction. We'll see how it pans out!

I agree with you! I do believe that Ayaan has already come a long way from where he started off. I also think that he's accepted her already. But to get the word "mom" out of the stubborn little kid's mouth in two days is what's making me question whether he would do it under the pretense of not being sent to boarding school. He's so used to calling her DNW that him calling her mom (even if he accepted her) will seem unnatural to be honest.

I'm remembering Palak from Punar Vivah. Palak and Ayaan are different characters, but both in similar situations. She thought Aarti was a horrible stepmom, and Ayaan thinks (or thought) that Paakhi was the same. It was later on, when Palak realized that Aarti truly wanted to be Palak's mother and didn't want to snatch Arpita's place away from her, that she accepted Aarti as her "Aarti ma".

In this situation, Ayaan is clever - so clever that he plotted to send Paakhi away, but despite that Paakhi still doesn't hate him. Paakhi is selfless and truly cares about Ayaan, and I think this is the realization that needs to hit Ayaan before he accepts Paakhi as his mother. I think he's already realized it but like Anshuman, he is in denial. Maybe he'll truly realize it if your prediction comes true and will accept that she is selfless and truly cares about Ayaan.

What I'm unsure about is whether he'll say it during any dramatic twist, to get out of going to boarding school, or just say it out of the blue. I'm looking forward to seeing how he says it, but Ayaan's ego is what's making me so unsure of whether he'll genuinely call her "mom". He feels it for sure, but the kid is just so darn egoistic (like his father) that it's very hard for me to believe.

I totally thought of Palak as well 😃, and I think she and Ayaan are definitely in similar situations! Both of them are under false impressions that their new mothers don't actually want them and consider them inconveniences. That is why they are so mean... they are trying to reject before they are rejected so they can at least retain control. Both of them are also kids who were forced to grow up way too fast because there wasn't anyone looking out for them constantly and diligently and assuring them that they were taken care of no matter what and allowing them to be the carefree kids they are supposed to me.

Unfortunately, this forms a vicious cycle because they are too guarded and defensive to let the new parent in to make a place in their hearts but they are also craving love and attention even more than other kids. But all they really need is someone to go the extra distance beyond their defensive walls, someone who has the patience to stick it out and be there no matter how much they try to push that person away. Anshuman, though he loves his son deeply as is evidenced by his reactions to the thought of Ayaan in danger or hurt, really fails at creating that sense of security for Ayaan and as a result, Ayaan is dealing with a huge double standard in the way he is treated. On the one hand, he is expected to fend for his own feelings and emotions and on the other he is meant to be obedient. The way I see it, Ayaan is trying to be an adult the best way he knows how, which according to the example of daddy dearest includes rebellion, recklessness and cynicism. Ironically, it is the most Anshuman-like behavior, driving the car, crazy jail plot, that makes Anshuman himself the most furious. Today was a good reversal of that with the milk. As soon as Anshuman drank the milk it actually became a fun thing for Ayaan! Ayaan so wants to be like his dad; if only Anshuman would be conscious of that he could have a much better influence.

Whoa, tangent. 😳

ANYWAY. 😆 As for Ayaan's ego, that is actually exactly where my prediction comes from. So far, Ayaan been manipulated by Anshuman, Mahaji and Tanya to see Pakhi as an enemy, someone from whom his ego and pride have to be guarded. However, if a situation arises where Pakhi defends his ego from a third party, where she makes his enemy her enemy and sacrifices her pride for his, I think it might just be a window for Ayaan to understand that she is unconditionally on his side and never, ever against him. Even though she will hold him accountable for his actions, she won't ever let him be humiliated in front of people who just want to put him down for their own gain.

PS: I know this is not exactly on topic but I am dying to see what Lavanya's reaction is to the huge danger Naina was in. They haven't really shown too much of her reactions to Naina after the truth came out but I am pretty sure those motherly feelings have not died. They are just concealed by anger and hurt. I am hoping they show her instinctively worrying like any mother would. It would tie in nicely with the Pakhi-Ayaan situation, however that pans out. 😊
