Just catching up on BI, unfortunately only managed to record a few episodes, connection problems. Why did Zain say yes to the marriage, does he genuinely care for Aliya or he has another motive ?

He hasn't said 'yes' because he does not want to marry since he's not ready to commit to anyone. However he refuses at first but for his father's sake he stays quite and seeks Aaliyah's help in breaking the wedding.

Aaliyah can not say no to her father after seeing his condition so she says that they're both ready to marry eachother and Zain feels betrayed by this since she promised him this nikaah will not happen.

Both Aaliyah and Zain don't want to marry eachother but under the circumstance they have no choice but to marry eachother... Their silence is understood as a 'Yes'.
