Defaulting on payment?

If rumours are to be believed, Arjun Rampal has been defaulting on the payments for his nightclub LAP in Delhi. Sources say that he owes around Rs 3 crore to the Tourism Department. Arjun has apparently not paid up for over a year now. The invite-only club was launched with lots of fanfare and is a regular haunt for the Page 3 and celebs. But the actor has been claiming that the club is not doing well and that's the reason he has been defaulting on his payments. Arjun's spokesperson could not be reached.

Why am I not surprised? When you make a place like this invite only the only persons who'll show up are muftkhor buddies of yours who'd definitely not pay up like a baller customer. Also Arjun frankly doesn't have the pull in the right circles to get the real moneybags types to show up and loosen their purse strings - Bollywood only gets you so far.

I think Jack did a post on this a long time ago about the type of shady patrons LAP gets.

That's Maheep Kapoor, Sanjay Kapoor's wife who has her own Dubai se kharida hua jewellery line. She's the one who tries to push her jewellery on unsuspecting high society types at clubs and parties.
