Ravi--I became very close to Carol.

Bhojpuri superstar and highest paid Big Boss contestant, Ravi Kissen is returning to the small screen; albeit in a new avatar. To begin with Sahara Filmy has roped in Ravi as their sutradhar (anchor) for the Bhojpuri flick Ganga which premieres this Sunday.

Tellychakkar.com caught up with Ravi on his small screen innings, Bhojpuri films and his Big Boss experience.

So tell us how come Sahara Filmy?
As you know, Sahara filmy is premiering my super hit, Bhojpuri film Ganga. To make the film more interesting, I will come as an anchor and talk about many interesting unknown facets of the film. I will be sharing my off screen memories with stars like Big B and Hemaji who were a part of the film.

So, what would be your get up?
I will come in a traditional get up. But don't worry, I won't get preachy as I can't stand sermons myself.

Is it true you will sit on the pot seat, of Kaun Banega Champu.?
Yes, it was great fun to be part of this spoof on KBC. I had a real blast. Readers should not miss my episode.

Is this a one off venture with Filmy?
Currently, we're aiming only at Ganga but later we may also do similar shows. Afterall, I have 34 big hits in my kitty, so there's ample scope for work later.

Your experience of doing Big Boss?
It was great. I saw a whole new world out there, met all kinds of people. But all said and done, I will never ever do a reality show again.

Why?
I do not want to expose my personal life to the whole world. I felt very emotionally drained and vulnerable after the Big Boss experience.

Rakhi Sawant did allege that you were involved with cry baby Rupali Ganguly?
Rupali and I are good friends. There's nothing more to that. I I love my wife and kids too much to do anything that will hurt them. And had we been involved, we would've surely got linked up post our eviction. But that has not happened.So that should answer your question.

There is constant allegation that such show's are rigged?
No, Big Boss was not rigged. You saw what really happened at that Karjat pad.

What was your relationship with your co house mates?
I became very close to Carol. In fact, she has become a dear friend. As for the bad apples, I would not want to wash dirty linen in public. But we all know who did what, so let's keep it to that.

How has Big Boss helped your career?
Big time. Earlier only Bhojpuri audiences' knew me but post BB, the whole country knows me..

Aren't you doing any more television shows?
I am choc bloc for a year, with my filmy commitments. After that, if something interesting comes along, I will surely consider. Television is huge these days and I do not want to miss the bus.

So what kind of stuff would you want to do then?
Any character that is strong, positive and above all reflects what Ravi Kissen is. I will give the show my special characteristics which will surely garner strong Trps.

What's making Bhojpuri film tick?
Our films are based on tradition, culture and love for the simple life. You will never see me encourage sex and mindless violence. Unfortunately, all this is no longer a Bollywood norm. Hence,people in the Hindi belt now prefer Bhojpuri films to Hindi films.
