By same politician I didn't mean R.R.Patil but the men in politics. A few days ago I read a report in the newspaper that politicians from UP, Bihar, Gujarat, Rajasthan, WB, Punjab, MP all have hired these former bar dancers to attract more people in their rallies. A group of 10 bar dancers for Rs. 1.1 lakh.

Digressing from the topic

About Dance Bars and stuff

I for a change welcomed that idea, if I know anything about the person who floated the idea about the law, I think it was more of a sensible thinking rather than a moral one

The women(dont know if any men) in the dance bars were left with no alternatives, it was a cyclical process, that was the all they had, no other means for them and their children to get out.

Closing of the dance bars was good, the follow-up action was supposed to be, create different avenues of livelihood for those people displaced and ...maybe open up the dance bars again, if those same people land up in the dance bar again 👍🏼

What was missed in all of this was the follow-up, I think they also created alternative means of earning, etc, but the beauracy eat that up and failed the citizens.

For a change in this instance I think the politicians were right.

But again sorry for digressing, just wanted to say what I had on my mind

I am afraid thats a slightly warped notion of a casino.... They dont need Bar Dancers... Or Even Alcohol for that matter.... It can be like a games arcade... After all these games arcades where we play games hoping to win a prize is theoretically wager markets..!!
