Jodha Akbar has stopped being a historical show and turned to a saas-bahu serial or a 50s-60s hindi movie soap opera set in 16th century with the scheming and cruel mother in law and step mother aka milk mother(read Maham Anga), scheming elder bahu(Read Ruqaiah), targetted younger bahu(read Jodha), a good neutral bahu(Salima), an hen pecked dumb husband and son of Ruqaiah and Maham although an emperor(Jalal), a mother ignored and treated like furniture without any power although an empress(Hamida Banu), a cruel step brother aka milk brother(Adham Khan), scheming brother in laws(Abul mali and Sharifuddin), a sobbing sister(Bakshi Banu) and a brother who cannot see his sister/mother cry and forgiving all scheming brothers/in laws and taking all their life attempts casually.
To get back Akbar the emperor, warrior and administrator back i think its best to send him to battle field. He will be away from all family politics, get time to rethink on life and his actions, distance will make his heart forgive and grow fonder of Jodha and atleast we can salvage some pride of the emperor who is lost in kitchen and family politics since august when he married Jodha.
Atleast we will get to see some action, some real decision making without women help and later on the track can show Jalal getting injured and Hamida sending Jodha to tend to him or something that offsets a love angle. I do not want another miscarriage/false pregnancy, assasin attempts etc again and again. Already 4 tracks of such type are over now how many more?
Instead a war track, marriage track at amer, hunting track with hakim and man singh, a birbal track, a disguised identity track(of akbar of course), an adventure on a tour of his sultanat can be thrown in between love tracks because CVs are not good at writing love tracks and have no orginial ideas and seem to be copying story lines of 50-60s movies every time that too illogically and executed badly.
Jodha and Akbar did not have family opposition to their marriage, nor religion opposition because Akbar was emperor and very powerful, his wives opposing jodha is also unbelievable because akbar would shut them off, so only oppsition tro thweir love story is their egos and mistrust of each other. I think 6 months is enough to sort these issues truly now if this anger, fights etc look too silly and not suit stature of an emperor and his princess.Its high time love track starts
