Can I say this is like one of the best montages yet? I mean, the way they stand like with their backs to each other and their famous pose of looking at each other? WOW.
So finally the episode begins with Riwzan and Nafesa scene. Rizwan is one of the most amazing characters on the show. I am sure in the future, he's going to give Aliya the friend she needs and the key to Zain Abdulah's heart. So Zain baba has commitment issues and no steady gf? Lovely. So no third angle in the making. Like a good sis, she tells her brother to stay away.. So wait, she said this is her family issue and she nor he can interfer in it. Pardon me, but isn't Nafesa his sister in law?
Zain and the mirror scene . Take a bow Harshad. I will post another post on just this scene. Then his dad comes and the ties his button. Silence all around where he's looking at his dad and there are no words, but just feelings.
Cut back to Aliya who is actually thinking about Zain only, the promise she made and how she broke it. Preetika was SUPERB. Her first promise to Zain only to be broken.
The whole scene back and forth regarding their sadness, their shock, the betrayl, everything was so brilliant summed up without any words needed. Harshad was OUTSTANDING in this scene. There are no lines but emotions colliding in this scene.
Both of them are just like corpses with no emotions, no feelings, nothing. They are just like puppets at the hand of destiny. Takes a lot to have such controlled emotions.
The wedding scene - WOW. Zain's entry. They have their own song. SO beautiful. No words for it.. Ishq Khuda hai. Mummy is shown but she's not upset or sad. She's just annoyed that she can't do anything which means Usman's words is what works.
Aliya enters.. Zain sees her with emotionless eyes, She looks at him. Their emotions are bouncing back and forth. Aliya remembers the reason why she broke Zain's trust and her promise. The music is superb and perfect. Loved how Zain is looking only towards Aliya and vice versa. They can read each other's sadness.
Music is SUPERB. This show never fails in terms of creating the proper ambiance.
Aliya is superb as a daughter. That scene was outstanding. How she broke Zain's trust , because she had to. Her father is her world and for that, even Zain will have to be sacrificed. She went to go to say no, but she finally say yes and leaves millions of joy onto their face. She lies and tells them that Zain is also ready. When she spoke those words, she knew she had broken Zain down somewhere. Zain on the other hand is feeling nothing. He's just emotionless.
The rituals finally begin and with the BI music playing in the background. Aliya takes her time. She's frozen. She doesn't know what to say. what to do. The expressions of Preetika were bang on. Shock. Pain. Hurt. Shattered dreams everything.
Aliya says yes. Everyone's super happy. But they cannot see, the shock on her face, the sadness and the guy looking at her through the flower curtain whose just hatred is coming out.. The music is superb.. Yeh Ishq hai is so superb.. Zain on the other side is gutted. Aliya says to save her dad's life, she is willing for any punishment.
Zain.. is speechless. emotionless. He doesn't have any expressions and to maintain it throughout, Harshad is excellent in this scene. His side is hoping for a no. His dad comes right in front and puts his hand on his shoulder. He looks straight at Aliya, her betrayal, his hatred oozing out at her and says in a strong voice; yes. He says yes, because he hates the sight of her. Aliya can feel the hatred from the other side. Everyone is happy as the wedding is over except the two people...
Shabana hugging Suriya - beyond epic. Suryia's face was priceless. Shocked and despaired while Shabana is just overjoyed.
Back to Aliya and Zain, please give a round of applause to Harshad and Preetika for this scene. WOW WOW. If looks can kill. Zain promises to Aliya that he will make her regret her saying yes for this marriage. I knew he was gonna break that promise that he won't trouble her no more.
Everytime I feel spellbounded, this show changes everything.

Zain and Aliya have to do some ritual ( I am clueless but I guess some mirror scene); Music is OUTSTANDING. where do they come with such beautiful pieces? Aliya and Zain under one chaddar/duptaa? The song is SUPERB. So well fitted for the entire sequence!
Aliya and Zain fianlly get a chance to look at each other. They can read the pain in each other's eyes. The mirror is placed and slowly they can see both their faces in the mirror. The sadness on their faces so visible to each other. Harshad and Preetika stole the whole show in this episode. The way they looked at each other, with Aliya's tears flowing down, his eyes sad and gutted. They both feel the pain of each other, and of their own.
The lyrics of the song in the background is SO SO beautiful. I cannot even describe it,.
Zain cannot tolerate it and he breaks the mirror with their reflection in it. Aliya is stunned. Symbolism - that they are a broken line and its gonna take a lot for them to make the broken pieces jointed again. Zain's hatred for her, she can see it, the way their broken reflection can be seen into the mirror. She's shocked. She can see the hatred emerging from him. The scene is too beautiful to be describe. Prob the best scene out of the entire episode. Zain leaves Aliya there. She sees him and she's just gutted for words.
She realizes that this is her destiny. Her with the broken reflection and how only bad should happen to her and not to her family. Superb line and super way of showing.
PRECAP - Shabana and Suriya's crappy talks. Suriya basic ally says Zain was forced. Shabana tells him to take care of her Aliya. Zain looks right at Aliya and stares at her with hatred.
HIP HIP HURRARY! THEY ARE MARRIED AND WHAT AN EPISODE! I DON'T Think I have ever witnesssed such a spellbounding episode!
