They arent😃 As u said Pongal is a harvest festival which is over on Jan 15, what is coming up is New Year

Amu is right..Pongal is a harvest festival which is celebrated around Jan 14/15 every year, April 14/15 is Tamil/Malayalam New Year called "Vishu"😊..I don't know about the Bengali new year, sorry🤔..
