Part 14
There were pin drop silent between them. They were walking together yet creating distance. They were near to each other yet far from their reach. Khushi was the most confused in all this. She didn't want to meet him. She didn't want to see his face. She just wanted to stay aloof from everyone and this cruel world. She has lost faith in trusting a person like she used to trust him blindly. In return, she only receives his betrayal. He killed her the day he lied to her for each created excused.
Khushi: "I need to go.. I will inform someone else to guide you.." She was about to run.. Suddenly, her feet stumble with the stone and she was about to fall down. She closed her eyes tight letting her body crash on the ground. But before she could receive another pain, she had been held firmly by a strong arm. She slowly opens her eyes and meet those brown eyes. She hurriedly realizes the surround and literally struggle from his holds. He balance her to stand properly and move two step backwards as he could see her uneasiness.
Arnav: "Tum theek ho..? (Are you okey..?)" She adjust her duppata and nodded weakly.. "Errmm.. Khushi can you join me for a, cup of coffee..?" She lifted her gaze..
Khushi: "Nahi.. I have some other work to do.." She denied his request without giving a second thought. Her heart was beating rapidly. She couldn't wait any longer here.. She rushed out from his views. Her heart still wasn't ready to accept him fully. She can never forgive his deeds towards her..

The whole night Arnav spend in his harm house at Jaipur. He been informed Khushi didn't step in his harm house since the day she came to Jaipur.. She prefer staying at the orphanage quarter than staying here comfortably. He didn't want to force her for anything. The whole night he spend sleeping on the recliner. He didn't notice when he doze off here. He was hell exhausted from the long drive. He loves driving and this time too he didn't take his drive with him. Shilpa already informed him about Khushi's whereabouts which was none other than the same orphanage that he was sponsoring. There are few orphanage which are under AR since years.. 10 percent of the profits will be distributed to those orphanages so they would be able to take care of the daily routine of theirs.

The next morning Arnav was again in the orphanage. He will be leaving today evening. He just drops by to settle some formalities and at the same time to meet her. It wasn't his intension to disturb her here nor did he want to take her home. If she prefer staying here than he won't argue and would let her stay here if that bring happiness to her.. His life in Delhi was not less like a dead soul. He was breathing but seems the air wasn't enough for him. The entire day he missed her presence and her voice. Even last few days she didn't talk much but still he felt relief finding her near him even not beside him. He walked out from the principal office after handing the construction reports which will take place within few days. The new infrastructure will be built in the school for the children. It will bring a lot of benefits for them henceforth.
Arnav was walking out. He was engrossed on Bluetooth with Aman regarding some paper works. He didn't notice when suddenly someone dumped in him. He hurriedly hold the small figure before it collapse on the ground. He kneel down before the small girl..
Arnav: "Are you okey..?? Kahi chot lagi tumhe..? (Did you get injured..?)"
Piya: "No uncle.. Hum theek hai.."
Arnav: "You sure na..?" She nodded with a broad smile..
Piya: "Aap na ek din bohot ache papa banenge.. (One day you will be a very good father..)" Arnav was taken back with her words.. "Do you have children..?" He denied weakly.. "Aap dukhi mat hoiyeh.. Hum bhagwan se prarthna karenge keh woh apko bohot saare bache den eke liye.. (You don't be sad.. I will pray to God to give you a lot of children..)" He controls himself by gulping down a big lump in his throat.
Arnav: "Thank you.." He replied shortly.. He doesn't know if God would ever have some mercy for him? He, himself wasn't able to forgive his deeds than how on earth Khushi would able to forgive him..? If his daughter was alive he might be playing and toasting with her on the bed. His hand intentionally touched Piya's head in a way of caressing her. "Agar kuch chahiye toh Principal ko kahe dena.. (If you need anything tell to principal)" They didn't notice that someone were staring them from far. Her eyes too moist seeing this duo..
Piya: "Aap bohot ache hai.. (You are too good)" The little girl kissed his cheeks in return. He was stunned for a moment while suddenly a small smile crept on his face.
They bid adieu to each other and walked their own path. Arnav went back to his farm house. He needs to pack his bags as in evening he is going back to Delhi. A pair of eyes which were noticing all this was currently shedding silent tears. Her hand touched her flat belly to feel her baby but nothing was moving. It was empty..
Khushi hurriedly wipe her tear. She didn't want anyone to notice her sorrow. She was here to meet the Principal to tell her that she needs leave for a day as she wasn't feeling well. She thought of calling but she has some reports to give to the principal and thought of passing by.

Arnav was having another one hour before he started to Delhi. He thought of meeting Khushi before leaving. Even she won't like much his presence but as a person he can't stop himself. He parked the car near the teacher's quarter and walked in, inhaling some air to gain strength. He knocked her room doors several times to get reply from her but unforturnely she wasn't responding to any of his replies. He tried again and again. His curiosity was increasing in case if anything happen to her..? She is still under medication and what if..? He tried to open through the holder but yet he wasn't successful. Without having any choice, he slammed his body trice on the door breaking the locker. When the door was open for his views, he run inside, he didn't want to waste any time here.. Arnav was about to yell her name but the moment he saw her laying on the ground his heart raced furiously.
Arnav (Carrying her body side way): "Khushi.. Khushi.." He called nervously. He could feel her body was burning with fever..
He lifted her up in his arms and took her towards his car so they can reach the unit care before it's too late. Having fever symptom was not good for her health. She was still under therapy and medication.
Arnav (driving the car): "Khushi just stay strong.. Please.." He was hell scared seeing her in this condition. Meanwhile, his car was in such speed that he would ram anyone who came before his vehicles. But due to the traffics he has to brake his car. He horns several times instructing the vehicles owner before him to remove their cars. "Damn..!" He cursed the incidents which are going on before his eyes. He was already late and now these traffics are delaying everything. There were sudden knocked on his window instructing him to open so the traffics police could convey his message.
Police: "Saab.. This road is close for three hours. There are some construction works going on.. You can use that road to reach city.." Arnav nodded hurriedly and turn his car towards another road which was suggested by the traffic police.
The road was quite silent type. Very less vehicles move here. There were big forest around the road and a plain road for vehicles. He couldn't see any house or clinics which he could pass by. His eyes were keep on checking her. He grip her hand tightly assuring her that he is here. Her body was literally trembling. The rain was making the situation worse even more than before. He drives his car as fast as he could. The hospital seems too far from his destination. But another incident which just happen literally made him shouts in frustration. His car breakdown in the middle of the road and forest.. He was trapped in all the possible way.. He couldn't identify if it's a game of destiny or something else.. Every damn thing was only happening now during the ill period..
Arnav: "Khushi.. Stay strong.. I won't let anything happen to you.." He pulled her in a hug. She was still shivering as she wasn't able to cope up with the temperature and the weather. He scanned around to find something that's when he caught a hut.
He wrapped her body with his coat and took her inside the huts. He tried to set the fire with the help of stones which he was succeeded. Her body was put near the fire so she would able to warm herself. His hand was in between giving her warmth by rubbing her palms. But all these seem taking a lot of time. He pulled her near his embrace and tried to reduce her temperature through his body. She was cover under the blanket and her wet clothes were placed aside. He couldn't cover her fully when he brought her in the hut. She was drenched just like him...
She snuggled more into him. Her weak body was now giving up due to the coldness she is facing. She knew her husband was here with her and he is the only person she is depending now. Arnav closed his eyes tight. He knew he can save her but at another point he was scared to cross those lines which she have closed for him. He gulped all the consequence he might face when she open her eyes in the next morning. He just wanted to save her.
Slowly, rhythm-ly his hand started to roam on her body. He made her laid and went under the same blanket of hers. Very things were moving smoothly. Every touch of his was giving a new life in her unwontedly. Her eyes were closed but she was fully aware what was happening with her. She doesn't have strength to push him due to the weakness. She didn't want those touch on her body even it was just to save her. She didn't want the same body to claim her again which have destroyed her once. Her tears rolled from the corner of her eyes.
Arnav: "I'm sorry Khushi.. I have too.." He whisper in her ears completing very moves before it's too late for her..
