Jodha did not have anyone on her side today. But, I did not feel one bit sorry for her. I only felt proud of her. She stays unaffected by so many people trying to prove her wrong. She is made a laughing stock by MA and Ruqu in DEK. Does that affect her or humiliate her ego? Not one bit. Jodha's childhood best friend also doubts her, still not affected. Hamida banu the lady who is always on her side also refuses to believe her. But Jodha is undeterred as she is deeply in love. All her energy and thoughts are about Jalal and his life. A lady full of pride and ego is willing to put everything on the side as her beloved's life is in danger. She took the risk of meeting another man in Qaid khana, a man who caused so much misery in her life. Why? Jodha finally is able to put everything (her ego, pride, Amer) behind and only worry about Jalal. Is this not what Jalal did during the pregnancy track. He was willing to lie, take attacks on his character but make sure that Jodha's honor is intact. Aren't these two just meant for each other? A true love does not keep notes about how much hurt or disrespect was caused on oneself, their only concern is the well being and happiness of the beloved. I applaud Jodha's character for standing by Jalal no matter what, she indeed is sailing in the same boat as Jalal.
The black cloud of love letter is still hanging in Jalal's mind, added to it are thunderstorms of Shivani's elopement and RB's betrayal. Inspite of all this he still trusts Jodha. He still cannot stop loving her. The MH talk has made him even more restless as he realizes that he is in love with Jodha. The reason being Jalal feels he will never receive the love from the one he desires the most. Jalal's strategy right now is to keep himself busy in anything so that Jodha is out of his mind. Jodha waited out the night for Jalal just so that she could warn him about Ben. She knew that Jalal would not believe her. I remembered the old Jodha during MC and Sukanya track. The moment Jalal would not believe her, Jodha would be all mad that he does not trust the one he should. The new Jodha who is in love does not get affected by Jalal distrust or accusations of jealousy. At this time all she cares is for the danger to Jalal's life be stopped, she can overlook anything as long as Jalal is safe. Jodha's plea affect Jalal again, just like it did during pregnancy track. He yet again sees the truth in her eyes and calls a sabah at DEK to investigate further. The peace on Jodha's face immediately after that said it all.
After the failure of proving Ben a poison lady, Jalal stops by to talk to Jodha. Even though he said that she should keep away from making mistakes and judging incorrectly, he did not insult her one bit. Not like Ruqu and MA for sure. Somehow it felt like he knows that Jodha would not make a false allegation without any fire. Again the background of Shivani betrayal and love letter kept him from seeing the truth in Jodha's eyes. So far I have written many times that as long as Jodha has Jalal on her side, she does not need anyone else. Jalal for that matter has been on her side even when it seemed otherwise. Today I am happy to write that as long as Jodha is on Jalal side, no one will be able to endanger his life. She is like this lady who stands like a solid rock to protect Jalal against any danger.
I was worried about another track where Jalal was instigated to doubt Jodha of having an affair with SD. I know it sounds stupid, but CVs have made us start thinking of those kind of stupid tracks. So, I was relieved when Jodha confessed to Jalal that she had met SD. Phew! I wished that Jalal knew something about Ben, that he was not completely clueless. But, Ekta like everyone else is showing the same crap of heroines rescuing the clueless heros. It was sad to see Jalal make a decision that he was not comfortable making just because Ruqu kept forcing it on him. Jalal does not want any more sarcasm from Ruqu about taking Jodha's side, in desperation he agrees to marry Ben. Again the track is about showing Ruqu negative so that Jodha can look even more positive. I wish CVs got little creative as we all know from the past episodes they can if they want to be. Why not create a history by making a historical show look genuine. Why always do the same thing that is done in other soaps, which is to keep adding more HALOs around the lead lady till our eyes are completely blinded.
