I would agree that SidT never intended to show real history! He dropped such a huge hint for us in the first promo itself that Porus and Alexander were born on the SAME DAY at the SAME MOMENT! 😆 It was us who didn't understand him ! 🤣

I thought creative liberty is a concept where people use fiction to join scattered pieces of the REAL events to make them meaningful and continuous!

For Eg- Wiki expressed a theory that Alexander and Olympias were said to be involved in Philip's assassination.

The way they have covered that event in the show was, I thought, a brilliant example of creative liberty!

But it appears that creative liberty also means to create imaginary events and occurences according to your convenience! 👏

For Eg- Bringing Olympias to India!

I think when a maker makes a show like porus where half of his characters are just a result of creative liberty...he can take any kind of liberty then. Uska concentration trp hota hain...anything for trp...its all about what benifits...what people will buy...and people have brought porus and its a success...so siddharth sir did succeded. Woh kisi ek openion se...ya kisi ek set of audience ko please karne ke liye show nahi bana sakte. Jab starting promo se hi ...historically galat hain yeh show...toh i dont get how are other events even expected to be historically correct ...jinhe history se pyaar hain woh dekhenge hi kyun... ..jab alex aur poras ek umar ke the hi nahi...hardly history accurate shows have done good...beech mein band ho jaate hain ...aur makers ka kitna nuksaan hota hain. Makers arent wrong in making masala shows for trp...kyonki at the end of the day, that is what keeps the show going. Thats how he give salary checks to hundreds of people he has on the sets...he is really answerable to his employees...serials chodo...real corporate world mein bhi things goes according to what client wants. Jis din log tv entertainment ki jagah history ke liye dekhne lagenge...us din banenge historically correct shows...jab tak tv is just entertainment medium...tab tak aise hi chalega...because people are buying it. ...doesnt matter what we think till the time we are watching...we are contributing only...phir chahe hamare dekhne ke koi bhi reason ho.

Dekho vaishnavi...i am not trying to pick fights...i am just saying ki agar hum show apni marzi se dekh hi rahe hain...toh kyun producer ko itna jyaada bolna...matlab we watch what he created and hum ussi ko khari khoti sunate hain. Kyon uski feelings ka mazak banana...whats wrong if he attached to his own show...whats wrong if he defends his show. Why we need to sunao so much that a rohit praising thread turns into siddharth sir's bashing thread.

I agree with you Surbhi about the profit and business thing.I was just trying to be funny and also bringing out the fact, that you also need to agree, that he has taken way too much liberty here! 🤣

And also his character will die here in the same age duration in which Alexander died, between 32 and 33. 😲

Honestly, guys I am feeling quite down these days, especially after the last couple of episodes showing Alexander's decline.

I can also just imagine how awesome Rohit is going to be when they show Alexander mourning Hephaestion or when he has to return home with his troops and give up on his dreams. I know the events in history but I have become so attached to Alexander's character that it's going to hurt watching him die and watching Olympias mourning him. 😭

Alexander The Great has always been my hero, but the way Rohit brought him to life has burned the image of this legend in my mind and heart forever. The show really needs to end to prevent further dragging but I am so going to miss watching his performances onscreen. 😭

I am just glad Dastaan-e-Mohabbat is starting tomorrow, otherwise I don't know how I would have coped with this upcoming void. It won't be the same of course, but at least I will have something to look forward to everyday.

Yes, exactly! Next he should play Jesus Christ as he will turn 33 next year. People on social media have been suggesting this too. 😉
