Knowing one's onions means being shrewd. It is just a common expression.

As for the Like button, I meant for my admittedly rare posts, of course! If you don't mark my posts, such as they are, I don't know if you have seen them at all. You are sadly haphazard. I wrote a response on your Hephaestion 2.0 thread, which you appear not to have seen as yet.

As for Chandra Nandini, yes it was an Ekta product, but then so was Jodha Akbar, which was very good for roughly 200 episodes, and really showcased Rajat. But see where he is now, poor boy!

Anyway, my dear, while I visit your threads for old times' sake, the endless, frenetic speculation gives me a headache. I shall take the IF version of a nicotine patch, and ease myself out. The generation gap stares me in the face!

Oh goodness, more forests!

You know Aunty, sometimes I feel like I've already visited Umergaon and know each tree out there by heart considering how many shows have been filmed there! 😆

600 crore? Even if this SidT spends 60000 crore he won't be able to hide his inability to have sensible character sketches drawn up.

The moment I heard about the CGM series, I was dismayed as I feel sure he will destroy this character. The bigger the legend the bigger the fall.

I'm not sure I understood your reference SidT's onions.

@bold
Amen, Aunty! I am glad we now have an official date when Rohit will be done with this show and when I can be released from my own commitment of supporting him till the end of this show. Phew! 😃

If I want to learn about the life and times of Chanakya and CGM I will go look up the 90s one or even the more recent version instead of giving SidT's next creation any of my time (though I'd like to find one with good resolution). The Chandra Nandani show I never took seriously after my experience with Jodha Akbar. I checked it out for Rajat but then realized it an Ekta production and was not worth it.

I pray Rohit will not be in anything related to this show after Alexander's death. I am already thinking of the Turkish series angle, trying to figure out the best way.

I expect he will get married a few months after this show though so he will likely be busy on the personal front.

As for my like button, do you mean I'm not liking enough posts? 😕

What is Alexander going to do during that time? Be shown sick and bedridden? 🤢

Doing the most destructive things.. like burning of Persipolis, executing his Generals with sadistic punishments, zulm on awaam and looting them so that audiences can enjoy him craving for his mother 😆

I was thinking.. kya Barsine tab bhi Alexander ke liye hostile rahegi jab Porus aur Alexander ke relations sudhar jayenge

No need to give SidT any more ideas. He should have shown real acts of Alexander's such as the burning of Persepolis instead of concocting scenes with bulls and what not. In any case, I don't think people need to be further reminded that he is a "villain" - SidT has converted as many viewers as he wanted to and he is not going to invest in creating a set for Persepolis or using CGI to create it. The law of diminishing returns will now apply.

As for Barsine, I doubt she will be featuring all the way until the end of the series. Anyway, Alexander is no Ajay Devgan in HDDCS to return Barsine to her Porus. 😆

This whole aashiq matter had better be addressed and resolved. It is something I have been looking forward to ever since Alexander started taunting Barsine about Porus. Today all he said was "hamdardi", but I wasn't sure if he was being sarcastic or if I was imagining things.

If indeed Sony Alexander is shown to be the one to get PR and Taxila to make peace with one another eventually, then he is to be credited for ending this age-old enmity. 😉

Hope Cornelia is not shown if they have to make her a vamp.
Seleucus did have a wife called stratonice with whom his son fell in love. Seleucus had to marry her to Antiochus because he preferred to die instead of making a relationship with his step mother. Seleucus preferred his son over his wife.
What I liked about imagine CGM was that not all greeks were vilified. They showed calisthenes as a positive person and seleucus was not dark black but grey shaded character. The only person I hated was durdhara for her stupidity and over infatuation with CGM.

I wonder if barsine will admit that she loves puru. It can intense things to the extent it becomes one of the reasons Alex for hating puru.
