Alexander just doesn't know when she will be back - he frets constantly about the delay in her return - and in any case he has sent an armed escort with her. That they are all useless idiots, who can be reduced to pincushions by tribals and students is another matter.

What puzzles me is something else. In fact two things. One, where do they have a full scale temple to Zeus in Bharat, or even beyond the Hindukush.

Two, and even more weird, what was this news Hephaestion brought back, that Olympias had been delayed by a storm, and was still to REACH that temple of Zeus? Where did he get that information and from whom? It sounded ridiculous.

Hephaestion should not have come back without meeting Olympias and making personally sure that all was well with her.

If it had not been Hephaestion, his head would have rolled as soon as Alexander finds out what has actually happened.

Yojna? Who knows? I am starting to get confused about what Chanakya says these days. First he apparently kidnapped Olympias to weaken Alexander, then he wants to have her under house arrest (or palace arrest) in PR so that she can learn about their culture and convince Alexnander to leave Bharat in peace. What???? First of all Alexander is not going to be frightened or weakened once he finds out what happened to his mother. In fact it will turn him into a very active volcano immediately. Secondly, Porus and Laachi both realize that it's dangerous to keep Olympias around for long but we have no clue what the real reason is and it doesn't look like they do either. 😡

Porus hasn't learned his lesson from the Barsine rescue mission in Faras that failed spectacularly, so he wants to try it again. I am not sure how this can succeed, even with Barbie doll Cleitus in charge of the Farsi wing of his army. The precap is super confusing. Porus is addressing so many soldiers and encouraging them to fight. What? Where did they all come from, and how can this be a sneak attack if he's taking that many people along? Barsine may once again surprise us with a last-minute move - she has a 100% track record. Maybe Alexander already sent her back to Faras and we have a decoy in place. 😆

Chanakya wasn't very happy that Porus wanted to spend time and energy rescuing Barsine after what happened to him because he still doesn't trust her, even though she apologized. 😆

I suspect all this is just to find a way for Porus to meet Roxanne in preparation for the rakhi scene in a couple of weeks.

Aunty, I agree that the Farsis would be stupid to betray him for a king they don't know anything about. What Alexander said many episodes ago to Cleitus would still hold true - that the Farsi soldiers would remain loyal because they wouldn't want their families back home to be harmed. Besides, these soldiers have fought and traveled with Alexander over thousands of miles, seen what he did to Porus and his elephants, so why would they chose to abandon him now? Makes no sense. I really hope Porus has to flee again and that the Macedonian/Farsi soldiers show us exactly what they're made up of.

You can see all the characteristic mistakes that logic dictates should lead to Porus losing the final battle. Wait, did I say logic? 😆

I noticed too that they're using Sikander more but I think it's because they are solely focusing on Bharat and the Bharati yojna's and want to get the audience more involved. But I think enough people know who Alexander is too. 😆

Hephaestion came back with "news". That was the dumbest thing I've seen recently (and we've had a few). If he learned that there had been aandhi toofan or whatever, it was all the more reason to physically go and check that she was ok. What on earth! Hephaestion came back as if he had only taken the time to go check social media for Olympias' whereabouts and not a trek to a remote place. Didn't he even find out that all her security guards are dead?

With SidT's penchant for distortion, maybe Alexander will put a spear through him instead of Cleitus when he finds out about the carelessness, and that too in a sober state.

And I agree, with only two generals, that too with such dismal quality standards in terms of their work and their poor attention to detail, it won't be hard to convince us that Alexander will lose the battle. Ugh! 😡
