No warlord Indian or videshi was idealistic...😊 it's the truth...Alexander is world wide legend it's also a fact... everyone around the world knows his name...he wasn't idealistic offcourse don't many immoral things also...but everyone did those things...time was different ...no one is mahaatma

I agree Ki he does superhuman things, but this doesn't make him wrong. They wanted to show him extraordinary strong, which is definitely Luking odd😕. But still except that faras kaand, I don't think he did anything wrong. And as a human, one two mistakes is OK.
The main thing which is important is intentions: puru intention is always good for whatever he does.
And Jha tak rahi vishuddi Ki baat, Ki kyu sacrifice kr diya use etc. To listen guys, at least he forgave her. If alex would have been in his place, he would have killed her right away.

As a show and these are characters Porus is liked a lot by all facebook pages and instagram or twitter. there noone is or veryfew are interested in Alex character. there are not many pics posted of Alexander or macedonian tracks or comments in facebook pages where 3000 to 4000 page likes are there. So no need to worry about the minority who don't like porus to alex character or actor or argue with them. I know many people who are watching this show are just interested in show as timepass not for original history and about original characters! In one face book page i saw a comment the group admins said they don't want their page to become a warground like india forums to argue or fight about the greatness of Alex or Porus. It is just for entertainment the show is. Even myself with my daughter watch the show just for its grandeur and for the handsome guy Puru/Laksh and Laachi suhani, Rati Aditya and other actors!

Guys and girls, it doesn't really matter to the CVs to remain historically accurate, that is not their highest priority.

In the spirit of entertainment, each member of the audience takes something different away from a scene or performance. Some are watching the show for their favorite actor/actress, some for their fondness of this PH's work, some for the story, some for the costumes and sets, etc.

There is no point arguing who is more popular or not, as every actor/performer will get his or her due. Fans will always have their preferences so we shouldn't waste our energy being offended by each other's likes and dislikes.

I respect everyone's right to share their opinions whether or not they match mine. Also, since it looks like the show will end soon, let's continue to make the best of it and enjoy whatever pieces of entertainment the CVs send our way.

I like both porus and Alex I like them both as characters people can always have favorites but I am slightly biased towards puru as he is defending his motherland. I love that about him. but I feel sad people criticize him as mahaan n criticize him constantly after every episode. Whereas people don't criticize Alex as much. When he has done questionable stuff. is wanting to defend your country so bad?? i can't understand why there is a need to constantly criticize puru when Alex does something bad it's strategic thinking but puru does something strategic it is criticized when Alex talks it shows his attitude but puru speeches are criticized. People sympathetic to Alex as they say he being villainized and people not sympathetic to puru saying he is mahaan. Should we not judge based on deeds Alex did many mistakes n puru did too both should be judged on their actions. But alex is not criticized as much as puru. Why the hypocrisy .Both are wrong in different instances and right in others. More importantly they are not any way real Alex or puru. I personally think puru mistake is only giving a chance to shivdutt n kanish.

Dear Deepthi,

This is a valid question, though the opposite is also just as valid. That is the question of why false scenes ---like that of his killing the High Priestess at Delphi, his killing his baby sister, or his (historically very generous) treatment of Darius' family being shown in a very bad light, to name but a few instances --- have been deliberately inserted to make Alexander look pitch black, not grey. While Porus is invariably and unbelievably lily white, and never wrong to boot.

In short, for the CVs, Porus is the favourite child, and Alexander seems to be the stepchild. Just short of being an outright villain -- perhaps out of consideration for his international image, since they are marketing it outside India, and the Sri Lankan version, to take just one, is called Digvijaya, which can only mean Alexander. But only just.

This apart, the whole thing hinges on what you expect from your TV watching. Do take a look at my response to soyan on page 6, where I have set out my point of view about this Porus. Of course you don't need to agree with it, but it is nevertheless a valid point of view, and if you keep an open mind, you just might see some merit in it.

In any case, I have only rarely discussed Porus in my posts, so your question does not really apply to me. Still I thought I would respond to it.

Anyhow, I very much hope that the show packs up soon.
