Alexander is not d only cruel person in history there is a huge list of it even indian kingr r also included in it , ashok was also known as cruel king.

Sau baat ki ek baat mere liye real history aur yeh show do alag alag entities hai.Main iss show ko dekhte waqt history nahi dhoondti aur naa hi history padhte waqt yeh show dhoondhti hoon

So I will divide my views about history ke Alexander-Porus and apne show ke PorAnder into two different sections


Section A - History ke Alexander The Great - King Porus


1.Historical Alexander was a damn fascinating character - Yes

2.He was one of the best military generals - Yes

3.He deserved to be called The Great - Yes

4.Were his wars of expansion and conquering the world justified? - No


Why do I think so?

Wars caused for expanding your empire and annexing other lands are never right.The casualties are heavy and common people suffer in the long run.


Let's imagine what would have happened if Alexander had crossed further into India,overthrown Dhanananda and conquered the entire country.

Woh toh khudko Emperor declare karke laut jaata Macedonia.And India would have been left in the hands of his satraps.Alexander might not have been a bad ruler but what's the guarantee that his satraps would have ruled India well?


This would have been similar to the British capturing India and colonising it.

And we all know what happened to us thanks to the British Rule.


5.Were Alexander's wars similar to CGM's wars?? - No


CGM waged wars to unify a nation whose territories were divided.He brought most of the states of India together and carved the famous Akhand Bharat.

CGM and Chanakya's policies can be compared to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's move to integrate all the divided states of India and make them a part of one nation.



1.Was Porus a good ruler? - He must have been one for sure.


2.Was he a hero? - Of course he was.For resisting the greatest conqueror of all times to protect your motherland is every inch an action of heroism.

He was truly Bharat Ki Sarhad Ka Pehla Rakshak who gave his best to the fight.


Section B - Apne show ke PorAnder

1.We know Puru has always been an open and passionate guy.
Bhai koi problem nahi hai usme.But you need to be careful and tactful too.

2.He has a clean and gentle heart and I don't see anything wrong with that.

3.Forgiving is really good.But forgetting is not.While he has forgiven Kanishk and Shivdutt I want him to remain alert and vigilant coz yeh dono jaldi sudharne nahi waale.
He should never forget what those two did to him and his mother.

4.Puru is bound to protect people.Its in his instinct which is why he jumped to save that kid.
Again he has this rebellious streak which will never allow him to bow in front of anyone.Be it Alex or Darius



1.Alexxy started off as a guy with dreams whose hopes were crushed by his father.
Then he turned cold and ruthless.

2.His problem is that he never displays any softer emotions except for once or twice.

3.The scenes where he kills the baby and that dream sequence should have been cut off.It left a bad taste in my mouth.

4.His leadership skills during his Persian campaign were impeccable.I loved how he stopped Cleitus from killing the Persian soldiers and included them in his army.
Though of coz Darius had to ruin that.

5.His scene with Hephastion was emotional and I really liked the two's bonding.

6.Loved his tent waala scene with Barsine and co and later his speech to the Persian awaam.

7.Then comes the dreaded rakshas-darinda phase.

Writer Bhaiya kuch toh insaaniyat dikhao usme.Poora pakka villain kyun bana rahe ho?We never know what's going on in his mind.And muft main sweet se Hephastion ko bhi shaitaan ka Chamcha bana diya.This is where I want to hit the writers.


Instead of a gladiator match,I would have loved to see Puru and Alex fight each other with words.A face off debate would have given the scope for more interaction between these two characters rather than some fight.

Long story short,kisiko Puru pasand aayega toh kisiko Alex.Both the characters have their positive as well as negative points.
Kuch na mile toh Rohit and Laksh ke handsome thopde hi dekh lenge😉😳
