Battle of granicus continue.. Alexander kills Persian soldiers and decides to throw their dead bodies into the river, so as to to induce fear amongst the people.. Upon being asked by Hephastian regarding this decision, Alexander tells him that battle might surely be won on battlefield but most importantly it's won outside the field in the minds of the people...👏

He inducts the remaining Persian soldiers into his army as he believes that they are able soldiers who managed to remain alive even after the war with the strong Macedonian army... Traits of Shrewd diplomatic Alexander is shown..👏

In Paurav rashtra, pujari makes Puru play a crossword with eyes closed and asks him to select six letters from the given question paper...😕 Puru being the spot on Puru selects exact six letters in an absolutely correct order as Alekshander...😲

The multi coloured hair and eyebrow lady comes to the court and tells everyone that his name is Alexander and he is coming to conquer India.. He has already conquered Faras.. She asks Puru to kill him whenever he comes to India and then has an emotional breakdown.. (Hearing her speech made me feel sad that sony tv Macedonians don't give hindi and Urdu speaking classes to their women..😭)

In Pourav rashtra, they discuss on how to tackle Alexander.. Ambi Raj proposes to chill and relax as they have a lot of time left before Alexander reaches India... Intelligent Shivdutt asks them not to trust any foreigner after Daraius, but smart and alert Puru says that we should be ready beforehand and not wait for the enemy to attack first.😊. Ambi Kumar agrees with Puru to which his father Ambi Raj gives him "ladka haath se Nikal Gaya" looks...😆

Puru decides to leave for Faras in order to Know his enemy...😛

Highlight of the day :- Dasyu raja gets full one dialogue to speak..

No Puru Lachi scene today..

No Daraius today.. He is still sailing in the lakes it seems.. Not at all worried about Alexander who is sweeping his land right under his nose... He is still thinking ki bacha badmashi kar raha hai..😆

My felicitations on a marvellously funny summing up, with some pertinent insights as well.. 👏 The crack about the Dasyu Raj is hilarious!

What I could not understand - though the sequence, when Alexander's general (his name seems to upset the IF software, which reduces is to cl***s) saves Alexander's life by cutting off the arm of his assailant Memnon, is apparently historically accurate - was the way in which Alexander, a superb warrior, was shown sitting paralysed on the ground, simply waiting for the assailant to strike. He does not roll sideways and try to get away, which is what any shrewd fighter would have done. It was ridiculous. 😡

Bamni is no Alexander, but he too behaves in an identical manner when Ambhiraj is about to decapitate him, staring up at him paralysed, like a bird hypnotised by a snake. So I suspect this is Siddharth Kumar Tewary's standard operating procedure!😉

I was also struck by the way in which the piebald assistant of the Delphi High Priestess, while demonising Alexander with vim and vigour, carefully omits to mention the way in which her boss lady actively encouraged him to have Philip assassinated, and also wanted him to be totally detached and devoid of any softer emotions. Some verbal sleight of hand!😡

As for the killing of the High Priestess, that was a nonsensical natakiya rupantar, as I had pointed out in my last post Deliberate distortions. Alexander never did any such thing.

This apart, the demonisation of Alexander - even the Rajguru ( he is the one so easily scared that he caves in to Darius' threat and approves a date for the Kanishka-Barsine marriage!) sees a kroor, nirmam face in the fire - proceeds apace, in tandem with the deification of Porus, who is by now a total bore.

I am not even touching on the way in which the Assistant Priestess (she is NOT the Oracle, the script notwithstanding, nor is her boss, for the Oracle is what is said by Apollo thru the High Priestess) flits across from Greece to northwestern India in a matter of days. Presumably she had a handy Nimbus 2000 broomstick ( a la Harry Potter) and she will most likely lend it to Puru for the proposed journey to Persia. 😆

He was not in India for 21 years. He goes back to Persia and worms his way to the throne, leaving his subordinates, headed by Faras, to build a business empire in the Paurav Rashtra.

That is why he ,and Moshius, are shown arriving in Paurav Rashtra to a grand welcoming ceremony from Bamni & Co.
