Story of Alexander the great

Alexander story is so full of youth, struggle, heroism, romance, bloodbath and tragedy that no other personality has every attracted people's mind as Alexander. His life story is in five to six different versions and each version is filled with exciting fables which makes him far from a normal human being. One can say writers and poets embellished his story..may be true but still here is a young boy who ascends the throne at age of 20 ...and by the age of 31 he is in India over 6000 km from his home,...and all his life he has fought and won...But his end is very tragic...in the end he is a tired young man whose now only dream is to see his beloved mother...but he wouldn't see her and dies on the way ...
