I'm personally not a fan of that show, but when someone says that Greeks in Porus should speak subtitled Greek like the Dothrakis speak In their language, I wouldn't surely try to trek my way to prove that GoT is a shameless show

The real answer was that the channel/producers don't have money nor time to make their actors speak in Greek

Nor it's something that Indian viewers would relate to.

The argument should have stopped there.

But lo, the main goal of the fight became to shame American TV and GoT in particular.

Same here I didn't say the person said it's a bad show in the sense of it's a bakwaas show. People who don't watch it they also agree it's one of the best shows. It's more about what's inside. 😆 So this is the reason why you are even more surprised with such comments. If you don't know the person you will feel judged by that person for watching it. 😆 Which I don't care, you don't care but maybe others do. 😆

As I said to her that both Indian and American shows can't be really compared for many reasons.

You have stated your point in a very logical and sensible manner which is why I understand it and I am sure other members also do and they will respect it too

@Luna99NB Its not like that members are pouncing on every member who is not finding porus good. I myself commented regarding first episode being below my expectations and nobody pounced at me.People are agreeing with logical things...like showing alexander birth as a result of rape is disaster. But putting subtitles is not possible here. And claiming that indian shows are trash isnt acceptable...especially on an indian show forum.

Also the one person who was proclaiming In Indian TV was bad was talking about her own opinions.

This entire topic of parental advice was raised to show GoT as a bad show.

Not only that, the members of this forum are pouncing upon just like anybody who are criticising this show Porus.

I wonder why people who were eager to watch this show but aren't exactly pleased with the end product are getting bashed.

Ohh bhai remember i brought the topic of Reign aur mere level se issues rakhne wali said she didnt watch it so cant comment. Well ab i wna say that very conveniently she said she didnt watch it n ran away. Chalo fair enough. But now ill raise this topic again n say, watch Reign and then tellme that can even American series make anything without distortions ? Yo. This is a game of buying n selling. The makers WILL sell what majority of the target public will happily buy. And that includes having fictional aspects too. Whether that maker is of an Indian Tv serial or American or Korean or Turkish. End of story.
