MUHURTHAM: JUN 18-22(COMMENTS WELCOME)

June 18 (Mon):

Saro meets Sulo, her mom and Dhanraj and relates the incident of her arrest. Saro cries 😭and says she is so ashamed of the incident that she feels like committing suicide. The others tell her that she should not be ashamed but Ethiraj should for his actions. They then tell her to be more careful and work on separating father and son as Gopi has doubts about his father now.

(I am totally stumped about this scene!😕) Ethiraj is being blindfolded and threatened bu two men (to owners of the diamonds). They want Ethiraj to return the diamonds and accuse him of trying to double-cross them. Ethiraj tries to reason with them saying that the diamond are in police custody and he is unable to get it. The men then tell Ethiraj to pay up half the cost of the diamond or he along with his man Richard will be killed. Ethiraj tells the men to get Richard to call Gopi and ask him to arrange for the money. The men take Richard away.

Devi calls Saro to go eat but Saro declines and gets angry with Devi and accuses her of being partly responsible for her arrest and also scold her for interfering in her family matters. Devi gets hurt and cries. Gopi comes there and ask what is wrong and Saro tell him. She also tells that Ethiraj is bhind all the mishaps and advices her husband to think about his two sisters and how he would feel if something similar happened to them. Gopi gets angry with Saro and turns to Devi and ask where his father is. Just then he gets a call from Richard who tells him that Ethiraj is being held and want him to get ready 5 crores immediately or they will be killed. Gopi tells him not to worry as he will get the money ready. Gopi then tells Saro and Devi that Ethiraj has been kidnapped and held for ranson. Saro tells Gopi that this is what they get for their sins and this is only the begining and walks away.

A postman comes to Kalidas house with a registered letter for Jeeva. Jeeva collects the letter and opens it. She is shocked😲 to read that it is a petition for divorce sent by Nirmal's attorney. She looks at the notice and is in tears😭 when Kalidas and Aparna come to see what is wrong. Jeeva gives Kalidas the letter and he too is shocked to see the notice. Aparna and Kalidas get angry and Kalidass wants to talk to Nirmal. Jeeva says Nirmal has sent the notice as instructed by Rukku. Jeeva says she is not afraid of the notice but it is time for her to fight back now and tells them she is going to meet Srithar and talk about their next action and leaves. THODARUM.

June 19(Tues):

Gopi pays the ransom and saves his father and Ethiraj. Ethiraj threatens the men who kidnapped him and leaves. The men plan to get away to Singapore immediately to escape from Ethiraj.

Suja tries to get the truth from her husband but Srithar will not tell. While they are talking, Jeeva comes there and shows the divorce notice. Srithar gets angry and tell Jeeva not to worry as he will speak to Nirmal about it and make him see the truth. Jeeva leaves. Suja's father tells her that with the divorce notice, thing are moving in her favour and tells Suja to be happy.

Devi is at the temple getting ready to do anga prathashanam. Attai too comes there and does archanai. The priest there asks where she is from as he has not seen her at the temple before. Attai says she is from out of town and has come to the temple to pray for the return of her long lost DIL. Priest tells her not to worry and her prayers would be answered soon. Both attai and Devi with two ladies are praying side by side but do not see each other. After archanai attai goes around the temple and Devi helped by the ladies does her anga prathashanam. After prayers, Attai sits in a corner leaning on a pillar. Devi too after her prayers thanks the ladies and sits on the other side of the same pillar. They still don't see each other and leave.

Srithar is washing his car and Nirmal comes there and shouts at him and tells him that the slap he gave his brother was not enough because he is still talking bad about Rukku. Srithar tells Nirmal that as a brother he has the right to hit him but only on his own accord not at Rukku's instigation. Nirmal tells Srithar that Rukku has sacrifuced so much in bringing them up without thought for herself. Srithar say that is all for her own selfishness and the payment she took was their father! Nirmal is shocked at this revelation! THODARUM.

Note: No matter what Srithar say about Rukku, Nirmal is not going to believe him and I am sure there will be more fight between the brothers.

Rukku being the sacred sacrificer.... well, Jeeva
probably deserves a better life. Now even if
Rukku and Ganapathy have a solid, legitimate reason
for their relationship, the viewers are not going to
be sympathetic to those crooks!!!!

June 20(Wed):

Continued from yesterday. Both brothers fight because of Rukku and Jeeva. Finally Srithar's FIL comes there and stops the fight. Nirmal leaves after threatening Srithar and telling his that he will divorce Jeeva.

Ethiraj is at home talking about his kidnapping and how the three men had taken money from them. Gopi and Saro look on. Paati comes there and as usual curses Ethiraj. Devi comes back from the temple and is very happy to see Ethiraj home safe. She tells him she had gone to the temple to pray for his safe return and gives him prasadom. Ethiraj is very happy and praises Devi. Paati and Saro are disgusted and leave. Gopi goes to Devi and asks if he can call her Akka and takes prasadom.

Rukku and Ganapathy are talking about Nirmal not returning home yet. Nirmal storms in and Rukku seeing his soild clothes ask him what happened. Nirmal keeps quiet and Rukku calls Kalyani. Kalyani and Vidya come out and Kalyani asks Nirmal what happened. Nirmal then tells about the fight he had with Srithar. He says he hit Srithar because Srithar told him that Rukku is having an illicit affair with Ganapathy. Everyone is shocked (especially Rukku and Ganapathy with their thiruthu mooli!). Kalyani is dumbfounded but doesn't say anything. Rukku seeing this, tells Kalayani that the entire problem is because of her and now everyone is accusing her of an affir with Ganapathy. She tells Kalyani that she will immediately leave the family and go her way. As usual this idiot Kalyani doesn't believe a word of it and tells Rukku the same and forbids her to leave the house. Kalyani then tells Nirmal to hasten the divorce proceedings! THODARUM.

Not only a saadharnai villi but a selfish and heartless one too. She wants to be with her so called coward husband of 30yrs till the end but has got the heart to separate a young couple who had just started their lives together..!!😡😡

Jeeva shd accept the divorce notice and proceed on with the case - he is not worth a dime (but then again it won't happen in our tamil serials)...Nirmal is so blind at least he shd have used his bird's brains to think that there won't be smoke without fire...!!😡

Roja...I know you would tell me "Sue, since he is having bird's brains then how on earth do you expect him to think..???😆😆😆
