Scene 1 – Ada Linga Linga Linga Linga

Linga is upset at his aides for letting go of someone (did not watch yesterday so not sure of about who). He calls the dude in chennai and tells him that he is coming back to chennai and will finish his business. Linga's meesakara aide, warns him about going to chennai, but linga is adamant about going to chennai and finding tulasi and making her his.(next Thursday is my next update linga, adharkulla avalai kadathupa)

Scene 2 – Shamugam penn parkum padalam

NK, sivagamy, saras, Amaamsami, & a clean shaven bhaskar come to ponkothai's house. Tulsi goes and decorates ponkothai's hair with flowers(vAthu mulai) and dresses her up further and takes the girl to meet everyone in the hall with a smile(perumaley). Ponkothai gives coffee to everyone. Shanmugam does not take it, and does not even lift his eyes to see the girl, finally with sara's prodding takes coffee. Once this coffee padalam is over, the girl keeps eyeing shanmugam, but he does not even see her once. They fix the date for the 9th. AMamsami asks Nk if 9th is OK, a very hesitant NK agrees, then this pAtti, asks NK& sivagamy to be the girls parents in the wedding, as pOnkothai's parents are no more, NK agrees, then pAtti makes NK & sivagamy to accept the paKKU thattu , saras does not seem very happy, as they leave, ponKothai keeps eyeing shanmugam, but he never looks at the girl even once.

Scene 3 – Ramesh

Someone from nachiarpuram comes to visit vidya. Sharadha greets him and tells him that vidya has gone out with her husband. The person remembers what ashok & his jail mate tell him(it is all muted), so he says that he has to leave now, so he takes their home address so he will call and find out if vidya is home and come. AS this guy leaves, ramesh, darshini, & vidya arrive back. Vidya gets out first and goes inside, and then darshini & ramesh get out, and ramesh holds darshini who slips. This murugan character witnesses that and thinks ashok told me that ramesh is going to kill vidya, but here these two lovebirds are so together, thinking this murugan gets confused. Vidya goes inside throws the bag and goes to the kitchen where sharada informs about murugan's visit, vidya has no clue who this character is. So they decide to find out when he calls. Chinna yannai is very happy about her shopping and shares the good news with her clan. Her dad says something is fishy between ramesh & vidya,.

Scene 4 – ThAni kuduthanam

Revathy and co are settled in their new home moorthy and co take leave. Sundaresan brings a pushanikai and wants to dhristi kazhichufy. Revathy wakes up a sleeping siva for this. Siva is upset, but obliges, sundaresan is taking dhristi, and siva is praying to elope with amala soon. Sundaresan breaks the pushanikai in the road, and are happy and as they turn to go inside, amal comes on her scooty and trips over the pushani kai and falls. Revathy and sundaresan go and help amlu baby and revathy is calling for her mama to help. Siva comes and looks from the balcony & I conclude by saying happy Halloween siva

Update for Wed Nov 1-2006

Sorry for the late update.

House warming ceremony in Bhaskar/Shiva's new house. After finishing paal kaaaichara process, NK/wife hurry to leave for tulasi's house. Moorthy asks his father why you have to go to tulasi's house because she is doing such a rubbish thing. He thinks it must be something at the insistence of Shan perhaps. But NK defends his SIL and says if he does not go there, Tulasi has threatened to break away from the family and may do something drastic. When Bhaskar also supports his brother, NK changes the topic and asks Bhaskar why he did not call malliga to the house. Now they leave and Moorthy is still angry and he asks how Shan can think of marrying another girl when he has already married tulasi. How low he can get, he asks. Now shiva keeps quiet when the topic is becoming hot for him and moorthy asks him why he is so silent.But Shiva tells some excuse and escapes.


Ramesh takes darshini for buying gifts for her birthday and drags a reluctant Vidya along. He buys a coral necklace and some other gifts to the astonishment of Darshini. When she wants to ask Vidya's opinion about a gift, Ramesh curtly tells her why you want to ask for a opinion from a "pattickaattu person". Vidya feeling insulted but is unable to say anything. When the purchases are finished, Vidya wants to sit in the front but Ramesh seeing that, tells Darshini to drive the car and he goes and sits in the front seat and Vidya is forced to sit in the back of the car. During the drive, Ramesh tells slyly to Darshini that may be she would have been a better choice for him.Vidya fights hard to stop her tears.


In tulasi's house, everyone (specially tulasi) waiting for her parents to come. Tulasi keeps hoping that they will come. Finally Tulasi's FIL says we will better start now otherwise the good time may elapse. When they leave the door, Nk and wife come in their car. NK profusely apologises telling about the house function in chennai. Tulasi's MIL is not impressed with the explanations and rather turns her face away. But her husband asks NK why you want to apologise—rather we know how difficult it was for you come here for such a purpose. Nk tells them that we all can rather go to see that girl in our car only and they all start to leave.


Linga in Andhra and getting furious about being unable to trace Tulasi so far. He tells his adiyal that they are so useless to have lost Mani in Chennai and tells them to dial Sorna and ask her about Mani. Sorna says she is coming to Linga's house with some news. She soon comes there and tells him that the person who introduced Mani to her is now in chennai hospital and if Linga goes there he can get more details. Now Linga thinks if he goes to chennai now, he can do (Dada) Shekar's contract job in chennai and also trace out tulasi with the help of the guy lying in hospital. His mates tell him not to go chennai as he is already involved in a murder case and hence it is very dangerous. But Linga brushes aside their advice and is determined to go to chennai.

Update for Wed Nov 8-2006

Mostly about Shiva today and the noose is slowly but surely tightening for him.

Shiva with Amala in a garden. Amala says even though you are my husband (!) we are forced to meet like kalla kadhalargal.Shiva keeps quiet and she then tells him about applying for his passport. She asks him for his address to be filled in the form. He hesitates and tells that he is not sure about the exact address as he has shifted recently. He promises to tell later. Now Amala gets a call from her father who tells her that Shiva has proved to be a unreliable fellow because his relative SK came to office assuming that Shiva is still working there. Now he tells Amala to note what sort of a fellow is Shiva that he has hidden from his family that he has lost his job. Amala says she has no contact with Shiva. Now when Amala tells about the phone call, Shiva gets scared and wants to go home immediately. He starts to walk away but amala stops him saying you will not get any transport here and it will take you a long time to go home. Rather I will drop you home,she says. Shiva tries to evade but can't and is forced to get into the car.

Now Shiva feigns to be confused about the route to his house and says left right so many times and finally they are back in the same place where they started. Amala can't control her laughter and says he likes him to be childish but this tooooo much. Again the right left story continues and now they end up in a dead end with some shanties in front. . Amala laughs and tells him what sort of a place have you brought me. But Shiva now decides to use this to his advantage and gets out of the car in mock anger and tells her that you are rich and hence you are insulting me and starts walking away. She tries to stop him but he escapes!

NK/Sivagami discussing about tulasi. Sivagami says this is the sort of worst predicament to fall on any parents that they have to preside over a ceremony which will destroy their daughter's life.NK says we have no alterntive in this matter because we know what tulasi did when shan opposed her plans for a 2nd marriage-she even left her house and do what we can do, he laments. Also he says we have to think about the condition of Poongodhai because she must have had very bad experiences and hence only agreed to be 2nd wife and so we should think about her also.

But Moorthy comes in now and tells them that Shan is not so innocent as they think and he says Shan only might have pressurised her to agree for the 2nd marriage. NK refuses to agree. Sivagami says don't talk unnecessarily about Shan because we saw that he did not even lift his head to look at poongodhai. Moorthy says forget that story because I saw Shan giving her flowers lovingly in the temple. NK tells him to shut up and go inside. He tells him we have enough problems and we don't want anymore. Moorthy says he will see how this marriage will go through.

When he goes inside, Karpagam tells him not to involve in this matter too much because his father is already dealing this and it is better to follow them. She is worried whether Moorthy will get a bad name from the whole episode. She says better discuss with your brothers and don't do something on your own and get the blame later.(Sensible afdvice!)

Moorthy asks her to get Poongodhai's address from his mother.

Shiva comes home and is met by Bhaskar who asks him to come to N/puram as Moorthy had called them to discuss about tulasi matter. Shiva looks disinterested and says he is not coming because he can't do anything there. Bhaskar is surprised that shiva does not care for his sister and says he will go alone to N/puram.

Inside, SK talks to Revathi and tells her to ask Shiva about his job. Revathy is reluctant but her father insists and so she goes and gives him some drink and asks him about his job. He drops the drink and gets angry and shouts at her asking why you are spying on me.. SK asks him why you are shouting at her. We are anxious about you because you are in "thani kuduthanam" now and we are very much concerned that your job is lost. He further says that his office manager told him that Shiva's activities were not good and hence he was sacked. Shiva looks shocked and gets a further bombshell when SK tells him that his office manager advised SK to get Shiva married off soon.

Brief Update only, as I just got back from spending all night at a crictical care unit, as one of our friends suffered a massive heart attack. Got to go back in an hour as they dont speak much english & i need to be there to translate for the catherization

SK questions siva as to why siva did not tell his work about being married, Siva snaps back saying that he does not feel great about his marriage, if he thinks about the way it happened.

Siva then ends up calling amlu, who does not pick up his phone, as she is mad at him for the way he left her. She throws her phone and her dad picks it up, & realizes it is siva and tells amlu that I will now have to teach siva a lesson for sure. An angry amlu's dad leaves to punish siva, amlu stops him saying that it is not sivas fault as she was the one who said they should continue their friendship.

Siva's dad says so it is actually you who needs to be condemned, saying this he cuts her cell phone and keeps it with him. Anyway this idiot keeps talking backing to her dad, who slaps her and locks her up in a room

Ramesh's psychotic streak continues, as he finds new ways to torture her with words. He acts like he is sorry for all his actions and tells her that he wants a peaceful life, just when vidya gets some hope , it is crashed by ramesh's interrogating questions and asks her if a kumar called her. Vidya then realizes where he is going with his Q&A, and the torture continues.as she realizes that ramesh was the caller. Ramesh leaves.

Sharadha finds vidya crying and asks her what happened. Vidya makes up a story and tells her that there is nothing wrong between them, as ramesh wanted her to go shopping the following day but she does not.

Update for Wed Nov 15-2006

Part-1

Continuation of Tuesday's scene. Confrontation starts right away in NK's house.Tulasi arrives with Patti and on seeing her, Bhaskar runs inside. Tulasi asks him after doing all this, why you are trying to hide.NK and Sivagami are standing perplexed.. Bhaskar tries to tell that we were concerned about your life and hence did like that. Tulasi asks who are you to be concerned like that? What is required for mama ,I am doing it and no one can stop it,she says.Meanwhile a sheepish looking karpagam comes out of the room with Moorthy. Tulasi starts attacking Karpagam saying how you can say such a thing to Poo like what sort of a shameless woman she is to try to marry a person already married. She asks what sort of culture from which you have come—you were from a maadu maikarai parambarai only.The wordy duel goes on and on. NK asks them to stop and asks his sons to apologise but both refuse to apologise saying they have done nothing wrong. NK slaps Bhaskar and tells his sons to get out of the house. Bhaskar tells Patti in a sarcastic way that why you are spoiling our house like this. If you can't get your girl married, you can get her do some shady thing.
Bhaskar storms out of the house. Now moorthy's daughter comes in and tries to talk to NK but Moorthy snatches her away and beats her up. When NK protests,he asks whether he has to apologise to his daughter also?? He tells angrily that in a few days, he will leave the house with his wife and child.Nk is heartbroken and starts crying and is consoled by sivagami.Tulasi assures Patti that the marriage will take place.

Part-2

The crackpot Ramesh is in the terrace and is searching for Vidya. He finds her in a corner. He asks her what you are doing here.She says she is so tortured by him that she does not know what to do. Then she says you tricked me by imitating someone's voice but yesterday you went one step worser by telling on telephone that you are ashok's friend and as per him, you are trying to kill me. Now Ramesh thinks and remembers telling ashok in jail about this matter. He immediately tells her that he thought Vidya and Ashok were only past lovers and this incident shows that you are both still interested with each other. To vidya's horror, he tells her that he did not telephone her. Vidya asks what you want from me. If you don't want me, divorce me and send me away to Nachiarpuram or kill me but please don't torture me like this. The keechu kural at its worst today and I could not bear to hear any more dialogues!!

Part-3

Tulasi is in Poo's house and talks to patti and Poo.She apologises for whatever happened. Patti wonders whether this marriage will work out properly with so much hostility from Tulasi's brothers.
When tulasi leaves, Patti starts to show her fangs saying don't believe this tulasi so much. We don't know at what point these brothers and sister will unite together and then where you will be, she asks Poo. She cautions Poo to keep Tulasi at some distance always and to ensure Shan is in her control.
Poo thinks that perhaps she should do like that.

Brief Update

Scene 1 – Linga Linga Linga Linga Linga

Linga visits his chennai partner in crime.
Linga is still hung up on tulasi.
Proof venuma here is latest humming:

Lings hands over tulasi;s photo to madas dude
Ramesh comes to this chennai goonda's house to see when his work will be done as this chennai dude is looking at tulasi's photo(aiyoo veravambey vendam)
Chennai Dude says that finding linga's girlfriend is causing some delays in ramesh's case
Ramesh offers to find the missing girl, but ends being just a client

Scene 2 – Nachiarpuram

Moorthy does not allow karpagam to cook at home and bring breakfast from outside
He says that soon he will leave that house , karapgam tries to knock some sense into moorthy along with sivagamy but everything falls on deaf ears
I think this is enough about this nonsense segment

Scene 3 – Ashok

Pandi goes to meet ashok with a lawyer
Ashok wants to come of jail as soon as possible
Bunch of back and forth argument between pandi and the lawyer
Lawyer says that they have 2 points one that it has been registered that mohanasundram's death was accidental & there is no proof ashok killed him
Lingas adiyal comes and tells one other prisoner that he needs to finish a person called ashok, and linga will instruct him as to when and how to do it

Scne 4 – Eureka

Vidya finds the envelope that ashok had posted, she rips it open and the photo falls
Sharadha comes looking for vidya to take her down to meet the nagai acharyar
Vidya hastily rips the letter and throws it in the vellaikari's bin
She then takes the jewel and puts it in perumal room and comes out and sees ramesh come home
As ramesh is walking upto their room, she remembers the photo that fell on the bed

Update for Monday, Nov. 21st 2006

Shan's House

Thulasi overhears Saras badmouthing her and is in tears. She clutches her tummy and a baby's crying is heard. She grabs some money and goes back out to Shan, still clutching her tummy in apparent pain. Shan asks her what's wrong. She tells him she has a stomach-ache. He wants to take her to a doctor immediately, but she refuses...telling him that ever since the test results, she has lost faith in medicine. They head off.


Linga's House

Linga talking to all his aDiyaaLs about the plans to kill Ashok in jail. One aDiyaaL drags in Reddy (the fellow who sheltered Thulasi before handing her over to the madam (forgot her name)). Linga asks Reddy where Thulasi is. Reddy says he doesn't know, but remembers her mentioning Kanchipuram. Linga sings a cute ditty about Kanchipuram pattu. He orders all aDiyaaLs to pack up and head to Kanchi with him. One fellow protests and wonders how Linga will kill Ashok if he is in Kanchi. Linga brushes off his protests and further prevents Reddy from going back home to his wife, telling an aDiyaaL to keep an eye on Reddy.


Jail

Ashok is told that he has a visitor. He wonders who it might be and goes out to check. It is Ramesh. Ashok hesitates, but Ramesh tells him he went through a lot of red tape to come and see him. He tells Ashok that he knows about Ashok's having arranged for someone to call Vidhya and warn her about Ramesh's intentions. Ashok pleads with Ramesh to leave Vidhya alone, as she is innocent. Ramesh wants none of it and tells Ashok he saw the photo of the two of them together. Ashok tells him that the photo was taken just to ruin Vidhya's life. Ramesh tells Ashok that Vidhya told him that she still loves Ashok. Ramesh says that he plans to give Vidhya poison that evening, and Ashok can prove his love for Vidhya by committing suicide at the same time.

Ashok goes back to his cell and learns that another inmate has a cell phone. He arranges with the warden to get the phone so he can call Vidhya. He makes the call.


Ramesh's House

Vidhya picks up the phone and blasts Ashok when she learns it is him. He tries to tell her that Ramesh visited him in jail and that he plans to kill Vidhya. She yells at him some more and says she is not ready to believe anything he says. Meanwhile, Ramesh has entered the home and is listening in to the conversation with an evil look on his face.

Update for Wed Nov 21-2006

Part-1

It is Linga Linga all the way as he enters Kancheepuram with his gang members. He is met at the hotel by his local friend. Linga gives him tulasi's photo and tells him that we have to trace this girl and he also tells him specifically that she should not be kidnapped but rather he should only be informed where exactly she is staying. But no such consideration for Shan—Linga says wherever you find him, bring him to me.
Linga introduces his friend to his other gang members as a very trusted and sincere person who will do anything for Linga.
Linga tells him that he is prepared to stay for even a year in
Kancheepuram to trace Tulasi.

Part-2

Tulasi and MIL come to Poo's house and find noone there. They look around and find Patti coming towards them. Tulasi asks where is Poo and Patti points to the direction of an outhouse in the compound. Tulasi asks what about this house and Patti says we are staying in the outhouse only and we saw you all in the main house which belongs to the houseowner.Tulasi says she came to take them for buying the sarees for the wedding.Patti says like how Poo can come for the shopping but takes them to the outhouse.
Unnecessary suspense being created but Poo is shown lying down there and when she turns, they see something applied on her face and Patti explains that to become more fair, Poo has applied a paste of carrot in tomato juice. Now Saras sees Poo in a nightie (normal maxi) and looks annoyed and tells her after marriage she has to wear a saree only and not like this which is not as per our traditions.Tulasi asks her to come for buying the sarees but Poo declines and asks whether Shan will be coming. Tulasi explains that Shan already told her that as he is having some union work, he will come directly to the shop. Now Poo says coyly that whatever Shan like, she is ready to take that saree and so she will not come to the shop. Saras looks at her suspiciously.

Part-3

Shiva with Amala in a garden. Amala is angry that Shiva ditched her in the car and left her earlier. Amala then tells him about her father taking away the mobile from her and shutting her inside the house and then later only giving her the mobile.She asks him about his mobnile and he tells that his mobile got damaged.and he took a new one after that. Amala tells him that the situation in her house is very serious. Her father is arranging for a alliance with someone from London and they are coming home today. She says she left the house on the pretext of going to a beauty parlour.Shiva listens very quietly and Amala gets angry and asks whyn you nare not getting upset about this. She says she does not want to go back to the house now but the creep Shiva says better go back to the house and the boy is only going to see you now and we will see later what to do. Amala gets damn hot now and tells him they are married now (every time she has to remind him!) and says she does not want to be seen by another boy and she would rather spend her time here with Shiva and go home much later and tells some excuse to her father.Now she cuts her mobile and tells Shiva to cut his mobile also.
So the two continue to spend the time there not knowing that an unknown guy is looking at them closely.

Part-3

Amala's father is very anxious as the prospective bride groom,his parents are all waiting. He asks his manager who comes in now about Amala. His manager says he checked everywhere and tried on mobile also but can't reach her yet.. Now the boy gets a call from his friend who was the guy watching Amala/Shiva in the garden. His friend tells him about what he has seen and tells him not to believe her family. He gets furious and tells Amala's father and then they all walk out saying why you tried to cheat us like this.
Amala's father is humiliated and vows to teach a lesson to Amala. He takes his vehicle and drives directly to the garden and storms in front of the shocked looking Amala/Shiva.
