Episode 2

The youngest boy of the family who is in college is recollecting how his brothers got married, to his friends. HE says that his first Anni was found in the Mattu sandhai, & the next Anna's wife case was worse. My dad went to put puncture in his cycle, & while waiting for the cycle puncture to be fixed as he was reading the newspaper he looked at a father and son, the father telling his daughter that they said it is only near by, & the daughter says saringa appa My dad recognized the man as Ramaswamy, chinnaswamy's brother, and asked how he was. Ramaswamy says im etho ok, my dad asks why, ramaswamy says that Im so sad that my sons just don't even think or worry about getting my daughter married. I have trying my best to find a mappilai for her for the past 2 years but, nothing is working out. My daughter is MOOLA natchathiram, so the mappillais place always say PENN MOOLAM NIRMOOLAM, they don't see how qualified she is but look at natchathiram. WE have come to visit the Narasimhar koil, so tell me ayya how are you. My dad says wait I will be back, & leaves, the daughter & father keep talking, my dad comes back with Vethalai in his hand and says I only got this much, if it is acceptable im asking your daughters hand in marriage for my second son. He says my son is only 11^th grade pass and working in a cloth store, so do you have any objection. Ramaswamy says she Is MOOLA natchathiram, they say that if you marry such a girl the boys mother & father might have some danger to their lives. My dad laughs and says only last week the josiar said that I will live 100yrs and my wife will live 10 more years and rule, so let us go ahead with this wedding and see if MOOLA NATCHATHIRAM wins or this GOUNDANS JATHAKAM WINS. He says if our heart likes it that is it, everything else is secondary, I looked at your daughter and I like her to become my daughter inlaw, hearing this the girls falls at his place, goundar asks him to get up, he says what is this. The girls says when we see god coming in the street don't we feel at their feet. Now they show the third son of the goundar who is narrating the story to his friends, he says so now do you guys get it as to why im afraid of getting married. The friends says PAVAM DA NEE Siva

They show a restaurant and a man eating, one guy comes and says sir sorry to disturb you, but please tell me what is your age, that guy asks why, then he says age is not important what is your name, he says AROGYASWAMy, this guy says wow what a name, he says sir now that your name is arogyaswamy, now if you get a heart attack, that guy gets angry, then then guy says sir don't get tensed sir, now that you are getting tensed , you probably have BP, if you have bp then in 3 & half years heart attack sir. Sir what if it becomes a severe attack. He says don't ask who im , look at all you are eating, you will definitely have to think about your life, please value your life, this person says you tell me that you have not eatens since morning, then u will get ulcer , if you get ulcer, that will lead to something so make it less than 3& half years, you will live for ERRANDARAI , the guy says it is not ERRANDARI N. NOW I HAVE EZHARAI. Our hero says what if you die think about your family, the guy asks what can I do, our hero says please buy a insurance sir, my name is moorthy sir, so please buy this policy. That guy who is eting disappears. This was such a comedy scene.

At that time he gets a callfrom his wife, she says ennaga today they are coming to see Siva , the girls father is imported company's jp, mama asked you to come home. Moorthy says wow, do you understand who this JP is, 7000 people work under them, he is so happy. He says if this sambandam happens, I will sell an insurance policy to everyone in that company. She says man your buddhi is so crooked.

Now we cut to the cloth store, where our second hero(brother) says amma do you not like any, the lady says she wants a orange color sari with green border where there is a mann & mayil, the sales person gets mad and ask her to go away. She says I saw 98 saris in another shop & picked one but the salesperson was so good. I gave him 50 ruppes tip, he says I will give you 101 u leve, at that time he gets a call from his wife,to come home for siva ponnuparkum padalam. So our hero goes to get permission from his boss, who refuses first, but then when he finds about JP coming to his sales person house, he gives him permission and asks him to fix this alliance

Then we see a temple like place , like in villages, not sure which diety, but has a lot of soolam and vel in front. One guy (metti oli manikkam) walks to wards it with a coin and something to break it, & prays that the NATARAJAN GOUNDAR FAMILY SHOULD AZHINJUFY & wishes a lot more bad things, & cuts the coin into 2 halves. The poojari says ENNAIYA, the entire village praises Nataraja Goundar and wishes him well you are & the NATARAJA GOUNDAR ONLY WISHES THE WELFARE OF THIS OORU, & wishing him bad, that guy says i have stepped into this NACHIYARPURAM only to see the destruction of nataraja goundar, if that happens i would even cut my hand instead of the coin

Was quiet a neat episode, I don't think I can do justice to writing this one, will tyr, hopefully will get a hang of this serial soon


They show a lorry stop and the driver say EYE OOSI GRAKI nachiyapruam has come so get down. Sundaresa goundar(SG) with Arival & a girl(marikozhuthu from muhurtham, typical gramamthu style, Dhavani, two plait hair etc)) get down

Sundaresa gondar yells at the driver: stop the smoke, don't you realize that this smoke will blacken the kalyna ponnus face. I have come here to question Natarajan Goundar,& will not leave without taking his life
Daughter: Please appa let it go,
SG: Don't worry, so far I have not used my VEECHI ARUVAL, but Nataraja goundar is forcing me to use it

They both stop at a soda shop & he asks for soda ,NG drinks 2 sodas & takes of without paying.

SG: Pesuda pesu, look at my nelamai, it has come to this level where you & all talk about me, My heart is burning, so quench that burn I drank soda from your store & felt better but now by asking the money you have again started the fire in my heart, I have come to kill him, but if you continue to ask for money, I will kill you also , saying that he leaves towards nataraja goundars place

Once he enters Natraja gounders house, NG asks everyone in the house to come out, then his sister & the 2 marumagals, come out. He throws the arrivals in the middle of the house. His daughter asks EPPADI irukenga athai.

NG: Vaya modu,to his daughter. & asks his sister where is his husband
Sister : he is out on some work
NG: I thought you will ask my daughters hand for your oldest son, but you didn't , so I thought it is ok, maybe the age difference is too much so you didn't ask, & I came and helped you all with the wedding, then I thought you will ask my ponnu's hand for the second son, but u didn't, so I thought maybe cause my daughter is 12th pass & your son is 11th fail, so maybe akka thought it might not be ok , so I said that to myself & came & again helped with your 2nd sons wedding, but now you r not aksing my daughters hand for the 3rd son, that is unacceptable. Isnt that what we had talked.
Akka: Eyee WHEN DID we talk about marrying your son & daughter
NG: Ahh, I did not speak to you but my wife & I discussed it, so does that mean that you will disrespect our word
AKKA: you are crazy

At that time nataraja gounder walks in & immediately SG's style of talking changes he is so humble and nadungufied and says VANGAMAMA, NG asks what were you screaming in the middle of the house for SG says no nothing mama, was just asking why did you all not inform me about the 3rd sons wedding, if you would have then I would have come running to help you with the marriage. NG says even we were not aware till this morning when they called and told us so let us wait and see.

Then they show JP(adhi's dad from kolangal) & his wife(krishnaveni's mom from manaivi) coming in a car. The wife does not like the gramathu setup , but JP is all gaga about village life. The come to NG's house and the entire house hold is present. JP's family is well received by NG's family. JP says I have heard so much about you that I have always wanted to link up with your family and this is a good opportunity. Then they introduce the family, (some of the dialogues were neat where sons start talking about insurance & the other about clothes) then finally they go and get the boy siva, who refuses to come out as this is so weired and he should be going to see the girl , but everything is reverse, then NG goes inside and he walks out silently. The girl apparently is completing her MBA, somewhere. Finally JP asks when they are coming to see ponnu, NG says actually I have a girl who is of marriageable age, so right now we are not even thinking of my sons marriage. JP's wife is very happy, but the screen freezes on a shocked & disappointed JP's face.

NG says he that his son siva has studied, but he has not got any good job yet, I wanted to tell you everything before but you all kept on talking. JP says don't worry about anything I will take care of it, all that you have to say is Yes.
Before NG can speak further , his granddaughter comes running calling Natraja what r u doing. NG explains that she has the right to call him by name since she was born on the same day his mom passed away. Everyone are happy, they eat and they go. While JP returns home, his wife is aksing in the car asking how will our daughter come here and live, there are no facilities, JP says she is my daughter so she will agree, JPs wife sangita says first check with your daughter, JP insists her daughter will agree to this, if she doesn't he will compel her to get married, as he wants to make NG his sambandhi at any cost.

Soundar Raja gounder, asks why did kadhirvel ask me to come. The other guy says why not, SG says that no the entire village knows that our two families are enemies. AT that time Kadhirvel(Manikam) comes out and says what is SG saying mama. Then Kadhirvel says that nothing next week we have a party , so I want you to come and do all the edupidi velai, since you are the best dog to do that, SG gets wild and he says kadhir angrily, and says don't spill the words. Kadhirvel says that you are a shameless dog, your daughter should legally wed NG's 3rd son, but NG is fixing alliance with another family & seeing that you shamelessly agree to this, so why cant I call you a dog. SG says that is how it is supposed to be, so don't speak ill of my mama NG. Kadhir & his mama ethuvitufy SG, they say that to get SG's daughter with NG's son is a piece of cake for him. SG stops and says tell me what should I do to accomplish this, Kadhir elobartes a plan and messes SG's mind. Kadhir & his mama, are happy.

NG's 3 brothers are talking. The oldest one says you are very lucky, since your alliance is getting fixed to a big industrialist family. Siva says don't talk silly, do you all know how the girl looks, both the brothers says don't talk like a fool how does it matter, how the girl looks, you will get so wealthy so quickly, so think positive go with appa and agree for the wedding. Both the elder brothers are convincing the younger one to get married and say how they will get rich because of JP's alliance. (this is a cute scene between the brothers) They beg siva to marry jps daughter so their life will get better. But siva says, but my life might get spoiled, so I have to think , since why is JP wanting to marry his daughter to me, now both the brothers get mad and act like they are strangling siva & trying to push him into the well

SG enters NG's house there is a beautiful cow munching grass. He approaches the first marumagal karpagam, and says what r u doing, she says im mixing food for the cow. SG ethuvitufies karpagam, and says once the new girl comes home then your padu is good. Karpagam says if that girl comes to our house, then she will make us so proud. She says the girls car is so cool, once the girl comes, once the girl comes home I have to aks her to make her A/C the MATUKOTAGAI . SG says you are such an innocent girl, you don't understand that an educated rich girl, how she will behave. Karpagam says don't say that not all rich people are like that. SG says you are veguli, , Karpagam says that once she comes to our house, we will change all her nature to adjust to this household. SG says since she is educated, she will not respect you. He says that if there is a sandai, your motherinlaw and fatherinlaw will only side the rich marumagal. Karpagam gets wild, he says, don't talk about my mama , athai like that, they are got. SG continues says that how about when all your parents come, your dad will come in auto, and her father will come in car, so who will get the respect, now Karpagam is thinking, screen freezes here

Karpagam is thinking of what SG told her the previous day about how the status of the new bride to be will affect their house. She remebers how SG said that You want the Mattu kotagai to be A/ced , but what if the new bride to be says this entire house is a Matukotagai. She is sitting lost next to 2nd marumagal malliga in the house who is washing dishes. They both talk and Karpagam expresses her concern, & confuses Malliga also. The entire conversation between these 2 marumagalls is listened by the Mamanar NAtraja gounder, next minute he goes and asks his wife to give the address of JP in the city. SG who is watching NG ask for address asks if he can also accompany him, but NG says no since he is only going to JP to say that this sambamdham will not work out. SG is very happy

SG runs to Kadhirs house & spreads the good news as to how the wedding is off. Kadhir is on his laptop working( so funny the laptop was off, & they were showing that kadhir to be surfing the web), Kadhir says oh that is it, i thought there was more, then kadhirs mama says what if this is cancelled , there might be another from bangalore etc, SG says as long as i have this american moolai(kadhr as he has studied in america), i shall not loose. KAdhir asks him if he will do whatever he says, SG says yes, Kadhir says then you should go back to your village, but leave your daughter here, only then Kadhal will MALARUM between your daughter & siva. SG agrees.

Then we cut to NG going to see JP. The security stops NG at the gate and says that JP is not in town, & says, and comments as to where do these people for donations crop up from. NG is waiting in the path way to JP's house. AFter a while JP arrives & sees NG at the door and chastises the secuirty from stopping him. He says he will fire him & the entire security group & asks NG to come in. NG refuses saying, if im going to be the cause of someone elses misery, then i dont want to step in, so JP reinstates the security karans vellai. The JP & NG go in, & JP orders coffee as his wife has gone to some temple to poorthyfy her venduthal when her daughters marriage get settled. NG refuses to drink the coffee & slowly says that when he entered the house he got stunned & he thinks that this alliance might not work out becasue of the status. JP says what is the real reason, thehn NG says his family is his THHEENKOODU, & he canot see it break, & already his marumagals feel insecure, so this alliance will might shatter it. JP says he will come and assure his marumagals that nothing of that sort will happen, NG sayss no now that they are insecure they might feel that Im greedy for money hence came here to take to thme to vakalathuvangufy for NG, he says so it is better we dont continue with this alliance, screen freezes here

Awesome Episode, & dialogues, ofcourse this is my humble opinion

JP says to NG that he is a business man & he knows a good deal once he sees one, & that getting his daughter married into NG's family will be the best thing to happen to his daughter. NG says that he is a Vivasayi, & he knows to pull out a Weed(kalan) as soon as he sees one, & it is better to pull the weed when it just mulachufies, cause letting the weed grow will only destroy the other established plants. JP still tries to convince NG, but NG takes leave. JP says he will try for another 6 months.

NG's house, his 2 sons are questioning their mother as to why NG has gone to cancel the wedding with JP's daughter as this is an awesome alliance, & they had such big dreams for themselves based on this alliance. Siva the one for whom the alliance is fixed, says if I would have seen the girl and she was beautiful then I would have felt bad, but no I will only that for both the brothers appa got them married & made them kashtapatufy, & me he has kashtapatufy to stop this wedding. Ng's wife states that she has never questioned her husband , so he must have some valid reasons. Sons want to know the valid reason, so when NG returns home & his wife sivagami quietly asks him as to why he had to cancel the alliance with JP, NG' avoids her question and says that they are too rich & the status will definitely come in between, then there are more dialogues between the 2 & finally NG says there are somethings which is best left unsaid & tells her im so tired but u still have nto asked me if I need food , water etc and leaves the room.

Then NG is in the backyard, & his 2 marumgals (they really fit the role so well, actually everyone does) come quietly to NG and the older one starts to cry, & she says mama , the entire house might not know why u cancelled the wedding, but we 2 know that you have cancelled it because of the two of us. IF that rich girl comes as a marumagal, nadamuralia enna enna issues varum enru oru ugama than pesikitu irunthom,, but for you we can tolerate anything. NG says im not sad cause of what you are thinking or stopping this wedding, but what I feel bad about is that I still am not a father to the you both even after so many years of marriage. I always considered you both as my own daughter, & thought I was your father, but only now I understand that im only LIKE a father. The dil's cry. IF you think about me as a father then you would not feel like this. You guys are ok in your thinking, only I think I failed somewhere. Or else why would you get this thought in your mind. You discuss all the things like How much u milked the cow, what groceries you got, what meenakshi told, what my children told about me, but u did not consider to talk this wedding concerns with me. That irkes me. How come. You could have just come and told me mama this alliance wont work out, & discussed it oopenly with me. He says itha parungama, You both are THE KULA VILAKU, THE PRAKASAM THAT COMES OUT YOU IS WHAT IS MAKING THIS ENTIRE HOUSE GLOW, I know that you guys also know that. But if you 2 feel that you are ANNIYAN in this house, then the mistake is with me, so please don't this rumba perusa, please kindly forgive me. The oldest marumagal is weeping big time and saying it is not at all your fault mama, It is my fault, I forgot that puguntha vedu is the sontha vedu, I thought if a panakara samandhi comes, my family gauvram will go, but my stupid mind, failed to realize that if I think \of envedu, then it is only my puguntha vedu. Im sorry forgive me mama. NG says it is not your fault, so please don't escalate this issue, let us take this as an opportunity to correct each of our mistakes,. EXCELLENT EXCELLENT DIAGLOGUES & ACTING, must watch in my books. All this converstion is being listened by NG's wife, the dialogues that follow are even more super,, in my eyes ofcourse

Marumagals leave & see mamaiar and then with bent heads leave. NG's wife comes to him and says I feel very proud of you that you think of both your dils as daughters but at the same time I feel very sad that you think of your kattina pondati as ANIYAM. NG is shocked & says Sivagmy, , She says just for this one word, NAAN kadamaopatturukarathunala than im living, why did you not tell me that it is because of the 2 marumagals thoughts you were wanting to cancel this wedding, I would have only supported you . The thought that these 2 marumagals who have come recently into the family not accepting you as appa irkes you so much how about me, I HAVE LIVED WITH YOU FOR 40 YRS it hurts me to think that my husband wont treat me as his. Even if you would have told me I don't want to tell you anything. I would not have asked you more. I really cannot do justice to the dialogues. It was too too good & sensible & controlled performance. She also says that the way you call me I know your mood, when I can understand your closed manasu, you have failed to understand my open manasu, I have a lot to ask like this, but I wont since I still have a lot of faith in you. Im so proud that im married to you, & I feel like I should die now. NG says don't say like that you will have to live like a deerka sumangali for many more lives & carry this family thorugh everlasting happy times, so don't say such things.

Sorry yaar, my laptop battery ran out of charge & I stepped on the chord & snapped, it, so had to wait to get this new power chord, anyway, a brief update for past 2 days & will post tonites update after the show

NG's house his granddaughter falls down unconscious, she is carried by NG and followed by her parents(his first son & dil) run to the doctors office. There the doctor checks the girl & says there is nothing to worry that the girl just fainted due to hunger. That is when the mother realizes that her daughter did not have lunch. NG is very disturbed by this incidence. The doctor discharges the child, & they all go home. At home the first dil is telling her mamiar that she has to go to get the medicine that the doctor had prescribed for her child, the motherinlaw sivagamay says good nothing major happened to the child, otherwise I would be answerable to your fil NG. The ladies discuss how this girl went without food, the dil says I thought since she usually always says thatha patti, & you feed her I thought you would have, motherinlaw says I usually do but due to the tension with JPs daughters alliance I forgot, but you should have paid more attention , atleast half as much as you take care of the cows. Then the dil goes & gives the marunthu cheetu to her insurance husband, who says please bring the bill from the last 2 times, I will claim that at work, all this is being listened by NG. He is silent, then he finally says, ok first give me the prescription I will go get the medicines for my paythi, & will give you the receipt 2. Everyone is silent. He says I have been listening to all the garabage & each one blaming one another, instead of looking at the problem, u guys are all too busy tryng to cover up one another, we have 4 ladies in the house, what use is anyone when a child goes hungry. He says from now on I will take care of my paythi too, saying this he goes to get the prescription, on the way out he tells his son, when u go the temple, pray & don't pray to the Undiyal.

Next we cut to the sandhai, where the agents are trying to fix a price for the tomatoes. AT that time, Pandian(he plays leelas's husband in metti oli, & kalidas in muhurtham), he seems to be the agents head goonda, & says that he is there to take advantage of the enemity between Kadhir & NG. He syas I have 2 daughters & have to send my brother to foreign to study, so I need all that I can make. He tells the agent to buy the tomatoes at 5 rupees. 7

All the farmers in the meantime go to NG and they tell that they are asking them to sell the tomatoes for 7 rupees. NG says first you all stay united and say that you will not sell the tomatoes under 10 rupees, the villagers agree, as they see the agent pocketing 5 rupees, which is not agreeable to them, but they are concerned that Kadhir should also agree to this. So they say that since kadhir is NG"s enemy, they will go and talk to him. NG says no if he says anything against me then u guys will get angry & spoil the entire thing, so I will go & talk to him. Villagers don't agree, but NG insists that kadhir has insulted him so much, what else can he do, so we have to see what works best for all of us, so let me go, NG heads towards Kadhirs bungalow & Kadhir mottai is watchin NG approach his house with evil eyes

Sumita , i have watched kadhir only in Mettioli as manikkam, & from that I know he can perform like a vilian. For now I think he is too irriating & cunning

Kadhir is watching NG come to his house, from his upstairs balcony. NG asks the servant Ayya irukara. Kadhir hears this and turns around to come down. A huge dalmation(d0g) comes barking at NG, the servant controls it & ties it. NG is waiting outside the door and calling for kadhir, kadhir's uncle comes out and with full of Nakkal, & says how come it is not even raining, & you are here. NG says it is ok is kadhir home. The unlce says, see you have come to our door step, so now all the virodham has gone, so please come in. NG asks again if kadhir is here. Uncle syas he has gone out of town, NG says but his jeep is here. Uncle is so stupid. NG says velakaran said ayya is inside. Uncle says he must have mentioned about me. So NG narrates about the agent asking 7 rupees for tomatoes from the villagers and they all would like to set it at 10, since the agents are making a lot of money. Uncle again asks NG to come in, NG says that when the day come that all of us become one & then I will come in . Kadhir comes & asks his uncle what happened, uncle explains as to how the village has decided the price for tomatoe, stupid kadhir says I don't think the orru said it must be andhalu's saying.& goes away.

The tomato deal deal is going on between Pandi & his agents & NG & the villagers on his side. Agents asks for 7 rupees, & Ng says when pandi comes, I will speak , u all stand united. Pandi asks his assistant kasi to get 15 tea. Pandi says that the outside agents who get the tomoto from us let us alanjufy, NG says don't give me stories. NG says 10 rupees, Pandi says, then u will have to let the thakali azhugufy. NG says we will sell, by going road by road. Pandi says that I will only sell kadhir vels tomatoes. Villagers say NG already spoke to Kadhir, he will also sell at 10. so pandi says, tell them I will sell at 10 rupees. The villagers are happy. But Kadhir is making his rounds in the jeep in town. Kadhir asks pandi how is your business. Pandi says enna kindala., u hiked the tomato price. & now you are joking. Kadhir says that NG spoke to my mama, but im the owner. My thota thakali is ooty thakali, & they have ootha thakali, so y thakali should be pricy. Kadhir & them bargain, and kadhir lowers it to 6 rupees. Then brings it down to 5 rupees. Pandi calls everyone and syas kadhir annans' thakali is selling at 5 rupees. The villagers are shocked. Pandi says I was thinking I will lose, thank god you saved me. NG says, I don't care about ur loss or profit. I only want NG's downfall. The villagers stupids abuse NG & fall at pandis leg. NG goes to mama and asks him how come u did this. Mama says kadhir does not respect me, he keeps talking about my thotham, my thakali, etc, so forgive me. Pandi is so proud now and he syas he will not sell their thakali, pandi asks them to go to NG and sell the thakali. NG has his head down. One of the villager told the villagers to stop talking. The villagers are so upset and abusive towards NG. Kadhir is putting thalam on his jeep while NG stands with his head down. Kadhir finally says Goundarey, how come the villagers who called you indiran chandran etc, see how they treated you, I think you will be feeling ashamed. The only villager who supports NG abuses Kadhir, bur NG says. Go don't talk. NG asks Kadhir are you happy now. Kadhir says no u have given me a scar that I cannot forget in this life, I will insult you for the rest of your life, & put ur head down and run away from this Nachiar kulam, that is why though I studied in America, im kuppakotufying in this mannu. Till im here I wont let you live happily.

NG goes home & his assistant wants to go home with him. But NG does not want him as he will say things to his wife. NGs grand daughter greests him and gives him towel & asks him to play with her. He says I will later. NG refuses food, and yells at her, she leaves. Mallika 2nd matuponnu comes and says the motor guy will come tomorrow, she asks if NG is ok. He says he is. She goes and complains to the 1st dil karpagam. NG's friend villagers, comes & tells them what happened to the 2 marumagals, the screen freezes on their face.

Sumita, watching todays episode, Kadhir lacked the punch in delivering his vilanous dialogues, so for today he acted very satharanam, & definitely not villanous

Swaminathan NG's friend narrates all that happened between NG & kadhir to karpagam& mallika. He then requests them to say some aruthal varthai to NG. The 2 marumagals agree and then we see NG sitting with his head down. Then suddenly a plate full of gold ornaments is handed over to him from Karpagam. NG is shocked. Karpagam says mama we heard all about what happened between u & kadhir, so please accept these jewels sell them & pay of the other villagers nashtam. NG disagrees, the marumagals say that this is not what they got from their perantha veedu, and it is all that NG bought for them. And if they don't use this now, then what use are these nagaigal. NG is so touched and says I felt bad that you did not treat me as ur father, but I want to be born as your daughter in my next birth saying this he accepts the jewels.

Siva is playing kabadi with his friends, when one of his friends come and tell him about how kadhir insulted his father in the sandhai. Siva gets very mad, he goes to kadhir vels house and screams asking him to come out. Kadhir comes out and says what is the matter, why are you shouting. The cops come to NG's house, lookikng for siva. Karpagam comes out and asks what is the matter. The cops say that they want to vicharuchify siva. Marikozhunthu wakes up siva and asks him to run as the cops are here. Sivagami says my son would not have done this. Mallika asks for arrest warrant. The inspector asks the cops the look for siva & they spot siva running. They chase him. Finally they catch up to siva, his sister keeps screaming, the cops drag siva out of the house. Sivagamy asks him to leave him. The cops push sivagamy, this irkes siva more so he hits the cops then the cop gets wild and one leads to another and the cops take him to the police station. Sivagamy is crying big time, NG walks in and he is updated on what happened with siva. NG asks what happened. They narrate that kadhirvelu has given a complaint & the police dragged him away, NG leaves for the police station.

Police station the cops are still hitting siva for raising his hand against the cop. Kadhir is sitting in the chair. Kadhir gives the complaint, stating that siva hit him with the intention to kill him. Inside the police station, the inspector is attending to a case, the inspector asks the 2nd son to bring his dad inside the police station. NG says did you tell im here, son says I did but they want you to come in. Inspector is little nakkal. Inspector says this is like a kovil to you all. NG says this is not a temple for us. Inspector asks goundar to sit, he asks what is the matter. NG says I have come here to talk about my son. NG says that im a respectful citizen, don't u have to wait for us. Inspector says your son has erred, NG says sathyama irrukdhu ayya,

Another cop on the outise of the police station says, siva must have done it in a vegam, so please hire a lawyer and get him out.
The brothers beg their father to hire a lawyer, but NG says if you guys get a lawyer you guys will have to leave the house. The brothers say that only out of love for you, siva did it. NG & brothers walk back home, Sivagamy asks where is siva everyone is silent, the oldest one says appa did not hire a lawyer. Sivas mommy asks NG what happened, he just says your son has erred , so he has to suffer. Both the marumagals ask their respective husbands to help siva, but both say we cannot, as appa has ordered us not to. Marikozhunthu in the meantime goes and sees kadhirvelu, she says I need my siva mama, Kadhir smiles,(it was really cute) he syas go and see him in jail. Kadhir says that ask NG to come and fall at my feet and I will release my mama. Kadhir says even if you stay here all day, I wont hlelp you. Marikozhuthu begs him, but kadhirs mama leaves her outside the house. Poor marikozhunthu, is very upset

The daughter asks sivagamy, what will we do now. NG asks his grand daughter meenakshi if she has eaten. NG asks everyone in the family that they are hungry and he wants everyone to come and eat. NO one comes out, both the brothers stop the marumagals from going out. NG keeps calling, he says sivagamy everyone has got deaf, what about you. Sivagamy says if ORUVELAI SAPIDALENA SETHA POIVIDome. Karpagam runs and greets him, siva doesn't answer, & goes to his room, the mother & other women folk surround him. NG's grand daughter goes and gets NG home. NG goes home and yells at siva and says did you break free from the jail. NG is getting wild, siva is quiet & crying, NG asks siva to go. Kadhir is outside his house calling NG's name. Kadhir starts to talk, NG is lisening to all with his head down. Kadhir says goundar your son did not escape from jail, I withdrew my complaint, so I thought instead of letting him rot in jail I thought I would realese him. He says your son thinks that he is a hero, if I would have hit one time , he would have been dead. He says you are crying that your ethiri has released your son, now you will understand how pirinjufying a pasam ulla payam is, if just one day hurts then think about me. Today im a new person because of you, I will not let you live or die. I will bring you down a step each day , & one day make you nirmoolam. NG says thank you for releasing my son. WE see a Tulsi (NG's daughter) followed by her husband who says epperpatta appa my dad, & the police dragged my brother to jail.
