Muhurtam – Episode 64 in US
(Recap Last week Kadhir's & Bharathi's wedding is called off by Bharathis's mom as Bharathi & Her, witness Kadhir with Angarkanni, as preplanned by Bharathi's Chithi's son Sivaperumal & Kadhir's periappa)

Scene starts with Bharathi's sister Janani visiting Angarkanni(Kadhir's friend). Angarkanni speaks saying that she has heard a lot about Janani, & she does not seem to be all that. Janani says that she is a very straight forward girl and would right now be ripping Angarkanni apart if only she knew the truth. Since Janani is not sure about what happened she is has no words to say. Angarkanni says so are you accusing me of something, & she continues to say that Naan Thappanava Illai. Janani says that's it is ok, everyone who makes a mistake always says that, so what. Angarkanni asks Janani to come to the point.

Janani says that I will speak but hope you wont be bothered by what I ask. She then says that Im sorry & feel very ashamed that I need to ask such questions, but then it is ok, cause u were the cause of breaking my sister Bharathi & Kadirs wedding. Angaryarkanni is shocked at hearing this, & goes and explains to Janani as to how what her mom & Bharathi saw was right, but what they assumed is wrong. She went on and said that her husband had taken her daughter away without telling her, and she panicked and called kadhir,, & she explains how when kadhir came, she had fainted and Kadhir had to hold her from not falling on the ground and had to lift her as she was unconscious

In the meantime, Kadhir goes to Bharathis house and asks for her. Here Bharathi's, mom comes and insults him (it was quite abusive hence not going into details). Kadhir listens to all and says, please don't take any decisions hastily, & that if Bharathi asks him to go away he will. This silly Bharathi comes and without thinking right & only thinking of seeing Kadhir with Angarkanni, asks him to go away. Disappointed Kadhir goes away. There he meets with his friend, who asks Kadhir not to give up hope and says that Bharathi's reaction is also justifiable, as she loves Kadhir a lot. Kadhir poor guy is stressed & confused.

In the meantime Janani speaks to her sister bharathi at home and explains to her as to how stupid she was to take a decision without checking with Kadhir as to what happened. Bharathi asks her not to defend Kadhir, then Janani goes on to explain what really happened as Narrated by Angarkanni and says that Kadhir is not to blame. Now Bharathi the silly wants Janani to go and speak to Kadhir and apologise.

Janani meets Kadhir and Kadhir says, ok now you have also come to insult me so go on and say that im a pompalai porukki etc go on go on. Janani says I have not come to say this, and my sister is also crying and is very apologetic. Kadhir is happy now, and he inturns asks janani a question, about how did your mom and bharathi know that I had gone to angarkanni's house after the baby was kidnapped. Janani tells him that Sivaperumal annan had brought them there, Kadhir asks then how did Sivaperumal annan come to know, as only I knew about the baby being kidnapped so I went, so how come Sivaperumal knew this. Now Janani says that I think he must have done it as he never wanted to let this kalyanam happen.,In the first place. Now both Kadhir & Janani are doubtful of Sivaperumal's motives(WHICh are very evil anyways, but his mom looks more dangerous) and they decide that Janani will speak to her mom about Sivaperumal & Kadhir will speak to his parents. The screen freezes on Kadhirs deep thoughtful face.

Muhurtam – Episode 65

Scene 1
Bharathi's mom is thodhuthufying mallipu garland, bharathi is watching, Janani comes in to the house and says that she wants to say an important matter, & that Sivaperumal is not a good person. Her mom as usual supports sivaperumal and says that "Ennikumme unnakku sivaperumala piddukathu" so what is it that you are going to say now. Janani continues to say that Sivaperumal never liked Kadhir& Bharathi's wedding,, that is why he is trying his best to stop the wedding that you have arranged. AT this Janani's mom stands up and says stop it, what is this new story you are spinning. She also stays stop spoiling your sisters mind as well. Janani says, first you stop what you are thinking, if someone kidnaps a child and stops a wedding then he is a criminal and your son is a criminal. Then janani narrates what Angarkani told her the previous day. She finally says that Kadhir mama is pavam. She also says that after planning this entire kidnapping sivaperumal came home and took you and bharathiat the knick of the time to witness kadhir with angarkanni, to stop this wedding all by yourself. Janani says don't trust him he has some kind of ulterior motive, there is something that he needs from our family so watch out. She says that Sivaperumal might even kill me & bharathi, so be careful. Listening to this Janani's mom cries and says that how come a person who is so affectionate with me and you all plot such a thing, let me go and ask sivaperumal if all that you guys are saying is true or not. So she puts her slippers on and goes to meet sivaperumal

Scene 2
Kadhir's parents are finishing dinner, and after that, kadhir's father asks him so what do you want to tell. Kadhir explains that Sivaperumal was the one who plotted and kidnapped the child and tried to break this marriage, & he says that if Bharathi's mom comes to know it was all a plot by sivaperumal then all the misunderstanding will clear &she will realize her mistake. Kadhirs mom and dad refuse to go back and sort the difference. Kadhir's dad says that after the way bharathi's mom insulted them she has to come to their door step and ask for forgiveness. Kadhir says incase Bharathi's mom comes and apologies would you forgive her, for which Kadhir's dad says that ofcourse he will forgive her and they both say that Kadhir's happiness is their happiness. Happy faces filled the screen.

Scene 3
Devayani amma reaches Sivaperumal's house, with a very sad and confused mind. She overhears Sivaperumal speak to his wife and yell at her and speak at the top of his voice, and says that he is the one who is responsible for breaking Kadhir's wedding. He continues to scream and say that he was the one who plotted this entire kidnapping and took Devayani amma there in the knick of time and they were such fools to believe that Kadhir was having an affairwith Angayarkanni. His wife says that one day Devayanni amma come to know of the truth and then you will all have to face the music. Sivaperumal says that what will she do, she cannot do anything, what do u think that Devayani amma's husband committed sucide, because his middle daughter ran away. No never, It was actually I who kiiled him and hung him in the rope. Hearing this Devayanii lets out a scream, and goes and catches sivaperumal's collar and says how could you do this. Sivaperumal acts nice, but knows that he cannot act anymore. He gets violent, and says that what proof do you have to tell anyone that I killed you rhusband. AT this sivaperumal's mom the biggest villi, says that what his son did is right, and devayani gets wild and goes and ollukufys her and yells at her. Sivaperumal tries to defend his mom, but devayani calls him a dog and asks him to leave her, for which he raises his hand says, that you are a anathai nai, and you call me a dog, assaying this both mother and son tell devayani that if she every opens her mouth they will burn her and her daughters alive, sivaperumal then drags devayani amma and leaves her at the door and shuts the door. Devayani is in total shock and grief. This entire scene was so very well acted by devayani. Sivaperumals wife cries and her mean motherinlaw asks her to shutup and go

Scene 4
Devayani goes home and cries and cries and cries her heart out in front of her husband. She has heart palpitation, so she sits on the sofa, and calls for bharathi, who comes and keeps looking at her mom and senses that something is wrong. She repeatedly asks ennama, why are you looking at me like this, she says please speak amma. Devayani is crying & with tears flowing down her cheeks, She says that she want to see her daughter. Bharathi says ok she will call Janani, Devayani says not janai or my older daughter, but I want to see my middle daughter manju, so please call her as she is carrying a child , please go bring her carefully. Bharathi is so shocked to hear her mom say manu's name, but she is happy at the same time & Bharathi says please let us first go to the hospital. Devayani says no first please call manju and come. So bharthi rushes to bring manju, and devayani amma is in a lot of heart pain and she sanjufies on the sofa holding her heart.

Just hope she stays alive to see manju and relate all this story so manjus husband can nail this ugly sivaperumal 😡

Episode – 66

Devayani amma is sitting on her sofa crying and enduring a lot of chest pain. Bharathi is approaching Manjus's house, and here devayan amma goes near the tv showcase and grabs a paper and writes something folds it, and her pain is on the increase, she tries to get up , but collapses on the floor holding her chest. The fan is blowing in full, and the paper she wrote flies away and gets stuck under the sofa.

Bharathi , Manju and Janani arrive together and see their mom on the floor. Manju puts her moms head on her lap and janani gets water and bharathi calls the doctor. Manju screams, as she realizes something is wrong. They all frantically try to wake her up, but realize that she is no more. Janani says wake up amma and see manju has come. Manju cries and says why did u call me, tell me tell me. Bharathi is crying and all the girls are crying. Manju says you suffered all your life and u suffered when u died too, now when am I ever going to see you. (there was more azhugai dialogues)

Manju's husband kalidas's dad comes and tells him about manju passing away. Kalidas says that he will go and come, and his dad says that for dhukam all should go, but kalidas says that Manju's cousin brother Sivaperumal will definitely create a scene, and if he says anything abusive about you(his dad) then I cannot tolerate.

Here in Sivaperumals house, sivaperumals wife is crying uncontrollably, & the evil mamiar of hers says why are you crying for someone orrar's death, we should be celebrating. She also says that i wonder if you ever cry if i pass away. Sivaperumal's wife says that why are you guys like this, u guys have no eevu , irakkam, . Even if someone whom we don't know passes away we will have a moment of silence for them, those are manusha janmam, but u guys devayani amma took care of you like a real son, see what you did, u took her life. Sivaperumal says why should i cry, tne he says actually I will cry there and act so much. Sivaperumals mom says dont go there sivaperumal what if that what if devayani has told everything about us. He says im sure she would not have said, before that she would have puttufied. The wife is listening to this. Sivaperumal looks at his wife and says he has to go.

Sivaperumal says that if no one knows anything, then we should use this situation. HE warns his wife to stay home and cry thinking of devayani athai. So mother and son set of to devaynai's house.

Manju, Janani, & Bharathi are crying around devayai's body, and their older sister comes with her family and cries. There are a lot of people around. Now sivaperumal and his EVIL mom enter & sivaperumal cries and acts so much like devayani is his mom and his real mom is not like his mom. Janani is getting so upset listening to sivaperumal and she llooks at bharathi, Sivarperumals amma goes on about how devayani should not have left so suddenly and sivaperumal cries. Manju is with her husband kalidas, and janani can take it no more, she blurts out that my mom never came to your house to talk to you but she came to fight with you, you people did something to her , u did something to her that is why she died. Kalidas and manju look on in shock and kalidas stops manju from proceeding further. Sivarperumal's mom is in shock and has a thiruthu muzhi, & sivaperumal is in shock

Episode - 67
Episode 67

Manju is sitting in her living room sofa and the fan is running in full blast. Manju is lost in thoughts about the time she spent growing up & all the moments with her mom. Her eyes flood up. AT this time because of the fan the paper that Devyani amma scribbled on before her death, is flying out from under the sofa towards manju. Janani comes near manju and sees her so sad,and tells her not to cry. Manju says none of us know whatever happened to amma in her end. How come the mom who hated me all this time, called me just before she passed away. She also says that I know something has happened, something definitely affected her mind. During this time the paper comes flying and is on janani's feet. AT this time bharathi calls manju to come to the kitchen, and manju stand up knocking a towel of janani lap on to the sheet of paper. Janani now gets up to go and the sheet of paper is stuck to her feet, but she does not realize it, and as she climbs up the sheet gets blown back on to the floor. The maid servants pour water and mezhugufy the house and the paper gets wet. The servant goes to pick that paper when another servant gives this one another chore so with out looking she picks up the sheet kasakufy;s the sheet and throws it in kuppai. (almost getting to be like anandhams diary)

IN the meantime at sivaperumals house the son & mother are joyous about devyanis death and the fact that she did not tell anyone about them. AS it is a norm in their house sivaperumals wife keeps warning them to turn good or one day she herself might potukuduthfy them.

Kadhir and his friend are talking and his friend asks him not to give up hope. Sivaperumal says that he has lots of schemes up his sleeves, and he will send manju away to another town 😡

Next sivaperumal goes and meets Kadhirs periappa & thy both plot how to take care of manju and get bharathi married to that periappas son.

Manju asks her sisters to come to live with her, but this evil sivaperumals eviler mom is listening, but that stupid older sister comes and chastises manju, bharathi says that i already mentioned that it was amma herself who wanted me to go and bring manju. Manju cuts the conversation short and says so are you going to take them to your house. The evil periamma comes and says that where will these girls go. Janani gets very wild and asks the periamma not to come and do panchayat inbetween sister. Janani also says that my mom visited you the last and we don't know what happened at your place. Shameless periamma says ur mom loked at my son as the paiyan, so from now on only he will bring you two girls up. All the sisters are so shocked. Periamma offers to stay at their house. Periamma also goes and threatens that my son does not like anyone who crosses him. She sternly rather wickedly says that these 2 girls will stay her. Manju is asked to stay back by janani, but manju says she will go but will come adikadi and chck on them scene ends on janani's concerned face

Eposide 68

Kalidas is in his kitchen fixing food in a plate. He takes it to his bedroom, where Manju is lying down. He calls Manju, and tells her that his dad told him that she has not had any food. He understands that she is still grieving her mothers death, but it not right for her to starve as she is pregnant with their child. Manju says I know, but every minute I only think of my mom. I keep on thinking why my mom called me in the last minute, & what did she want to tell me, but could not tell and died. Kalidas says your mom would not have wanted you to starve but to take care of yourself, if she was alive, so please take care, he also says that Oruvela your mom might be born as our girl and comes into this family. Kalidas says that I believe that we will have a girl and we will give her ur ammas perru. HE feeds her and she eats, They both make a cute couple. Manju looks much better than other serials that she acted, (recently in kolangal she is the one who got murdered and they are investigating her case)

Janani is talking to Kadhir about not coming to her mom;s funeral.. He goes and explains that how his dad stopped him from coming to see bharathis family, he decided to respect his fathers wishes as it will only help them out in the longer run. Janani says that bharathi is anxiously waiting to hear from kadhir, but he is avoiding her. Kadhir is happy to hear this, but requests Janani to arrange for them to meet.

IN sivaprumals house his wife is very anxious to speak to bharathi and explain that her husband and mamiar are the casue for devayanis death. SO she calls bharathis house, but bharathis elder sisters daughters are playing around the phone and leave it of thehook,. The next time she calls her evil mother inlaw is the one who picks up the phone, but without realizing that sivaperumals wife tells everything and tells bharathi to keep this a secret, but understand that sivaperumal and her husband are the cause of her mothers death. Her Evil motherinlaw is silent and goes home and tells sivaperumal & he beats her black and blue and they lock her in a bedroom. The motherinlaw tells her that she wants to see her dies of thirst, and saying this she locks her room

Muhurtham – 69

Bharathi and kadhir meet, and that dumb faced bharathi is quiet & smiling to her self. Janani says now how long are you both going to stay quiet. So kadhir says sorry for not having come to the funeral. Bharathi says I know janani told me. Kadhir says im tolerating everything so there wont be any tension in the wedding. Bharathi says she understands. Janani translates to kadhir that what my sister means is that she will wait for you for ever, but be careful as you will be one who is going to suffer in the long run. Kadhir says that whatever it is only I will tie the knot on bharathi, ithai entha shakthiyum thavirka mudiyathu.

Then they cut to Sivaperumals house where his wife is locked up. Kadhirs friend is seen climbing with the houseowner in their next house, to fix their cable. There are bunch of boys playing loud music.
Sivarperumals wife who is locked up in the room sees Kadhir's friend fixing a cable line. She gets very excited and calls for him. He first does not notice her and once he notices her, indicates to her that he does not understand what she says as he cannot hear her properly. She asks him to wait and scribbles something on the paper and throws it out. Kadhir's friend picks up the sheet and immediately starts his motorbike and drives as fast as he can to Kadhirs house. He enters kdahirs house in a hurry and stops abruptly when he sees kadhirs parents. Kadhirs dad asks him what is the matter. The friend says that he was laying a cable for a new customers so has some questions for kadhir, Kadhir;s father says is that all, he says yes,, he tells him ok kadhir is upstairs so go and talk to him. But both of you just do ur job. He nods and then rushes upstairs.

Upstairs he narrates everything to kadhir & tells him that he could not understand what the lady said, but this is the letter. Kadhir opens the sheets and there it is written that EN UYIRuKE abhathu, so please ennai KAPATHUNGA. Kadhir & his friend are shocked and kadhir asks him to inform Kalidas. The friend does so and kalidas asks him if what he is saying is true. He says yes, so kalidas gathers his constables and goes to Sivaperumals house. There they find the locked room and he bangs on it and asks who is inside. Sivaperumals wife says that she has been locked up inside against her will. Kalidas asks if she is willing to be released she says yes and she narrates how her mamiar & sivaperumal have locked her up & that she wants to be released and share an important information with him, as her husband is a KOLAIKARAN.. The constable then opens the door on kalidas's instruction. Sivaperumals wife comes out and says that when I said my husband sivaperumal is a kolagaran, I meant it and u know who he killed , he killed your mamanar. Your mamanar did not commit suicide after he heard about ur marriage, but my husband sivaperumal killed him and made it look like a suicide. Kalidas is very angry.

Next she is shown giving her statement in the police station, & that is being typed away. She signs the document. And they show manju approaching the station. She asks kalidas why did you ask me to come. Manju is looking so ravishing. Kalidas says that i thougth it is important you listen to it from the person who is a witness to all, & stating the same. Sivaperumals wife narrates, how her husband is the one who killed both her parents. Manju is in total shock, she says enna solaringa. They show a flashback of sivaperumal pushing manjus dad down to the floor and hanging him. Then there is another flashback as to how manjus mom heard everything and he insulted and threatened her and threw her out of the house.

This entire episode was very well edited and pretty gripping

Another gripping episode ..

Manju says that the entire world said that only because we eloped and got married, appa died, but that Sivaperumal has articulated the entire thing. WE should not leave him alone. Kalidas says that IF Sivaperumal finds out that his wife Radha has given a statement it might become big trouble, so please go to your house and bring your sisters to our place. Manju is very angry and says what will Sivaperumal do kill anni(radha) like he killed our parents. But kalidas insists that she goes and brings her sisters. Manju goes and gets both her sisters, at this point sivaperumals amma comes and says Eai Nilludi. Manju simply stares at her and drags her out of the house, and when sivaperumals mum says vidu di she raises her hand to slap her Manju says NEE INGA IRUNDHU ATTAM PODA mudiyadhu, yedhaavadhu pannanum enru think panna, KONUUDUVEN JAGARATHAI. Saying this manju drags her out of the house, & forces her sister to lock the door, leaving Sivaperumals mum outside and leaves with her sisters.

Sivaperumals mom comes home and sees that her house has been broken into, and thinks where did this marumagal go, hope she did not spill the beans , wonder where this sivaperumal is. AT this point the next door neighbor comes and tells her that the police came broke open the door and took your daughterinlaw away. She then frantically tries to call sivaperumal. Manju in the meantime tells her fatherinlaw to take care of her sister. She also says that I haven't told anyone, im going out, but will be back soon . Janani stops her and asks her where she is going. Manju says she is just going to shop, which janani refuses to believe and asks manju to tell the truth , swearing on her mom. Then manju is forced to say about her fathers & mothers death. Manju is so stupid 😡 and foolish as she is going to face Sivaperumal. Janani is trying to stop her, but Manju proceeds to go and ask sivaperumal a few questions. She pushes janani away and goes. Very good acting by Manju though. (Hope she does not get killed like everyother serial she has been in – recently bhaskars to be wife in kolangal who was murdered)

Kalidas gets a call from Janani who tells her about Manju going to see sivaperumal. Kalidas says he will take care of it, and not to worry . Radha is very anxious thinking that Manju might come to some harm. Kalidas assures her that nothing of that sort will happen. Next they show Manju climbing to get to the Kull Query. At the same time they show a pair of male foot steps coming down fast, then they show evil sivaperumals face. Manju is looking for him, and he comes from her back. And tries to touch her, and she is so angry and starring at him. She asks sivaperumal ENNADA APPADI parkara. Sivaperumals ays im you brother , manju says that you killed my parents and u need MARIYATHA. And my mom died after meeting with you, and you were the reason who stopped me from even getting the last glimpse of my father, my mom always meditated on you , and you split our family, NANGA ENADA THROGRAM pannom. Sivaperumal says that now that you know it all, let me tell you why I did this, cause ur dad cheated my dad , so I have to take all the sothu back, I killed ur parents, now I will kill all you sisters, like a kosu. Manju says my mom would have given u all the sothu,, I fyou have asked. Sivaperumal says I don't need the pitchai. Manju says I will see to it that you will be put in thukku. Sivaperumal asks NEE enna thukula podaporiya , WHAT PROOF do u have. MANJU dumbo continues and says IRUKU DA IRUKU , ur wife RADHA.

Manju says enna muzhikarai, the secret that you had locked and kept in your house, has been released by my husband, and it is in the form of a statement. She also continues to says that in a few minutes my husband will come to take you and lock you up. Sivaperumals says I know you rhusband loves u and the baby in your stomach, so I will kill you and your husband, manju slaps him so hard. And then there is a struggle between manju and sivaperumal. Finally she manages to kicks him away and starts to run away from him. Sivaperumal is chasing her, and kalidas is on his way to find them both. Manju takes a breadthr and sivaperumal silently finds her. Takes a big KATTAI and smacks manju in her face when she turns hearing a noise. Manju's head is spinning and the screens freezes on her falling down……….

Another neat episode

Sivaperumal is attacking manju again with a hug log, he says now see how I attack the baby in your stomach, & aims at her stomach. Hearing this Manju gets ferocious & she gets asura strength and she pulls the Log away from sivaperumal & beats him up black and blue. Sivaperumal is down, out & too afraid by this onslaught and falls on the ground. At this point Manju goes and gets a KADHAPARaI, and she is aiming it at Sivaperumal She visualizes how Sivaperumal would have killed her dad & her mother. Seeing those she advances towards Sivaperumal who is in shock & pain & unable to get up. Kalidas is show coming running towards where manju is, he is just about to come and stop her when she kills Sivaperumal with the KADAPHARAI. all this is being witnessed by Kadhirs Dad's OLDER brother (sangili murugan). I guess now he will turn out the be the main Villain.. Once manju realizes what she has done she just stops and sits down. She tells Kalidas arrest me, I killed him. Kalidas says stop it manju , u did not kill sivaperumal I killed him. Manju says are you crazy. I killed him. Kalidas says our child should not be born in jail, so please listen to me and go home, I will take care of it. Slowly Manju walks back to her home.

In sivaperumals house her mom is sitting in a corner and saying ENNAKU ONRUM THERIYATHU, it is all sivaperumal, it is all sivaperumal. At this time someone comes and tells her that Inspector Kalidas Killed sivaperumal with a Kadhaparai.

In the meanwhile Kalidas enters the station where sivaperumal's wife is still there. With his head bent as he cannot face her. Radha goes towards Kalidas, All the subinspectors stand up as Kalidas puts his Cap down on the Desk & removes his Belt. And places it on the table. Radhas asks him why are you not speaking anything. She just watches him take of his shirt. And put it on the table too. Kalidas looks at the Gandhi picture and goes into the jail cell. Radha rushes to him, and asks what happened. Kalidas says I killed your husband Sivaperumal. Radha is in total shock and then she breaks down crying & walks back. He then calls the subinspector and says I have killed sivaperumal , please file a case on me.

After this we lost satellite connection due to thunderstorms, so unitl tomorrow

Starts off with Manju splashing water on her face in her house. Then she proceeds inside her house like a Zombie and crashes near her sofa, with her head on the sofa. Kalidas's father sees Manju and tells Janani Manju Vanthuta. Janani comes and calls Manju, but Manju is in her own world, Janani calls for her a couple more times, and the dumb face Bharathi also comes from inside. Then Manju slowly responds and narrates all the happenings & how she killed Sivaperumal. Everyone is shocked. She also says that her husband Kalidas came and took the blame on himself so that their child wont be born in jail. Kalidas dad says, ennama sollarey, then he says, my son has done the right thing , so you don't worry. Janani says don't worry manju we will hire a good lawyer and bring Kalidas mama back , since sivarperumal is not a good person anyway.

Next they show Sivaperumals wife Radha in the mortuary crying, & when she goes to open the sheet to see her husband a worker comes and stops her and says only after the inquiry they can see the body. In the meantime Kadhir gets a call from his friend, saying that Kalidas has killed sivaperumal. Kadhir is in shock, His mom comes and asks him who was it, Kadhir silly narrates everything to his mom and says he is going to the station. His mom warns him and says you better stay home and don't get involved in these. And stop acting like Bharathi is your wife. Kadhir is frustrated and is staying put.

Then we cut to Delhiganesh house, where he comes home in a hurry and tells his wife not to let Mahi(their son) to hang out with Kadhir anymore.
